Garden Room Bistro in Taunton Deane

We decided quite late in the morning to go for lunch at the bistro I was a bit worried if there would be availability for us as there was seven of us but we get there at the right time and we all had a fantastic lunch some had full breakfasts some had jacket potatoes all of which was outstanding and the staff once again was amazing x

We had the English Breakfast - one small (£4.50) an one large (£7.25). The large breakfast is exactly what it says - so if you have a normal, healthy appetite, the small breakfast will probably suffice! Comes with toast or fried bread - we had fried for a treat and what a treat! The quality of the breakfast as a whole was as good as I have ever had in my life - and at these prices it is excellent value too. The bacon, sausage, black pudding, toms, mushrooms and bread are all sourced from local shops and from Wellington market, over the road - I really like that touch. Service was also very friendly. Very highly recommended, but be aware, opening hours are for brunch / lunch rather than breakfast.

We come to the bistro for breakfast or lunch and its fantastic so are the staff we attended a phychic night there on Wednesday night and it was brilliant and rhere going to be doing more evening events but like i have stated well worth going for breakfast or lunch x

Oh my god the breakfast we had was blooming gorgeous so we don’t eat black pudding so hubby had the big breakfast and swapped the black pudding for a extra sausage I had the smaller breakfast and swapped the black pudding for another rasher off bacon oh my we wished we hadn’t as it was to much we ate what we could we really didn’t want to leave any the sausages are big and meaty the bacon thick slices the toast doorstop bread wow it was gorgeous and greatly priced the bistro is also lovely and comfortable and the staff are so lovely bless them so friendly honestly if you see this review go and try the breakfasts well worth it also there don’t open till 10-30 am as it’s a bistro

Went for an informal business meeting with a colleague over a cappuccino (delicious) and ended up staying for lunch as it was such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, with really friendly staff. Had a very tasty panini, freshly made, not warmed from a chilled cabinet. Will definitely call in again when I am in Wellington.
