Gate of India in Harrow

I ordered Paneer Tikka Masala, chips, 2 cans of cola and garlic naan and peshwari naan. Naan's were half burnt. Masala was bland and was a miniscule portion of chips. What was worse that i paid £1.25 for each can of cola and when the cans arrived the price was printed in them 79p each so I was overcharged!!!

I ordered a takeaway from Gate of India, Cannon lane, Pinner on 31 October 2020. Ordered 4 main dishes for family. Chicken shashlik - very dry and bland. No salad which I thought came with dish. Chicken Biryani-Very little chicken and too much sauce. Lamb JALFREZI- Meat extremely chewy,not at all tender. The worst dish by far was my daughter's (it was her birthday).Chicken Tika Masala -Not like any dish I have ever seen before. The sauce was heavily dyed,like a deep maroon colour and had coconut in it. This was truly AWFUL. Especially if you don't like coconut (not in menu description) HOWEVER ,my main concern was the bill. They overcharged me BY £9.64 and I had to pay cash as apparently my card details wouldn't go through, also very odd. I should have received a 10% discount for cash payment but, this was NOT deducted(£6.07) total over paid £15.71. I called the next day to complain and asked for a refund. Was told manager would call the following evening .No call. Surprise, surprise. I called again and spoke to the most,arrogant,rude man. Said his manager had covid so would not be In till following Monday.(I won't be holding my breath.)Also, the receipt was not attached to the order which is unusual. Please,don't use this takeaway they are not honest and will over charge you if they can. This was my first order from them and I certainly will not being going back.

I was treated horrible and accused of lying, being on drugs. just because they got my order wrong. even have a recording of them saying give me 5 stars and you will get your refund. Horrible do not EAT HERE

We ordered take away from here. We were overcharged. When I queried the price, I was told they would get back to me. They didn’t. On the plus side the fish bhuna was the winner dish. The other dishes were as flavoursome but mainly sauce with little meat. One chicken dish had five pieces of chicken in a soup of sauce.
