Very polite staff, absolutely gorgeous red hot food,

Cracking place. Food is excellent, decent sized carpark, welcoming inside. Main reason to visit is obviously the food. The two brothers who have taken over the place actually care. They listen to feedback, take it all on board and are prepared to keep their standards high. The carpark is uneven and the restaurant itself could do with a referb, but listening to the brothers ideas, it won't be long before it's a top Indian restaurant, not just because of the (already great) food.

Totally amazing. Food. Staff. Ambience. Just celebrated my 60th with a couple of friends here. The food was outstanding. Service exceptional. Will definitely be coming back but won’t be leaving it til a birthday. Far too good for a once a year visit. We only live 10 mins away. Who knew such a fantastic place was on our doorstep. The food was excellent, we were asked if we were ready for our mains and we asked for a breather which was respected. A very relaxing and enjoyable experience. My first time visiting but will be back. The early bird menu is an absolute bargain!

Hosted our 40 of us for our Football Christmas meal. Food and service was amazing

Went in on a Sunday for the all day Sunday deal 14.95 per head any starter, main and Nan or rice. All good food Royal mixed, normal mixed and pakora chicken then korma,staff curry and Desi lamb curry. Pints expensive 6.80! London prices and small coke 2.75!. Best sticking to water 💦.

Been using this restaurant for about eight months just for take away but decided to have the full sit in experience tonight- we were not disappointed- what a calm atmosphere, attentive staff, and knowledgeable management - the food is amazing and every dish is so full of flavour - as confirmed vegetarians I can honestly say it was so satisfying to have such a choice of dishes- really recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good food - we will be back

went here this evening, food was fantastic staff was so polite I really enjoyed my curry value for money we did the early bird absolutely worth every penny the early bird is every night 6-8 I recommend on a weekend go early as I reckon it will be packed as the food is beautiful I advise anyone to go.

Este es nuestro restaurante indio local favorito. Siempre una cálida bienvenida, y la comida es encantadora. Porciones de muy buen tamaño, cocinadas frescas. Usan carne de buena calidad, solo comemos platos de pollo pero siempre es agradable y jugoso. Tienen un buen negocio, un domingo también. Sin duda recomendamos.

Great restaurant. The brothers that now run this place are really lovely and accommodating whenever we go. We always go in as a family of 4. Our children are over the moon they now do puddings (which the previous owners did not do). Food is always amazing.

Last night I was very unsatisfied with our meal and I put a negative review but I can't believe how they tried to make things better with us with a voucher and apologies for the error. So I hope in future orders we have better services

Brilliant food, atmosphere and good friendly staff. All at a reasonable price. Loved it that much we tried to book for Christmas dinner but unfortunately it was fully booked at the times we wanted. Always next year. This will be our new regular Indian restaurant.

Wow Very impressed. The food and place was excellent. I had the chicken tika, it was the best I have ever had. Rafa ( front and back of the house gaffer) runs a very professional ship. The staff were so polite and helpful and treated you like a valued customer. Ellie, the new member of staff and her first night , was being trained by Rafa and the team. She will do very well, with her polite and professional manner. Use this lovley indian restaurant. You will have a lovely night out.

Perfect curry house. Lovely food and really nice folk. They're really well geared up for allergies and took great care of my girlfriend who is a coeliac. We had an amazing meal. Can't recommend Gate of India enough. 5 star hygiene rating as well 👍🏻

Only order my take aways from here. In my opinion the best indian food in Morley. Food is always tasty. Never disappointed.

El mes pasado me encontré con el nombre de un restaurante "la puerta de la India", que está en Morley. He pedido su 'festín dominical' del menú que viene con casi todo, pido 'tawa Lahori' como mi plato principal con pan de ajo naan y también pedí 'murgh fitah' para empezar. El curry era fantástico, con su aroma cubría mis alrededores, la carne era tan jugosa y llena de muchos sabores especialmente notado el comino. Infundí al Garvey sabor a ajo de pan naan y disfruté cada bocado y el entrante fue otra obra maestra de arte que nunca experimenté cebos tan pequeños pueden estar llenos de sabores

Este es fácilmente uno de los mejores lugares para un indio en o cerca de Leeds. La comida era muy sabrosa, y uno de los miembros del partido dijo que era el mejor curry que habían probado. El servicio es excepcional; nos recomendaron platos de los servidores y ninguno de ellos defraudó. Recomendaría absolutamente darle una oportunidad. Definitivamente volveré!

Absolutely incredible food and service at Gate of India! Every time I have been, the food has been out of this world - highly recommended and the staff will do anything for you!

worst Indian ive had, very poor portions, rice was awful, naan bread undercooked (very doughy), tandoori mixed grill (if you can call it that) 2 pieces of meat for £13 is outrageous.

I don’t usually post this sort of thing, but just had to say that we’ve been to The Gate of India for dinner this evening and it was superb!! We’ve always known the food is amazing, but they now allow you to take your own drinks!! We took our own wine and beer and halved the bill, they charge a nominal corkage fee, but not worth mentioning in the grand scheme of things. The service is brilliant and everyone is made to feel really welcome. If you haven’t tried it, try it! If you’ve been before, go again! It gets better with every visit.

Excellent value for money with the early bird offer available 5.15pm till 8pm every day....the Peshwari naan bread just WOW! Please don't change the recipe 🙏 Would recommend & thank you 😊

Don’t often leave reviews but this place is my new favourite! Food was piping hot and of such high quality! The chicken just melted, it was the best Bhuna I’ve had in a long time! Will be ordering again!

POOR.. new ownership serving average takeaway food with poor service.. BEWARE was charged extra for breads already included in 3 course and 5 course meals.. food and service definitely not worth getting overcharged.. and with stomach cramps all next day - make up your own mind.. we definitely wont go back

Me recomendaron Puerta de la India así que pensé en darle una oportunidad de esa recomendación personal. La noche fue genial, el personal era servicial y curvilíneo. La comida era sabrosa. Mi única queja era que nuestros ojos eran más grandes que nuestro estómago y no logramos devorar a toda la abuela. Era tan grande que lo colgaron de un soporte ya que probablemente era más grande que la mesa. Pedimos el entrante vegetal para dos, que fue una buena introducción. El personal preguntó si nos gustaría esperar un poco antes de traer la red. No dijimos entonces la mesa llena de deliciosas y apetitosas tuberías principales y que nan. Tal vez deberíamos haber esperado. Recuerdo el lugar anteriormente como proveedor de papas fritas hace algún tiempo. Los propietarios actuales solo han estado allí 7 meses y me alegro de que estuvo a la altura de la recomendación. Definitivamente volvería pero pediría una abuela más pequeña la próxima vez. También tenía un certificado de higiene en la pared con una puntuación de 5 mejores.

I went there with wife & daughter about a week ago & we were very pleasantly surprised by the excellent service & the decor. The food was superb & beautifully prepared and presented & the staff were wonderful.

We were served by the lovely Rafet, his service was impeccable!! The food was gorgeous, me and my boyfriend were so suprised of the pricing of the food especially with the quality we recieved. Honestly DEFINITELY RECCOMENED, to anyone wanting an indian in this area this place was incred !!

A hidden little gem of a place. The A650 road view could put you off but don't let it. We tried it out as it was within walking distance from where we were staying and so glad we did. We had the early bird offer which gave you an extensive range of choices and was excellent value. The staff were polite and attentive and the food was delicious, would definitely recommend.

I've ordered from here a few times over the years and its always been nice, usually I'd ring in an order but Saturday evening I decided to call in as I drove past. Staff were very friendly and apologised for my wait even though I'd only walked in and ordered. Nice little porch to sit in and wait. Food was tasty and a good portion size for the price.

Ordered the mixed kebab, paneer tika, a side of dhal and a side of palak paneer and 2 naans which came with a complimentary popadom and dip, all were absolutely delicious and great value. Lovely place with a great atmosphere, really nice servers and excellent choice of menu! I'd have given the food five stars but they are a little bit heavy with the flavour for me, for example there was just a tad bit too much garlic on the garlic naan, but my partner loved it. Overall , I would recommend the restaurant 😊

It was amazing service and food

We ordered a takeaway from here which came 2 hours late due to them going to the wrong address when the right one was on there. We then phoned and they were rude on the phone with no apology. The food would have been nice if it was warm.

The best Indian by far, 2nd time I’ve used them & now the only 1 I will use. You can taste the flavour of the food & not be overpowered by the spices or lack of them. Only downside is that I asked for a menu but didn’t receive 1

Had a fantastic night out at this wonderful spacious and quality restaurant. I was greeted with enthusiasm by Rony who is an awesome greeter and best front of house experience I had had in any restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very attentive especially Rony. The food was outstanding and I particularly enjoyed the mint sauce which Rony had prepared earlier with his own hands. It was not too minty and was just a perfect accompaniment to my mixed starters. The main cause was also very flavourful and I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. You’ve got to try it to believe it. I will definitely be back perhaps with the family. Thank you team Gate of India for an amazing night out at your restaurant and look forward to my next experience with you.

Great food & atmosphere 👌. Loved it . It's not far from Bradford. They do curry on the bones as well. Just need to ask about the flavour and they can make it . That vegtable singara is homemade , loved it and thanks for recommendation

The food was lovely, a decent portion size and very reasonably priced compared to other takeaways. A couple of naans were missing from the order, but when we rang up they were speedy to resolve and brought two naans out very quickly. The man that delivered the missing food was so apologetic and extremely friendly. We will absolutely be ordering again! :)

Took 2 hours for a delivery and then it was warm . Ordered at 7 .30 pm arrived after numerous phone calls at 9 30 pm,said he only had 1 driver .no excuses poor service.
