Worst branch of Genting I have ever visiting. The staff members are very rode and not at all welcoming. Seems they do not want the guests to play at all and just want to sit idol.

We went to the casino at 2.30pm. Only 1 roulette was open & upon asking for a blackjack to be opened was informed it would be about an hour. This despite the website advertising table games available from 2pm. We left & drove the 400 yards to Rainbow casino where all games were available. I would not go there again.

Only went to use their toilets (my car had broken down outside and I was waiting for the AA!), but reception was very pleasant and helpful! The casino looked very well appointed and relaxed!

Really nice casino on the Hagley Road and about a 15 minute walk into the city centre. The place was really quiet for a Friday night so after a drink we decided to move onto the Grosvenor Casino near New Street station. Maybe, it’s the minimum £5 stake on the Roulette Table that kept the punters away, in this day & age understandable.

Gentings Casino was always our “ go to” place for an enjoyable evening and a delicious meal. Since Covid the restaurant offerings have been reduced from a la carte to burgers and pizzas. Yesterday was a special anniversary so, after having a meal elsewhere, we decided to pay a visit to enjoy a few games of roulette only to find that the minimum stake had risen from 50p to £5. This too was blamed on Covid.We didn’t stay long and won’t be visiting again.

Reservamos la cena para 3, no porque fuera el fin de semana de San Valentín, sino porque nuestro hijo estaba de visita desde Nueva York. Al momento de la reserva, me informaron que solo había disponible un menú de San Valentín con una selección de 4 artículos por curso (incluyendo una opción vegetariana y una vegana por curso). El precio era muy razonable 30 por persona e incluía un vaso de Taittinger (NO el prosecco ubicuo). Pedimos 3 entrantes diferentes que disfrutamos cada uno. Los 3 elegimos bistec para un plato principal (la otra opción no vegetariana era el salmón horneado) y nuevamente disfrutamos la comida con nuestros bistecs cocinados a nuestro gusto. No tenía espacio para un budín, pero mi esposo y mi hijo ordenaron tarta de manzana y natillas mientras yo iba a revolverme (¡yo también gané, resultado!). Cuando me reuní con ellos en la sala de estar, ambos expresaron su disfrute de sus dulces. La comida estaba bien preparada y bien presentada. El servicio fue atento pero no intrusivo y la temperatura ambiente era encantadora y cálida. Me presentaron una mini caja de chocolates Lindt (al igual que aparentemente todas las comensales) y nos dieron un cupón de juego individual para las mesas de ruleta. En general, una experiencia gastronómica completamente agradable.

Staff were friendly and greeted me on arrival. The doors were super secure and gave both a feeling of safety and unnerved you a little at the same time. The gaming floor was busy and the atmosphere was excellent for a Friday. Had some food, where the prices were quite reasonable, and a real ale from the Bar. Played a game of poker in the private upper cardroom, and was treated to chocolates as it was Valentines evening. Staff were provided and were well trained. Toilets were well lit, clean, and roomy with good access. Car parking on site, with staff and security in attendance. Enjoyed my evening and would go back.

Realmente vergonzoso frente a mis amigos cuando las notas escocesas se rechazan en el bar y las máquinas. Todavía somos un país y todavía es de curso legal.

Tried to change Groupon booking but restaurant very unreasonable with accomodating another date. Very disappointed as we have been there many times before. Waiting for the manager to contact us. Let's see.what happens.

I hate giving bad reviews but i was so disappointed on my visit sat 27th july i am a member but had not been for a while as i walked in to the main room i could not believe how quiet it was normally on a friday or saturday the place is buzzing, i went to the bar to be told there were no draught beer at all and she did not know when they would be selling it again so the choice was bottles only, so then we proceeded to have a go on the machines after that i thought i will have a go on the roullette there were so many empty tables then i could see why every table now is a minimum of a pound a bet there used to be at least two 50 p tables so i did not bother after this i said to my partner lets get a taxi home, i can only say i hope it changes back to how it used to be do maybe in a few weeks i will give it another visit we with our friends booked for new years eve last year and was going to book again for this year but now i'm not sure whether we will, i'm sorry for this negative review but i just felt i needed to get it off my chest Regards David

El casino era bueno, siempre limpio y con un personal amable. El bar sin embargo es una historia diferente. Sin cerveza de barril, excepto dos bombas temporales de Budweiser y Stella, ambas calientes y planas. Cuando mencioné esto, nadie estaba realmente interesado y solo ofrecí alternativas de botellas caras. Arruinó la noche, ya que tomar una copa acompaña a tener un revoloteo en las mesas.

Friendly staff, good level of security. Nice setup of tables bit overall the casinos very small compared to other Genting casinos in the Midlands.

Rushed and Poor service (except the guy on the door, who was most excellent) I'm not ever coming here again. The guy in the roulette table can clearly see I'm put chips, so why not give me at least 20 seconds but NO!!!!!!!..... after 5 seconds he spins the the table. Stupid Idiot... This place is all about stripping you of your cash, it's not designed to allow people to enjoy the casino as part of your night out .... Probably just best for those degenerate gamblers who want to loose all their money so they're wives leave them and they end up living off benefits in council housing and turn into degenerate alcoholic gamblers. Lol... Conclusion: Not for the average person who's just wants a bit of fun as part of the night out. For that your better off going to Grosvenor on Broaduz or even the one at Broadway (albeit thats often filled with degenerate gamblers too :)) )

Bought a Groupon voucher for 4 people had a lovely meal and a win on the slots. Good value

A year ago it was good So that was written over a year ago, since then the resteraunt has deteriorated with slow service and poor menu. The bar food is OK but restricted menu with many items not available. Some staff have developed an attitude problem.

Had a snack in the bar with family and food was luke warm, had a very long wait and food came at different times. Bar staff lady Roxana was very rude and abrupt when we ordered a gluten free toastie. They didnt have any in stock!!! They shouldnt advertise what they havent got. Not impressed at all.

Food was exceptional and great value! Staff were all friendly and happy to help us as it was our first time visiting the casino. Really nice atmosphere.

Visited on a Friday evening for the first time since a disappointing meal here several months ago.We'd booked for an early dinner in the hope of finding some improvement since our last visit & were glad that we decided to give the Fahrenheit Grill another chance.We were greeted pleasantly at the door & this time we were prepared with proof of identity to enable their records to be updated.We then proceeded to the bar.Service was prompt & polite & upon learning that we'd booked to dine we were presented with menus & a wine list to peruse before placing our orders.The only downside in the bar was that they had air conditioning blowing cool even though it was a cold night in early March (when temperatures dip sharply at the end of even a moderate day).However, the restaurant was lovely & warm.Our first course orders arrived in good time & my smoked salmon was beautifully presented & tasty though I'd have liked a little more salmon as I'm greedy for it!My husband had a simple artisan bread starter which was 'rustic' bread accompanied by olive oil, Balsamic vinegar & a roasted garlic bulb which he pronounced delicious. Our request for a delay before main courses were served was heeded.When mains arrived they were well presented on hot plates (I bemoan hot food served on cold plates).My husband had duck which again he said was delicious & I elected to have rack of lamb.This was cooked perfectly for my taste (pink) but other diners could request 'well done' if that's their preference.Both dishes came with some vegetables (caution!:not all dishes do & each side is an extra cost of about £3.50 - fair enough if you're aware).My husband had a dessert but I had no room for one. We were both impressed by how the food quality has improved since our earlier disappointment.All service was prompt & courteous & to round the evening off I won at the tables! Will definitely return & hope that standards are maintained.

20 of us went for our works Christmas meal. Food was great and service was so organised. even made little name cards with our order on so we could enjoy our evening.

Absolutely lovely place. Made my birthday so special. Staff were so nice and friendly. Girls at the front desk were very kind and helped us through membership, bar staff were friendly and welcoming, and the manager went above and beyond. Five out of five, would reccomened.

On a busy Saturday night I was so pleased to get the best table(in window) in the restaurant. Upon arrival we enjoyed 2 for 1 cocktails (6-8pm) followed by a couple of drinks while we chose our meals, we were then shown to out table when starters arrived. The Mozzerella & tomatoe was a little bland but the peri peri chicken main was fabulous, my husband enjoyed a perfectly cooked steak. The service was excellent throughout. It would have been rude not to have had a little flutter which was equally enjoyable with the fun but professional staff.

I have been to the casino many times,unlike other casinoes the genting edgbaston casino is very very well staffed with almost all young professional English boy's and girl's dealers.they are courteous well spoken and give very good service on table games.i play on the casinoes great array of fruit machines a lot,the payout are very good and one visit on the fruit machines I played with one fifty pound note and I was very very lucky to have won a payout of more than four thousand pound.the casino is very plush and a great refreshing atmosphere,so edgbaston genting casino is a great venue to gamble.

Went as a family group of 5 for dinner and to play the tables on Sat 5th May.My husband & I have been members for several years although we don't go regularly.I was asked for ID (which I didn't have with me) & so was my husband (who did).Our son-who hadn't;t visited for 11 years- was admitted with no problem!Not an auspicious start!The meet & greet has changed since our last visit & we had to ask to see menus before we were seated.This was to alleviate a wait once we were at our table.The restaurant (Fahrenheit Grill) had only a few tables occupied.However, a boxing match was being shown live in & around the bar area.Our orders were taken fairly promptly but starters took over half an hour to arrive.Main courses took a further 40 minutes after starters were cleared.The food was adequate but not very inspiring and the wait was unacceptable.I appreciate that people watching the boxing and a few people playing the tables also had food requests to be filled but feel that people who'd made a firm booking for a particular time should have been served promptly-especially as our booking was made some weeks ago.Bar & waiting staff were pleasant & efficient but this was by no means the 'treat' that it used to be. One thing that did please us was that a dress code had been reintroduced-albeit only a 'smart casual' one but this is an improvement on the prior 'anything goes so long as you're spending' policy that prevailed for a time. As their policy has altered I'd recommend that people register online before visiting as the club is now 'members only' -no guests are accepted as was the case before (e.g. A male member wanted to sign in his dad as a guest but the father had to register himself-fortunately he had ID with him).

Not too good with very regular customer during boxing matches. Regulars treated as second class citizen. Waiters avoiding you as if you've got the plague or Lassa fever . Guess what? There're other places you can go and enjoy if they don't need your money. Being going to this place for last 5 years.

Saw the reviews for the Casino and as it was close decided to register and provide ID (no hassle either). It was definitely worth it. I had the Squid to start followed by the Thai Red Chicken Curry. While it wasn’t authentic Thai and why would it be, it was delicious and great value for money. The menu had something for everyone at reasonable prices. The service was exceptional and the restaurant is a pleasant place to eat. Don’t let the fact it’s in a casino and you need to register put you off, its well worth the visit.

always go here as its near my work so after a lads night its just a good get together its a quite casino with everything you'd want 100% go here

We went here as 2 couples on a weekday to eat at around 8pm. We arrived and were seated , the atmosphere was quiet and we ordered food which was ok. There is nothing in the way of complaints , just nothing to shout about either, its a little more expensive than other places around the same area. Ok and no complaints but would rather try somewhere else than return here next time

Nice bar area separate from the games, happy for you to sit and drink and socialise. The only draw back is it felt like a prison getting in and out. Understandable as I imagine there's a lot of money on site.

An Extremely pleasent place with cheerful and helpful staff

I’ve eaten here several times with my employer and enjoyed the food every time. The wine is also good. I like the environment here as you can either hit the tables or just sit with a drink and enjoy a conversation. The service is very good.

Pros:- Food presented well.- Good value if using a groupon. - Beef croquettes starter was lovely. - Steak cooked nicely, just as ordered. - I had the duo of pork. One of the cuts was lovely, the other not so much. - Good selection of drinks on the menu. - Attentive restaurant staff. - Free car park.Cons:- The bread that came with the chicken starter seemed stale (it was chewy, we're pretty sure it was meant to be crispy).- The watercress that came with the steak tasted of soap. - The mushroom that came with the steak was cooked so much so, it was crispy.- The £10 casino 'promotional' chips came with so many terms and conditions (that were not mentioned on groupon), it took all the fun out of it. Even the staff were unsure of how they could be used. Please vote if you found this helpful.

We dined here using the Groupon voucher and we were well impressed. The hostess was very attentive and pleasant.We had the smoked chicken starters followed by the mains chicken supreme and the beer cod and chips . Very nice indeed.The restaurant was not busy which made it even more relaxing. We shall definately visit again.
