Georgios fue excelente bajo la administración original y han sido buenos bajo la nueva administración. Sin embargo, en mi última visita para patatas fritas y guisantes especiales, el pescado obviamente se había mantenido caliente durante mucho tiempo. Al abrir la comida en casa encontré que el pescado era marrón en ambos extremos y todo era como goma. Estaba seco, duro y no era comestible. El servidor debió darse cuenta de esto y debió pedir que se cocinara un pescado fresco, pero ella vendió ese. Huelga decir que tuve que arreglarme con patatas fritas y guisantes. Realmente no creo que vaya a ir allí de nuevo.

5* no question, it’s popular because it’s the best around. Ignore any negative comments. Would never go anywhere else, people saying it’s busy and that’s because it’s worth the wait

The quality of Fish and Chips from Georgio's take-away is absolutely exceptional. Consequently you often have to endure a queue. On our first visit a seasoned customer assured us that it was "the best fish and chip shop for 20 miles" - that may be an under-estimate pending a contract variation agreement.

Superb food and friendly service from all staff. Highly recommended. Been coming for years. We have chicken strip wrap meals and cod and chips. Totally happy. Lol.

Absolutely great food. We had cod and chips and they were both cooked really well. The staff were friendly and although there was a wait we really didnt mind. If you want the best then why not wait for it to be cooked. You can ring ahead, we learned, thats what I will do in future. Top Quality. Very refreshing to find a master of the art of fish and chips.....well done

This is by far the best chippy in the area. The attention to detail is brilliant and everything is fresh and delicious. The kebabs are brilliant, tasty with a lovely fresh salad. The guys work like a precision machine. Really excellent.

Called for food on Friday teatime and was very disappointed with the whole experience. Parking is very difficult due to the entrance/exit system and very few people move their car forward as the cars in front leave causing a blockage. A long wait once you place your order so you would expect the fish to be freshly fried, not so, the Haddock we were served was not fresh and was overcooked not what you expect from Georgio’s. I also ordered Chicken Meat, Salad & Chips, the chicken meat was minimal and in little pieces and was therefore an expensive dish. I will Not travel the extra couple of miles for a poor meal. Georgio what changed with your chippy?

This chip shop has quite possibly the worst service of any I fast food shop I’ve ever been to! It’s a fish and chip shop....every single time I go in, without fail, they never have either fish or chips ready! Let that sink in for a second. It looks like there is a massive queue all the time as they are popular...not at all, it’s just because they take for absolute ever to serve anyone. The hassle isn’t worth the wait. Several other chippys in the area that are near enough as good and always actually have food ready.

Always good food here! A long wait but worth it, the only draw back would be there is often no fishcakes left and they are to die for to be honest. More fishcakes please and keep up the good work guys... Always a friendly and warm experience at georgios. Thanks.

There food is 2nd to none wouldn't go anywhere else all food is freshly cooked in front of thees a bit of a wait but its worth it

We were staying at Ringwood Hall and decided to go to an Italian restaurant on the Saturday night about 2 miles away. Georgios was buzzing and we were glad we had booked a table. The service was friendly and professional. The food was excellent. The starter Mussels were big and like a main course portion. The pasta and pizzas were excellent. The wine was very reasonably priced. Highly recommended we will be going again. Taxi was only £4.50 each way.

Food is great, but they never have everything ready at the same time! No matter when you go there is a queue, and whilst this shows its popularity, it also reflects the disorganisation of the staff. Whenever you get to the front of the queue, they take your order and then tell you what has just run out. I’ve never seen anyone get served and have their food wrapped and given to them without a 10-15 min wait. I used to come here straight after college and wait for opening time, they don’t put the food in until the last minute, so they started off with a wait. YOU SHOULD HAVE FULL CABINETS FROM OPENING, THEN YOU WOULDNT KEEP PEOPLE WAITING AND LOSE CUSTOMERS, We now buy our chips elsewhere.

This place has to be the best chippie for miles, everything is cooked fresh so you may have to wait longer than other places but it’s well worth the wait. Brilliant

Excellent Haddock, Chips and Chicken kebab, worth waiting for. I live in Berkshire and haven't found a decent Fish and Chip since I moved in 2013, I will be back soon.
