German Doner Kebab in Croydon

Worst ever experience as a regular customer . On the date of 15 december ordered my fav items we did not ewt nothing as we had a very buzy day and we wanted some gdk . I ordered for colection and went home without checking , that was the first mistake as one item was missing . As reaching home when i open the bag i saw the food is missing. Went back to the shop with the food as it was cold already and had to return it so i can get my full order when i reach there a woman without uniform told me that all my food is there and that i have ordered only 2 items , i showed tje receipy and she still keeping the same way as i ordered 2 items , she made me think aswell i did mistske and ordered only 2 mains but actualy was 3 mains . She was very rude and made me look stupid. After she realised that she did a mistske she accepted to make me another food. Everithing wqs good until again i reach home and the vegan items that she gave me had alot of salt and as seen in the picture is dry and no salad no sauce nothing . I cannot go again and again back to the shop and explain to them the problem. Thank you .

Today, I visited a German Doner Kebab establishment in Croydon for lunch. The food was served promptly and was suitably warm and flavorful. However, upon reaching the end of my meal, I discovered a black hair in the kebab box, which was deeply concerning. I brought this to the attention of the staff, but they displayed a concerning lack of concern and stated that such occurrences were not uncommon. Furthermore, I observed that the individuals preparing the food were not wearing beard nets, which raises questions about hygiene standards. Given these circumstances, I declined their offer of additional food and requested a refund. Regrettably, the staff member made an inappropriate remark about the fact that I had nearly finished the meal before discovering the hair, implying that I was attempting to take advantage of the situation. Needless to say, this experience has left me with a negative impression of this establishment, and I do not intend to patronize it again. The unprofessional and dismissive attitude of the staff is unacceptable and undermines the overall dining experience.

Average food, small portion, very overpriced. Staff can’t be bothered to look after customers.

Driver came late making my food cold and to make it worse I opened the box and it was awful I paid for extra mix so where was all the meat im seeing more lamb than chicken and the chips were all the way at the bottom barely any of them too like I pretty much just had a portion of a toddler

Disrespectful staff, I asked for 4 Donna kebabs. But then I said can you make that into a meal? But the lady at the back said no, that is not possible we cannot do that. So why isn't this not possible? But food was great. The staff were just disrespectful. That is my only complaint.

Good food but almost every time I tell myself "this is the last time I order from them". If you order extras you have a bigger chance of not getting what you paid for, than getting it. This time I ordered large chips, so they used a small (open) container and just throwing some extra chips in the carrier bag, alongside a coke and some ssuce - "here dog, have some extra chips, you paid for it after all".

Worst sandwich of my life. A local average kebab shop is 100times better than GDK. Cold and rock hard bread filled with hard & burnt chicken rashes without any sauce and tiny bit of salad.

Slowest service I’ve ever seen, completely understaffed for a lunchtime service, i have been waiting for 25 minutes so far and only just placed my order as everyone is having to queue to use a self service machine with no staff at the till, two guys trying to make all the food in the kitchen and 2 guys not doing very much on the floor. With the prices this place charges surely you can afford to put on an extra staff member to deal with peak times.

My OG Kebab was tiny compared to the ones I typically get (didn’t even fill the box). Almost half the size of the usual one I get. Absolutely unacceptable considering I paid full price for half the portion. Quality and portion size is good in person but they take liberties when ordering online considering you’re paying an inflated price for much lower quality food.

I came for dinner in the evening and the customer service was a girl wearing glasses one white and one brown the customer service was very bad

Bought a quick takeaway. The food was ok. It felt overpriced despite the huge size of the box the food was not large in quantity. Nice staff and atmosphere.

my order took 2 hours after a made the order it was ment to reach my by 3 and come at 4.28 the delivery times kept changing and the kids couldn't wait any longer so they just eat something else. The times aren't accurate at all really disappointed

Placed a small simple order on JustEat. Estimated delivery was 15 mins. 1 hour 10 mins later it still says the order is being prepared at the restaurant. Tried calling the restaurant and it goes to voicemail. Never ordering from here again. Absolute bsh!t.

Kebab was nice but almost room temperature, chips were stone cold, delivery took 1 hour 10 mins despite it saying 15 mins when I ordered. Restaurant uncontactable by phone. Driver didn’t come to door - I had to go and find him on the street.

Food was delivered stone cold. Left the note for driver to call me but he didn't spoke any English. Couldn't find the place had to look for him for like 15 min and he came on foot. Really disappointed with delivery. Thats was my last order.

My husband happened to be near the Croydon branch so went into ask if he could have a couple of packs of sauce for his meal he already ordered. He was told there's enough sauce inside the kebab and wrap. I had sent him a pic of my dry kebab and when he showed the staff, was told it looks like it had sauce in it (when it really didn't). Anyways when a customer asks for sauces, common decency ny a store is to just provide it without interrogation. It just ruins the meal when it's dry af. Especially when advertised as 'containing signature sauce'. Overall very disappointing and won't be ordering from here again!

The manager of this branch is very very rude to the core. And from the reviews everyone is complaining about her. I am surprised she's still working here as a manager after all the complaints. This simply means no action is being taken care of. I came to eat with a friend n it was really cold. One gentleman asked if they can switch off the fun which the manager responded by saying it's automatic n there's nothing she can do. So the gentleman asked what they do during summer of which the manager responds by saying it goes hot n went in saying it's still summer not winter. We then asked her if there's anything that can be done as we were all freezing. As we continue talking amongst us, the manager shouted at us to Shut Up! To be honest , this came as a shock to us as why a staff would shout at customers asking them to shut up? We asked her why she talks to us in that manner n told her first that was rude, second, she has no right of talking to customers in that manner simply because they enquired about the fun. She continue arguing n telling us we can't do anything. One staff was there n we asked to speak with the manager that's when she said she's the manager. N we asked us that why she's rude? I have been coming to eat here, n there was a time she was rude to other staff . Talking to them in a rude manner. We then told her we will report her n we started looking for head office contact. When she heard us chatting she picked the call to call her boss lying n even telling us she's packing our food for us to go and eat at home. First we never asked her to pack our food, why does she think she has a right to decide to customer what to do? She then went ahead telling us her boss is watching n hearing the cctv audio. Which wasn't necessary as we honestly don't care but if he was, I would like him to go listen to everything. The manager of this Brach lacks good customer service. She's unprofessional, very rude. Lacks good communication skills and needs proper training on how to relate with customers and her staff as well as all the time, they are sad and look scared .

Came to Croydon branch this afternoon to eat. A gentleman and us complained about the coldness of the place as the fan was on and it’s not summer anymore. The manager who’s that big lady there said she can’t turn it off so we asked what happened if it’s winter and she said it’s turns automatically but it’s her tone and attitude. She even told the customers to shut up. She was very rude and disrespectful. She lacks customer service and don’t know how to talk to her customers, insulting a married man. She’s a bully and a liar and no wonder the reviews I see. I don’t know why such a person is allowed to manage a place like this and tarnish the image of this company. This is not the first time I have seen her behave or talk like this to customers. She needs training about how to relate to customers and communicate well with customers and her staff .

I don’t mind that it was late but the quality was absolutely terrible. If it was an even a little bit warm I probably could have eaten it but it was so cold it was like it was sitting on the shelf since yesterday. Absolute waste of money. food was Luke warm, chips were probably the smallest I've ever seen, soggy and hardly any cheese sauce on them.can of drink sat next to food was probably reason for Luke warm temperature. garlic bread was meant to have cheddar cheese inside not just garlic spread. no extra feta cheese in kebab,what salad there was was wrapped up and warm...probably the worst meal I've ever had, only ate 1/3rd of it..now I know why I stopped having delivery and collected...food was always hot and fresh..

Delivery took over an hour so food was cold, it's a 25 minute walk. Driver didn't knock, just hung the bag on the door handle and left.

Ordered a take out for lunch. It was disgusting total waste of money 10.50 for the OG n fries. Came back to eat to find that there was hardly any salad in the sandwich as well as old looking dry burnt meat 😩….. I pulled some out to show in pictures the quality that had been served. Looked n smelt terrible. I did wonder that when I walked in the shop kinda smelt liked burnt fat. Will not be going back has put me right offff.

We had a very bad experience. We mistakenly ordered to the wrong address and when we called the shop, no one could give us the uber guys detail and when we spoke to the him finally, he promised to deliver the order to the hospital where we work as nurses but never did. So we ordered food of £52 just to be stolen by Uber guy and the shop could not help. Very dissatisfied customer
