Joe‘s service was very attentive and the food was very delicious.

We were the only 2 people in the shop and it took 20 mins for the food to arrive. When it did the meats were stone cold. I went back and complained and got fresh ones but when it came the order was wrong. I used to love this place but it has really gone downhill.

Quite tasty chicken kebab....would recommend. Premises are modern, well furnished and clean. Reasonably quick service, though restaurant was quiet.

Service and food very good it’s just a shame that the portion sizes can be very hit and miss but they seem to be getting better, shouldn’t have to pay for extra sauce

Food very good and service was attentive. Hadnt been before and everything looked so clean and tidy. The uniforms looked very fresh. i thought it was newly opened, until i realised from a little wear on one of the seats that it couldn't be. Well done.

the kebab I order had Donna at the top and over half of the kebab especially the bottom half was all full of cabbage and lettuce...definitely not worth it

We came across the GDK (Lancaster) just by chance, and the menu looked good. My wife is not keen on spicy food, so we checked with the kitchen, who kindly offered her a small sample before purchasing. My wife is fussy, so to get a thumbs up was quite a surprise. I'm the opposite and don't mind spicy, but there were some sauce options that suited me. We ate in and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Overall, we both had a great meal, and the staff were excellent. I'd say that it was probably the best Doner that I've had in the UK. Definitely recommended.

Took more than 20 minutes for 2 small meals to be served. Only three other people eating in the shop so it wasn’t busy. Saw 5 delivery orders go out in that time to drivers, why are you serving people in the shop last…?

I get GDK all the time and Joe is the goat. Always at least 9/10. Yoghurt dip is also goat. If I had a genie ask me for 3 wishes I’d wish for doner box with flaming fries, yoghurt dip and Joe.

Absolutely excellent food with high-quality donor meat. I really loved it! The service was wonderful and welcoming, thanks to Toaha, who was very cooperative and attentive, enhancing our overall experience. One suggestion would be to consider reducing the spice level in the dishes or offering a choice for customers. I highly recommend this place! There were three of us, and we truly appreciated all the assistance we received.

As soon as I entered the restaurant the staff was extremely friendly. Especially Nivi, who helped me place my order via the app very efficiently. The food was delicious too.

Food was cold, had like 5 chips, meat was weird like mush and food tasted asif it had been sat out for hours was freezing and lit tasted awfull wouldn’t of fed my dog that wet cold mush. Verry disappointed as I’m a frequent visitor to German diner but this is not the usual Standerd of food I used to get here gone down hill massively and I won’t be eating here again.

Amazing food, everything was delicious, can’t fault anything, even their customer service was impeccable. One of staff Toaha came in and checked in with us, asked for honest reviews and made sure we were happy. Very pleased and will come back.

GDK is a nice modern establishment with a nice contemporary fast food feeling. The restaurant is clean and peaceful. We ordered an OG Kebab as well as a Dönerbox. The food was served quickly and was nice and fresh. I just wished for the bread to be softer. The choice of sauces however was very nice and very fitting of a German kebab. I would recommend it for anybody who enjoys a good quick meal in the middle of Lancaster! Keep up the good work.

The main kebab arrived completely cold so i had to reheat it, but everything else was hot so its fine

Service was atrocious, I was welcomed by the staff thinking I'm a "delivery driver" despite not being one or carrying a delivery bag. Ordered OG kebab with chips and doner box meal. The staff were very slow ordering and cooking the food. They were also very stingy with providing sauces, I asked for ketchup and he gave me 1 sauce, despite ordering 2 meals. I said I am happy to pay but the person looked at me very confused. Need improving.
