Cold chips and the kebab was small for the money i paid just not worth it. I will not be going back. And where was the extra Beef i paid for!?? Terrible.

terrible service having delivery times consistently changed and yous try to deliver my food nearly 2 hrs late and cold! very disappointing and would expect nothing less than my money back in full.

Ordered food today having heard good reviews Ordered 2 meals for £36 this was to be delivered at 13.30 at at 14.45 food had not arrived rang the shop and was told to cancell order as a driver had not come to collect it and food was not edible and to cancel thrue just eat and we would be refunded.My wife did this and cancelled the order at 15.10 a driver turned up with the food which we refused and have now been informed that we will not be getting a refund so £36 down and a very annoyed wife,won't be ordering here again

Foods so good here it’s proper scrumptious and this guy Omds one of the staff, Kamal, randomly just came and gave us food for free, guess we got lucky haha

The OG Kebab is stacked full. Absolutely amazing Kebabs. Have ordered numerous times for takeaway. The flaming fries are tasty perfect for next day reheating too. Would definitely recommend.

The food is lenga pengas (amazing!) and our server Kamal was soooo nice. He gave us chips for free and he has the best customer service.

First time I order and I got sent the wrong not happy

Food as good as always however delivery on cycle bikes in negative temperatures might be questionable. It was delivered on time , the lad was very nice and I genuinely thank couriers for working in these conditions but just eat could review their delivery boxes for winter season as food was barely warm.

I went in here for the first time today. The food was amazing. Everything I ordered had a real kick of flavour to it. The service was fast and friendly.The staff were very welcoming. This will be my go to in Sunderland town centre from now on.

Costs a little more than most but lovely food and perfect quality. Treat my kids to the kids meals and they loved it. The box designs are very cool.

All well and good but the sauce pots are so tiny it's impossible to dip anything in there then after managing to dip it twice its all gone

The GDK Donna Main is sooo lovely. That’s what I go for every time. But the GDK mixed meat of Donna/Chicken is the favourite of my two daughters. Both kebabs on delivery I have to reheat as the drivers have pedalled to my home. But reliable they are. The kebabs are worth it - every time. 15mins in a 170 Deg C seems to do the trick though.

Waited an hour an a half then when it came the chips were all over the bottom of the bag with a cold can of pop on top of them. Full meal was freezing

4hours and still waiting eventhough it say it has been delivered i still dint have my food

Very very small portion. The cost did not certainly met the expectations. Literally 5-6 pieces of donner and 15 fries(counted)!!

Food was incredible, atmosphere bombastic! Kamal was very kind and is the highlight of GDK.

missing two cans of pop, can't contact the restaurant directly as apparently you have to go through just eat and the phone line is all automated. extortion when you're paying £2.19 for one can!

Food is very nice only reason it keeps starts on quality but the portion size is a joke . We got a delux box for 2 ( share platter) and the wraps were small but the fries. Wow there were 12 fries in the bottom corner of the bag . Ment for 2 people

Top place great staff and the best wraps.

Having a beef or chicken German style kebab is a different experience to a lamb Turkish style kebab but it was absolutely amazing Served in a "hard" style shell instead of soft tortilla, you would think would make the meal seem heavy but it was actually the opposite. Felt completely full after the meal but but in a comfortable way. Highly recommend

First time ordering. The wrap was lush. didn't like that the cheesy chips were in paper instead of a box because most of the cheese got stuck to the paper but other than that it was lovely.

Fantastic, how I always wanted a kebab to be! kebab meat with salad and garlic sauce in amazing bread, not ‘slopped’ together, put together consistently, boxed in foil, great presentation, with freshly made tasty garlic sauce tub, got the mini hash browns which were perfectly crunchy, great value, outstanding!

I found discovering the menu options tricky one cannot see the menu items on their electronic ordering touch windows. You need to have a look by tapping on the picture to see if there's an explanation and then I couldn't get back so you need to come out and go back in again. I found the staff were not sympathetic to the lost customer who doesn't have a clue how the shop works or what in each menu item. I was disoriented and barked at when I asked for help. The staff had no team for slow movers or those not familiar with how it all worked. I was surprised... Don't get me wrong what I did end up with was fantastic. I loved my meal I love all things German too. And it did have a large trendy crowd in who all looked very pleased to be in there. Which is all good positive stuff.

Oredered 1st time for delivery. Food came within 20 mins. Didnt know what to expect.... its something different... food was AMAZING. TO be honest scrummy . Not greasy . All wrapped neat. Taste was out this world. Will be ordering again weekend THANKS GUYS X

Very small portions, not enough for an adult. Poor quality food. The meat content was like the scraps left over from when I have a proper kebab that I feed to the seagulls. Scrappy and very greasy. Way overpriced for what you get. My nephew only ate half of his and turned his nose up at it . Way overpriced for what you get . You’re basically paying for the rent on the property on the high street and the cost of fitting out the interior not for good food. There was a group of youths being very antisocial, shouting and cursing and the staff didn’t intervene. I’ll never go back, I can’t imagine anyone visiting more than once. The music was awful. Terrible food, horrible ambience.

We love this place! Food is good and not greasy like other places. Everytime we go (and its alot) the food is perfect! Staff are very friendly and welcoming. I cant recomend this place highly enough. If you havent tried GKD then you dont know what your missing! Always an offer on and great value for money.

Welcoming staff and a comfortable and casual dining environment. Fast service and the finest textured doner in the city. The portion sizes are generous, perfect for a satisfying meal. Moreover, available extra spices allowing to customize the flavor to suit individual's taste buds.
