Bad food bad service idiot staff no customer service and staff using mis behave with customers and delivery

Fantastic staff and quick fix, I ordered the wrong thing and they were so quick to fix this and everything tastes great / thank you so much!!

He took my phone and wrote a 5-star review without my permission. In reality, he serves low-quality food and lacks basic manners.

Food was cold on delivery again! The driver complained about how long he had to wait to be given the order, which had been there all the while! The taste of the food itself was nothing to write home about!

Amazing food, friendly service and would recommend to anyone if your feeling something turkish. 10/10

Best doner meat and chips we have had so far.

ordered 3 kebabs, 1x lamb shish and 2x lamb donar. all only got 1 salad which was lettuce, red cabbage, grated carrot. no cucumber, tomato or onion. only got 3 of the 4 sauce as ordered, and got no pitta breads with kebabs absolute rip off @ £34.66

really tasty! great wrap (they followed my order note requests perfectly), and great fries. can't complain, would order again!

first time ordering from here read the reviews and was a bit spectical but thought it's local so I'd go with it. Was delivered on time food was hot.But no salad with my meat amd chips what I paid extra for.. the Adana was tastless and no bread with it as shown and no garlic sauce as asked for food overall no to bad

Worst ever place to have food not even deserve one star i order chicken kebab with fries it was 1:00AM on saturday night guy serving there dont even know how to communicate in english he microwaved the chicken obviousley its not fresh i told him to turn on the heat roller he replies i cant otherwise chicken will burn does this make sense..he tried to charge me more than actual price on menu when i told him thats not the price he was like sorry i forget..i mean what worst place ever in gidea park dont go there i suggest you all

Twice I’ve been here and boss man has been such a pleasure to chat to, he even remembered me when welcoming me in after our first interaction a month later haha When I get back to gidea park station very late at night after a long day, it feels very homely to stop off here and grab a delicious, really well priced large chicken doner and chips. I eat lamb/chicken doner from here at least once a week. The food, ambiance, rates and customer service is just amazing. I love the customer service of this place which is hard to find these days. I would highly recommend food from here.

Useless guy couldn't understand English, had to double check with the boss paynent went through took 45 mins to make me some lamb on a monday at 4pm, no tomato and cucumber on the salad.

Honestly worst kebab I’ve ever had , I got given leftovers tonight , the bulgur rice tasted off and dry. Chicken doner was cold. I asked for a large and that was definitely not large at all still feel hungry after. Trust me better kebabs in the area, also they have Turkish in their name but owned by Bengalis 🙄

Ordered a chicken shish medium and donner wrap. Shish came with rice salad and bread all for £8! The shish was seaoned beautifully. Additionally amazing service from both server and delivery driver. I payed Apple Pay and it automatically used my old address as the delivery address. The driver delivered to my correct address and was so polite. Will definitely be my new local!

I ordered before I read the review so was a bit worried. Food arrived hot and salad was fresh and crisp. I ordered a large and for £12.99 it could have been bigger but that’s all.

Food was not nice, kofta was tasteless and undercooked tasted really bad.

Food was perfect, also loved the bread! Amazing price only £8!!! The owner was also very lovely chatty and kind. Would deffo come back again, think you guys are going to be my new after work dinner haha.

Excellent service, clean, well packaged, and high quality tasty food! I order from here regularly when I’m busy with work and can’t make time to go and collect, I’ve sat in once and got a collection a couple of times too. Almost every single time the food has hit the spot, it’s well prepared, it’s always at a good above warm temperature. If you want something specific just ask for it, if you want something fresh be mindful of the hour you’re ordering or going to get your food. Great staff, very good food. Disappointed at the low rating, cleanest and best Turkish kebab shop in town.

Kebab can be a hit and miss sometimes with dry lamb etc, but I tried this place after work and I was very impressed. I ordered lamb with chips and the portion size, taste and chis were good. I would definitely recommend you try.

Asked for well done, brown and crispy meat, with garlic sauce. Meat not well done and covered in chilli sauce. Thanks for that.

Tried this place for the first time last night. Very welcoming and a friendly service from the owner. There was a slight problem with the order, but the owner was at my door to put it right within 15 minutes. The food was excellent quality so overall I am very happy to recommend giving this place a try.

Completely disgusting and unhygienic place. My kids came of a flight with there grandparents they do not eat lamb so I ordered them chicken donner instead of the owner calling me so I could get an alternative or cancel he sent me a lamb donner which none of my family eat. Disgusting do not recommend.

Used to love the food from here but last few orders have been poor. Lamb doner didn't even look fully cooked and food wasn't even warm on delivery. Will avoid in future now!!

Not enough food for the amount charged STINGY!

This is not Turkish food. Do not order from here. Food was late and cold. We ordered a platter and the meat quality was poor and the seasoning and flavours tasted nothing like Turkish food. The curry sauce tasted like Mexican salsa. The Adana tasted like a sheek kebab from an Indian takeaway, the food barely tasted like it had been grilled and the lamb ribs had been cut into 3 pieces and were full of fat and hardly any meat. Do not order from here. Submitted a refund request as it was appalling

Felt sick after eating microwaved meat, bread and rice… food should be made fresh! After ordering a large order for a family dinner we realised there was a bacteria contamination from microwaving preheated food. The food smelt and tasted bad. We asked for a refund and gave the food back, but they refused. Absolutely poor service and food will never be eating here again.

Steer clear of this establishment. The food quality is disgusting they resort to microwaving everything, from bread to rice, and the meat! Disappointing and tasteless experience. The meat is not cooked fresh, and the salad is soggy. THIS PLACE DOESN’T EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR!

JULY 2023 I came here yesterday with my partner. We had a chicken shish and halloumi wrap. The chicken was so tender and delicious in every bite. I usually have a shish from the business opposite but Ge Turkish is so much better and better value for money. We will be back. UPDATE Jan 2024 Item missing from order when I called to tell the restaurant straight away the person on the other end was rude! Accusing me of lying and saying the items were correct. He kept talking over me and shouting at me! We have always ordered every week for months and even considered your catering services. However after that vile performance we won’t be ordering ever again. Absolutely disgusting attitude all over a drink and rice. How dare you speak to your customers like that. Disgusting

Ordered lamb iskender and calamari. I paid £5 for 3 soggy cold rings of calamari. Lamb iskender has been served part cold part hot. Bottom of the tray is stone cold. The garlic and chilli sauce taste like they’ve been sat there for years. Only decent part of the meal was the rice.

DO NOT BUY FOOD FROM THEM! ı try them for fırst and LAST time. Some meat its been burned And some of them its not cooked well So al the food its going to the been!! And not taste good its like old meat.

Ordered chicken doner wrap for home delivery the meat was hard dry and freezing cold rang them to let them know and ask if they would change it but they refused unless I went to the shop which I was unable to do not a happy customer at all

Good service. Decent taste. Very very poor presentation on take away. Ordered a lamb shish wrap, came in foil twisted at the end and not properly folded. Portion size was ok but pointless as wrap fell apart. A lot of potential to be a great business, you can do better boys

The wrap bread was a little bit soggy (maybe needs to be toasted more?) because it was packed next to my cold drink. They should put the drink in a separate bag and tie them together or have a partition. Otherwise my Chicken Donner wrap was really tasty. Big portion but I wish I could choose which elements of the salad go in as I don’t really like onions and my partner is allergic to them. The fries were nice and crispy! Delivery arrived on time.

Food was nice, wish i received the pitta bread with my hummus as that’s all I really wanted. Maybe I’ll give another chance to redeem

Shortly after I ordered my food, I got a call from GeTurkish telling me that my side was unavailable. However, they told me that they would substitute it with some Turkish bread, which cost more on the menu but they would not charge me extra. The food arrived 20 minutes early(!) and the bread was especially delicious.

Hate giving negative reviews yet I have to be honest here, ordered 4x Chicken Shish Wrap meals. On collection, i waited 5 mins, which I didn't mind, The staff were very polite and friendly. When I got home we noticed all 4 wraps were saturated in salad water, which diluted the chili sauce. The Tortilla wrap was soaking wet and the chicken was lukewarm with fatty bits. I called the staff they said thats how a wrap is prepared, if next time I order I should ask for the sauces to be separated. They did not comment on the lukewarm chicken however. I've heard some good positive reviews on this place hence took a chance, my experience wasn't good at all, doubt after this I would order again from here too.

Really good food, a shame the staff are extremely rude. I’ve never never had experienced anywhere where like it to be honest. It’s a shame because the food is so good. I only got a take away but I won’t be back.
