We ate here last week and it was once again amazing. All of our starters were first class and my calzone was one of the best I’ve ever had. Well done guys a fantastic meal in a fantastic city.

Delighted that they were able to accommodate a large group (12) at short notice. The food was outstanding and a real crowd pleaser. My guests were from around on the world and every single person how tasty the food was and the great portion size. Really fantastic food. The added bonus was the service from the staff. All the food came out together which was great, but the staff were attentive and were able to meet all requests. Credit to Zori, Piotr and Jack who are a credit to the restaurant. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to everyone when they head to Liverpool.

We were initially a little apprehensive as there was a gas problem in the kitchen. Our host was very communicative and kept us up to date with proceedings. Fortunately kitchen function was fully resolved. I had a beer before everyone arrived and found the toilets to be absolutely spotless! We had planned a mini reunion and were very glad we had chosen this restaurant. The service was faultless and humorous. Quality of food was excellent. The lunch menu options pleased everyone. I would be happy to return and perhaps stay at the hotel next time.

We came here Friday night and couldn't fault our experience. Tge food was amazing. Very tasty and our waiter was very attentive. Top marks. Highly recommend, however I did want the lasagne but none left.?? Our booking was 8.30 so a bit disappointed, so opted for the wild boar for mains which was very nice. The starters where absolutely lovely. I had parma ham bruschetta.

Visted first and last time 30th December 2024. Almost totally ignored by the staff behind bar, yes its a great place, but was treat like I was invisible. Appaling. The guy eventually decided to talk to me reluctantly and I only asked how you order drinks. He was around 40 I would guess, very unfriendly, total attitude. I was quietly fuming tbh. Eventually he kind of explained we should sit at a table and then we sat another long 5 - 10 minutes to get anyone coming over asctheyvwalked pastvlots and could see we hadvnobglasses on the table, even though it was empty again just ignored. Every so often a glass would be smashed behind the bar. Just felt so unprofessional all round. Shame as its a beautiful place. Drinks were nice and the lady member of staff was actually decent with us.. We didn't get food but not sure I'd trust my life with these lot.

Just want to start by saying I have never ever left a review on any place before now. But this simply cannot go without being addressed. Extremely disappointing experience on New Year’s Eve. We had a table booked for 21:30. We arrived half an hour early, so we approached the host stand to let them know we had arrived early, to which the host asked us to take a seat at the bar as our table was not yet ready. We purchased a cocktail each and took a seat at the bar but a few moments later we were asked to come back to the host stand as our table was now ready. This is when things went sour. We were met by an extremely rude host who put it across as a pay up front for the nye special (£105 per person). We stated that we weren’t sure that we had booked the New Year's special but as one of our party was gluten-free, we were hoping to order off the gluten free menu like we have on visits prior to this one. Now we had paid a £40 deposit but our email never stated anything about a set menu or anything it included so we began to ask questions on what it would include ( especially for someone who is gluten free ). The host instantly became defensive and aggressive, stating that we should have told them beforehand that my girlfriend was gluten free and explained that we had to have the food from the set menu whether it was gluten free or not. My girlfriend explained that she can’t just have anything because she has coeliac disease and would have let them know previous if she had known about the set menu. The host then said “ well you can have salmon” in a condescending tone. We asked to be changed to the normal menu; the host informed us this is not possible so we must pay the £200+ bill upfront. Note* the hostess was being very aggressive at this point. So, I reluctantly paid as we did not want to spoil the evening, and my girlfriend was becoming increasingly uncomfortable because of how the host was treating us. The host then told us to sit on the couches and wait. A little while later she came back over and asked if our booking was “Megan Williams” ? We said no. (She also asked this earlier to which we also said no!) Turns out she charged us for someone else's meal!! She believed we had already had our meal? Which makes no sense considering we was asking about switching to different menus! She continued to be extremely rude and aggressive, to try shift the blame to us? When it was clearly her fault. She said “ I'm sorry this happened but you did say you were Megan Williams” to which we both said “no we did not”. why would we say we were someone else? She then refunded the money (takes 2/5 days for it to return. Keep in mind I still had to pay for our meal on top of this) and then was told we could switch to the gluten free menu as an apology and a treat! I am still failing to understand how she got this so wrong. I am also failing to understand how being given the opportunity to eat gluten free food as someone who cannot eat anything else without becoming extremely ill is a treat! The only saving grace from this experience was our waiter. We never got his name but he was very helpful and went the extra mile to make us finally feel welcome. The food took well over an hour to arrive, (which made us late for our sky bar booking). But when it did arrive it was very good. Still the whole experience was tainted by one very rude hostess. We understand that mistakes can happen, especially on a night as busy as New Year’s Eve. But to only receive an apology from her where she still accused us of making a mistake was simply not good enough.

Our waiter Mubariz and barman Martin were very welcoming. Even though we had not booked they gave us a window seat and suggested a few food choices. We had a few cocktails, some lovely food and nice chats. Would definitely visit again. Mo and Martin are a credit to the company.

Before I start, I want to disclose that I’m a man that regularly enjoys a Rustler burger, so I wouldn’t say I hold the highest of standards when it comes to nourishment. I’m easily pleased. So for me to be displeased enough to leave a review, that should ring alarm bells. Me and my partner had the misfortune tonight of eating in this restaurant. The service was slow and the starters were bland but we persevered. The main course for me was breadcrumbed chicken with stuffed tomato and pesto. It was burnt to a crisp and tasted like a Bernard Matthews escalope. I sent a picture to the dog and he turned his nose up at it. This was £25 on its own may I add, not a chip or salad in attendance. Insanely expensive yet utterly tasteless and disappointing.

We had dinner at their restaurant and unfortunately the experience was not satisfactory at all. Below I detail the inconveniences we encountered during our visit: Table Placement: Even though the restaurant had 90% of the tables empty, we were assigned a table next to a large group without giving us any option to choose from. This was uncomfortable and surprised us given the availability of tables. Problems with service: We were served our dinner with a lack of communication between the waiters. Even though there were only four tables occupied, we saw seven different waiters pass by our table. Every time a new one came, there seemed to be no information on what we had ordered as we were asked to repeat our choices. Delay in desserts: After picking up the main dishes, 20 minutes passed without being attended to. Finally, they brought the dessert menu, when they had already taken our note previously. However, soon another waiter arrived with the same menu, repeating the process. The result was that it took us a total of 35 minutes from the second course to receiving the desserts. Lack of customer service: It seemed that the staff was more focused on closing the shift and preparing the tables for breakfast than on offering adequate attention to customers. This lack of focus and organization clearly affected our experience. We understand that there may be times of high demand, but we believe that these types of situations should not occur, especially with so few tables occupied. I would like to express my concern about the lack of coordination and customer service we experienced.

The service was beyond slow how ever the food was fresh and the staff where friendly but waiting to be seated took ten minuets and then waited over twenty minuets for some one to take our drink order. Over all it was an underwelming experience and we wouldn't choose to go there again

A wonderful time Saturday evening. The service was first class fantastic. Special thanks to Amy (blonde waitress) who was friendly and super helpful. Angelica (black jacket) who was kind & knowledgeable. The team were backed by Francesco who led with love and loyalty to his restaurant. My partner ordered a fillet steak and asked for it medium rare, when arrived well it was basically still alive, so we asked for it be cooked longer and my partner then asked for it to be medium well this time (which the waiter confirmed with us, we waited for the second one to arrive and when it came back again he cut it open and it was still completely raw on the inside, naturally he wasn’t happy and decided he couldn’t be bothered asking again. The waiter came over when he saw it hadn’t been eaten and said “what’s wrong with it now” and my partner replied I asked for it medium well and it’s the exactly the same as last time, obviously annoyed now as he was hungry and it was our anniversary, the waiter then said that is medium rare which is what I have on the ticket and my partner responded I asked for it medium well the second time which you confirmed and it’s come back still breathing again. Overall the situation wasn’t handled very well at all and although they took it off the bill, we won’t be going back. Overall - long wait times, expensive, mediocre food, rude staff and no apologies. Update - contacted the venue as per the request in the comment below and as a general email. I didn't get any response. I'm unclear whether it was a meaningful request or for show. Booked drinks at the Sky Bar and then the restaurant. In one hour, only got served drinks twice even after the waiting staff said they'd take our order. At one point a waitress walked our drinks to the wrong table, gave up and left them on the side without even trying to work out who's they were. By the time we got them, the staff didn't know which drinks were which. The music was really loud and the place half empty. Despite booking and being called (while we were in the Sky Bar) to check we were turning up, the mains took over two hours to arrive. At no point did the staff apologise. When the mains food arrived, it was poor quality and cold. The starters were nice. When one of the drinks tasted off, we asked for a replacement and are pretty sure they gave us the same drink back, even after asking what we would like to replace it with. When I went to talk to the staff about the slow and rude service, I was given a shrug and told "well what do you expect, we had over 250 bookings". When I said that maybe suggests you should book fewer meals to improve service, I once again got a shrug. I was hoping for some apology or discount. Only positive I can say is that because they took so long, we were able to catch up and saved ourselves money on the expensive drinks and dessert because no one wanted to serve us.

Absolutely awful. Went for afternoon tea they ran out of tea leaves and tea bags. Bread was stale. Scones rock hard( they are supposed to be served with jam and fresh cream. They had no jam or fresh cream. tiramisu desert cream was sour ( after checking twice with the waiter and floor manager, did it have alcohol and told NO. I spoke to the actual manager two later by phone, and she said it's laced with liqueur. It was served to my 14 year old who had a sick stomach afterwards, and we thought it was because of the cream. We bekieve now ut was sour cream abd liquer made him ill. Although I complained to the floor manager on the day who promised me a full refund ( it's a prepaid lunch), the spoken to a very obnoxious manager 2 days later who told me she won't be refunding me. It really was the worst lunch with the worst service I have experienced. The right photo us whst they promise on their menu. The left is what you get!!! With stale bread rockhard scones and sour cream liqueur laced tiramisu.

We used the Afternoon Tea option, the place is very nice, there is a view of the whole city. The Afternoon Tea menu includes unlimited tea, sandwiches, traditional buns and quite a lot of things for dessert, in general the dishes are pleasant, without frills. Overall, a good place specifically for Afternoon Tea, a pleasant experience is guaranteed.

I visited ginos for dinner with a group of girlfriends then headed up to the sky bar for drinks. My drink took a long time to arrive but full credit to the lovely lady, I think she was the manager who sorted it. There was also an accident involving drinks but the way it was handled was brilliant. Accidents happen and whilst it resulted in a damp outfit it did not ruin the night thanks to the staff and how they dealt with it. Will definitely return

That should be best in a Italian restaurant. My partner had burger presentation was none.Bit lettuce and tomato. That's not someone who cares 🙄. Staff very nice but disappointed. We visited Gino SkyBar 360 on Saturday, the 10th of August to celebrate my birthday. We had superb service from our waiter Denys. It was a busy day at the sky bar but service was excellent. We ordered from the menu and had three delicious dishes - Bruschetta, Italian bread and Barata cheese. The food was light, fresh And extremely tasty. Fantastic afternoon With the best drinks in Liverpool! Thank you again, Denys, You are fantastic! Also huge thanks to Tia For the complimentary birthday drink, It really made me feel very special. On visiting the Gino D’ Campo 360 Sky Bar many times the customer service and experience of the team, particularly Tia and Kris exceeds any we have recieved in any other bar in Liverpool. On arrival you are met by the girls at the restaurant desk who always make you feel welcome with a smile and a greeting. They walk you to the lift and always ask after you and your day. On arrival into the Gino D’ Campo 360 Sky Bar you are met by the hosts who welcome you and show you to your seat. Having visited many many times they know where we like to sit and always go out of their way to accommodate. If Tia or Kris are on duty they will without exception come over and greet us like we are old friends. The team behind the bar work relentlessly to create some of the best cocktails in the city. Everyone of the team are not just staff but hospitality ambassadors for the Gino D’ Campo 360 Sky Bar. Keep doing what you are doing. 🥂

The 360 Sky Bar offers panoramic views of Liverpool, but the food and service left much to be desired. Many dishes were underwhelming, with the red pepper dip lacking flavor, potatoes being basic new potatoes, and the crispy pork belly being more charred than crispy. The cocktails were also mediocre, and the loud music made conversation difficult. On a positive note, the king prawn bruschetta was delicious, and the views were impressive despite some obstructions. However, we ended up going elsewhere for a proper meal.

We visited the Skybar at Ginos. We didn’t order any food but the drinks were lovely and the views of our beautiful city are amazing. Our waiter Callum was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the cocktails.

Cocktails at sky bar were great but service was shocking, 1st order missed so ordered again took 45 mins. Ordered 2nd round of drinks and again forgotten. We had to order our drinks 4 times to receive 2 drinks.

Beautiful place but the bald waiter with the terrible Jordan tattoo behind his ear was so arrogant. Clearly couldn't be bothered to serve us.

The views are incredible from this bar. However, service is questionable. Waiter forgot one of our orders and we had to call him back twice to remind him a drink was missing, then the wrong drink was brought over. He was apologetic and gave the table all a glasses of prosecco. Generally very slow to keep drinks topped up and table cleaned. Also a couple of drinks were mistakenly added to our bill so make sure you check your tab before paying. Cocktails were nice but the wait and having to remind staff for 20 mins that a drink was missing took away from the atmosphere. Plus it's quite expensive. A bit disappointing overall, however the views are beautiful of Liverpool.

Any visit to Liverpool isn't complete without a visit to the skybar. Book ahead, ensuring you get a table, and that you're recognised. Then you're escorted to the elevator for the top floor. Everywhere is clean and tidy, stunning layout and decor. You can see the mersey estuary, River, docks, football grounds, city centre, views in all directions. Highly recommended not only as a well stocked bar with great cocktails, but as an experience in itself too.

Treated ourselves to afternoon tea today, as a treat to our friend, who was visiting from Goa India. The venue is top class, with stunning views of Liverpool & the waterfront. The service was good. The only negative which is subjective, is we all felt the food ! although excellent, was to top heavy with sweet food, the ratio is probably 80/20% sweet over Savoury. Apart from that we enjoyed our couple of hours.

Visited in March this year for afternoon tea and my wife and I had a lovely time , both with the food and the service Returned this week with the wife for afternoon tea a birthday present from my daughter. We were shown to our seats and waited in anticipation for this wonderful afternoon tea , It came looked really nice until we were informed “ no cream for your scones sorry but we’ve given you more butter “ Below the restaurant there are local supermarkets which probably would have sold some sort of cream , but this may have been an oversight by the restaurant management Unfortunately we won’t be returning. Some may feel this is a simple mistake that could be overlooked But until I see afternoon tea on a menu , which doesn’t include cream i stand by my comments

What can I say came here for my 50th birthday what an amazing night the staff went above and beyond for me a signed booked not by Gino unfortunately lol but the team signed it the food was amazing and the service was outstanding me being a chef it’s great to be on the other side but tonight was first class already planning our lunch on Saturday before we leave

Casa Italia had been recommended to us as a must and we were not disappointed. We had expected to queue as it was a Friday evening, (20 minutes) but the restaurant was definitely worth the wait. It was everything we had wished. Great food, a great atmosphere and excellent service. A big thank you to Callum whose service was excellent. Friendly and attentive even though the restaurant was very busy. We will definitely return when we are next in Liverpool
