Go shawarma is a very cute little restaurant with homemade arabic food. I ordered a falafel wrap and fries - it was enormously delicious. I would definitely recommend going there.

'Go Shawarma' is a very small takeaway situated on a busy road in Preston, Lancashire, UK. It is that small, that you could probably reach your arms from wall to the other. However, there is a small side bit by the wall on the left hand side as you enter, with some high stools for seating if you're to quickly eat in. I would describe it as a small gem in the Lancashire area, if you're a fan of Middle-Eastern food such as Shawarma and Falafel. It has a small menu and is situated on a small premises, but the food is of high quality and taste. The Lamb and Chicken Shawarmas taste nice and are fresh, and if you like salad included with your food, there is a generous selection of salad too. I would personally recommend a Shawarma Wrap from Go Shawarma.(Lamb and/or Chicken) It is served with salad of your choice (Lettuce, Onions, Tomatoes, Gherkins, Olives, Jalapenos, etc) and with sauce of your choice. I would usually add a bit of chill/garlic sauce to a Shawarma but here, I'd recommend Tahina (Yoghurt based sauce) that actually compliments the food. It is common to be asked if you'd like some Chips added into your Shawarma wrap, and Chips do go well with it. This is the first place that I've ever drank something recommended to me called Ayran after my meal. It is a salted Yoghurt based drink that's refreshing after a Shawarma and does well for the meat in your stomach. When visiting Turkey in February 2019, I drank a lot of Ayran with my food. It's healthier than Coke or Pepsi. Each time I've visited Go Shawarma since I discovered it whilst walking down Friargate in Preston, I've enjoyed the food and service. The Shawarma is tasty and high quality. You don't be left with any bad after-taste and an upset stomach as the food here is nice. The service is friendly and quick. The establishment is small and the menu is small but the food is delicious. If you're visiting Preston and are feeling Middle-Eastern food like Shawarma and Falafel, then Go Shawarma!

BrewDog style industrial beer hall. Amazing selection of draft Craft Beer - probably the best selection in Preston at the moment. A bit difficult to find at first hidden behind Friargate but with the hunt. Definitely on the list for future visits into town.
