Me and my partner order from here every week. The food is absolutely delicious, the prices are very reasonable, the staff are very friendly and the delivery service is quick. I cannot fault golden fish. Keep up the good work guys

Tonite i ordered beef in black bean sauce with green peppers and a portion of chips at 10pm it was at my house by 10.20pm on a Fri nite! Brilliant!! Staff are lovely on the phone and food is beautiful. I don't always order the same and everything I've ordered is great everything. Defo won't go anywhere else !!!

I’m sorry to say I have had two poor meals since new owners. Also won’t take a debit card, very dodgy.

Wow! This place has really really gone down hill since the last time I used it. Got the walking home from the pub munchies (8pm) and thought I'd order my old favourite of chips and curry sauce in the tray and a large spring roll... While waiting I picked up a menu, as I was thinking of changing Chinese as the Dragon i is now pretty poor. Anyway, after shelling out 6 quid and waiting 5 mins it came out. Refried chips with a teaspoon of curry sauce somewhere conjealed at the bottom, and a spring roll that would've been small for a hobbit. Well if you can't give me the respect when I'm ordering the small things I'll take my monthly £100 order elsewhere. Seriously!? Who refries chips?! They were dry, withered and disgusting. Binned.

Had a Delivery from here last week. I can't complain as it was totally perfect. Had yummy bbq spare ribs. An Char sui chow mein. I totally enjoyed both. Though took my 2 days to finish them lol. I used to order from Golden fish as a teenager. Yet I'm a mom of 3 an grandma of 3 aswell now. So it's nice to know it still exsists an food still so yummy. Will defo order again from here soon

Had one week before second week what a load of s…t yet again takeaway disappointment stick to what you know don’t bother

Absolute disgusting I waited an hour as they said it was being cooked fresh I can’t even bite into my crispy shredded beef! I can only eat the prawn toast as rest of meal is inedible. Complained to the shop and met with silence

Great food. Prices are fair, food is great, delivery ain't too long and nice friendly staff. Spare ribs are the best I have had from any outlet I have been to, you get 4 ribs but they are always full of meat unlike other places where you get 6 but they have hardly any meat on them. Best chicken and sweetcorn soup that we have ever had before, chowmein is good and not dry at all with loads of flavour and the free prawn crackers are always nice and crispy. Have other things too with no problems or complaints at all. Highly recommended with 2 extra stars 😉 **

Tonight is the first time I’ve use Thai Chinese and i can honestly say that it’s the BEST Chinese I’ve ever had !!! Will be using again. Highly recommend x

Food is always superb. I've noticed a bit of a wait for a delivery but I usually phone order and collect. Never had a problem at all. And as most Chinese they only take cash.

Worst chow mein I've ever had all noodles no chicken or vegetables gone down hill

On Sunday 5th September we ordered the biggest takeaway ever ! It cam to nearly £100 to feed 10 people approx . The food was brilliant and we were extremely pleased to say the least , it was promptly delivered within in hour of ordering it and everything was very tasty and piping hot when it arrived . Thank you very much indeed !

Best Chinese in Stourbridge quick delivery and very satisfying. Friendly customer service. Been living in the area for a few months and every time we order it just seems to get better. Just ordered two beef curries with chips omg how old are the chips rock hard cold what a let down £12.20 shame the curry was good but if the to go with is bad don't bother if you want yesterday's food

Had lovely Chinese tonight from here usually go to dragon I but very disappointed last time so gave this ago and it was definitely worth 5 stars it was on time massive portions in comparison very hot so didn't need the microwave and it was cheaper so definitely my favourite takeaway

Decided to try about 2 years ago after recommendations and a couple of disappointing deliveries from a high street takeaway. So glad we did, wouldn’t go elsewhere now. Always good quality food and great service whether delivery or collection. This was where my parents and grandparents collected from when I was a kid so I probably should have just continued the tradition.

Ordered the beef and green peppers in black bean sauce, beef curry and egg fried rice. We both wanted our beef sliced thinly. The meals arrived and the beef was excellent ,sliced just how we like it and very tender. The egg fried rice was good , not greasy , very light and tasty.Glad we decided to try The Golden Fish and will definitely be ordering from there again. Thank you.

In my opinion the best chinese in the area, just a shame they dont take card payments

The food is lovely but delivery is very slow.Ordered at 7:30 and it's now 9:00pm and i'm still waiting!Just rang and told that the food is being prepared and would be the next delivery out when the driver returned.Staff very polite but should avoid giving people a 1 hour delivery time if it's not going to happen.A great shame as the food is so nice.

Best duck curry in the West Midlands.

I love it here. I don't really understand why it keeps getting bad reviews. Delicious food and awesome choice (cheaper that others in my area) . I would recommend for them to get a card machine but other than that, it's fab. Would come back again. :)

Good food. Always seems to be a little waiting in the shop when you have ordered over the phone and you go to pick it up. I think they make it once you get there? Might as well just order in shop in the first place as it takes just as long a wait anyway. Dropped a star because of that, but staff friendly and food decent

Our new ‘go-to’ take-away. Previously gone to another local restaurant but it’s gradually been going down to he pan so needed to find a regular place. Golden Fish is it! Fresh, good food served quickly - although we’ve only collected, never had delivery. Recommended.

Accommodated my request for tofu dish without seafood or oyster sauce. Prompt service and quality meal. Will return.

I haven't eaten any Chinese food as good as this anywhere. It all tastes very fresh and is well prepared. The staff are always friendly and it has the highest food hygiene rating. They only take cash though so be prepared.

Better now than it has been for years. Steve was Fab. But Wendy and cough a lot were rubbish. Just wish they had everything online. I've been going there ever since I can remember. And I'm 40. I remember dave before he moved down hagley to the rickshaw. So pleased they've introduced deliveries. Just online and card payments now please!

Bit apprehensive trying the golden fish, my family had used this take away for 40 years, but sadly it had to change hands and got mixed reviews. We heard it had recently changed hands again and people were saying it was good, so we took a chance. Not disappointed! The chicken yuk sung was lovely. The chicken with ginger and spring onion equally so. Husband and son loved the Chow Mein, little too greasy for me, but still tasty. We couldn't eat the mixed veg curry, too full, the portions are generous and there are free prawn crackers. would recommend!

Tried the golden fish tonight for the first time and we were not disappointed, we had yuk sung and ribs to start, then Singapore chow meins and fried rice, sweet and sour chicken and some curry sauce 👍 We all really enjoyed our food and they quoted 45 mins delivery but we're here in 25 which was great for a Saturday evening! This won't be our last time 🙌🏼

Decidimos darle el Golden Fish cerraba una prueba para nuestra entrega curry como nuestro habitual china por dos semanas. Agradable curry único inconveniente era que la salsa es un poco de lo que son thiner acostumbrados pero en general un buen pollo al curry y patatas bonito recién cocinado.

Changed hands a little while ago. Would not recommend it anymore. Won't be using it again. Used to be lovely and 5 star when Wendy was there.

I have been a regular with the golden fish for over 10 years and visit at least once a month and I have never been disappointed, I have never managed to find a better chinese takeaway anywhere.You can see how busy they always are despite not offering a delivery service because the food and service is just that good.Lovely people who work there as well which makes all the difference.

My family use this take away every Saturday! It is by far the best take away around, the lady who works there is lovely, the food is always delicious and of a uniform standard every time we go, always piping hot and it is clear good quality ingredients are used.The time orders take are very reasonable although if It is busy you may have to wait a little as they do get a number of telephone orders but this is understandable as the food is just that good!I wouldn't waste your money going any where else go to the golden fish in lye (Stourbridge) right now!!!

Used for years, always high quality and always busy. Arriving one night as they were locking up ( we had been delayed) they reopened and cooked for us - now that is what you call service

I've used this takeaway on many occasions its still one of the best in the area!The staff are always friendly but most important of all the food from there is lovely with generous portions too!

They have very good chinese food at reasonable prices.
