Gooey Waffle in Hillingdon

Really soft & bubble waffle type feel rather than the standard circle one. I had mine with Nutella sauce, strawberries, smarties & sprinkles for £8.95.

I ordered Oreo cookie dough and I can honestly say this is the worst cookie dough I have ever had the misfortune to taste. It is the most crumbly, dry, disgusting cookie dough ever I am very disappointed. The only redeeming factor was the scoop of ice cream that did taste quite nice however it in no way makes up for it. As well as this, they had the audacity to give me a horribly small portion. I genuinely feel offended that they thought it was good enough for delivery and if I was in store, I would walk right up to the counter and demand a refund.

Absolutely delicious! A great place to take the kids to and let's not forget the parents as well 😁 We will definitely be returning customers.

During my summer visit to London, I had the pleasure of discovering [Gooey Waffle ], and it was truly a delightful experience. Nestled in a charming part of the city, this cozy spot instantly won me over with its inviting atmosphere and warm, friendly staff.

The service is so bad. The guy with beard rushed the order and cocked it up. Not again.

Amazing service by Muhammed today, he was able to handle my concerns for my childrens allergies. Muhammed went above and beyond to insure that fresh fruits were used to avoid any cross contamination. My kids were able to dine in and enjoy their desserts.🍨 Thank you.

I came today at 2pm. I was waiting and nobody came. One girl seating outside which is unacceptable. We choose this one but we ate at creams…I know now why was empty inside but in creams 3 people want to help me.

Disgraceful Asked for a chocolate ice cream and told 2.75 a scoop then after putting in a cone said additional 1,pound for the cone. Won't be back here in a hurry. Real rip off.

Delicious food,love eating In here and having a takeaway from here,food is always great.Nice restaurant!I had the create your own sundae with blue bubblegum,vanilla and salted caramel ice cream,all flavours were so delicious.I also had it with mixed caramelised nuts and Nutella which were delicious and added a warming sense to my sundae which was pleasant and did not ruin any of the ice cream because the temperature was so perfect.The melon,after eight,cream and pomegranate was delicious too.All so lovely and fresh,on point delivery.Can’t recommend enough!Good for my gluten allergy too,would recommend this over creams any day if you are gluten free.

It used to be a lovely place where used to enjoy yummy waffles and milkshakes. No anymore, be prepared to get rotten strawberries with hardly any fruits in your waffles. Staff it doesn’t seem to care anymore beginning with the manager.

Today I visited the store with my parents I usually visit this store often . They have the most disgusting customer service . I always ignored it . Today when I was with my parents I orders scoop of cream , he gave me very uneven scoops I asked like it looks uneven he showed me very bad attitude even mummer something ! I am manger in a deserts shop too I know how to scoop When I was leaving I addressed the issue to him still his attitude was so bad , I came there for nice experience not some moody man serving me . His name was Snehal He didn’t apologise even once .m

The deserts are amazing. My daughter loves coming here, but the staff never smiles or says, "Hi, how are you?" The girl behind the counter is very rude. But apart from all that, the desserts are great.

I ordered on Uber Eats and I have to say this place is amazing, The presentation was beautiful. It was fresh strawberry gelato that came with the cookie dough that I got was so fresh and creamy. Big brands such as creams don’t compare to places like this. The presentation flavour and customer service is 10/10 definitely recommend and will be ordering again !!

Yeah if I wanted to open a waffle shop, I'd definitely be trying to emulate this place. Not exactly a cheap snack but definitely worth the bit extra for the quality

Friendly staff and tasty ice cream.

I visit this place often but today the customer service delivered today was absolutely disgusting by one of their staff members named Kanishka. She was making horrible faces while I was doing my order, couldn’t even make a crepe properly! If someone is not able to do one job that they have to do and are being paid for then i don’t think she should be working in that place!! Terrible customer service!!!

We only had ice cream cornets.....was very nice. Large place and nearly empty when we were there. Lots of choice for flavours

Such a lovely place. You can make your own waffle with different varieties of topping and chocolate. There's coffee too. The coffee is not the best though

The worst cookie dough I have ever had. It was uncooked with sugar crystals in every bite. The staff didn't even change it upon complaint.

I recently visited this Shop and had a very good experience. The desserts were undeniably delicious, and the portion sizes were just right. The shop itself was clean, and the staff were very polite during my visit. One of the staff member was really amazing. Overall 5 star experience. Must visit

So I was here with the family. They have vast variety of ice creams and also have vegan options for lactose people. Gracillia is very helpful. Big thumbs up for team gooey waffle. I'll visit again soon :) Keep up the good work.

Quality of food is well here but service is totally poor as staff here is not allowing to have food in shop, shop timing is till 11'o clock we visited before 10:35 and they are asking for takeaway. This is totally poor service from staff.

We had a home delivery tonight, our first order and omg absolutely fantastic. I had a waffle which was a good size and looked lovely, I'm really impressed and will definitely be ordering again.

Hmmm it was ok but not amazing. They don't have free WiFi. I found the preparation of the food was too slow. The waffle was cold!!!!!! I think if they played some music it would improve the atmosphere. The staff didn't seem happy.

I used to be a regular customer and absolutely loved this place, however it seems like the quality went downhill. I’ve ordered a classic waffle and it was horrendous. Dry, cold, barely any fruit and full of baking soda (that was the only thing I could taste) I’ve ordered through Deliveroo and thankfully i got a partial refund for the order. Unfortunately i will not be ordering again

Good quality but misleading charges

First time visiting Gooey it has a wide variety of desserts including waffles, crepes and sundaes with many options for different sauces, toppings, fruits and ice cream. You have the option to choose a dessert of their menu or create your own. 🧇 I created my own waffle which was £8.50 and had kinder bueno sauce, strawberries, kinder pieces and fudge pieces. The waffle was thinner than a standard Belgium waffle but was perfectly cooked and not dry. Overall it was a very nice dessert place and would come back again. However due to my chosen toppings it was too sweet and sickly so if you do not have a big sweet tooth please keep this in mind. ⭐️Very kind staff who wrote our names on the dessert which was a nice touch. ⭐️As there was only one staff member working we was waiting for 10-15 minutes to get served.

Pathetic and slow service, female staff was rude upon just requesting politely to please take the order as I was waiting for a long time and had a child with me. Never going back here! The manager should be replaced he is racist.

Such a superb place for dessert. We went at 9pm on a Friday and loved the food and music. Great crepes and waffles with amazing choice of fillings and ice creams. Can't wait for our next visit!

The place was easily found and not too far from Uxbridge high street. Inside good eating was available and they did had outdoor seating too. It's a good place for sweet treats they had a good selection of gelato and vegan icecreams. They also had crepes and waffles, we had crepe with chocolate and icream it was delicious and portion size was good. Their cold coffee was good. The serving staff was very good helpful and friendly served customer with smile. She let us taste the flavours of the icecream before to help us decide which flavour to buy. Overall good experience and would recommend this place.

Service appalling, 2 or 3 members of staff thought it more important to have s chat then service delivery drivers whilst leaving our half prepped order go cold, when I then reminded them I has ordered hot items I was told that it should still be warm enough! To which we left and went elsewhere.. customer service useless

Lovely dessert parlour, clean place and quite open and welcoming. The vibe is very nice and relaxing. Their waffles are very yummy better than Creams. Kids enjoyed their yummy bubblegum ice creams as well as crepes and waffles.

It's an amazing ice cream place and all I want I to come here other than the other ice cream places The strawberry sorbet was so good!

when we visit we find their doors were close we were about to go but we read timing on their door amd find we are in time we knock on door and staff opens door for us I had a word with her and said if you guys keep your doors shut customer will return with out serve and you guys gone lost profit everthing was food were fresh and good staff nice environment and lighting amazing

I genuinely loved it so much. I think its the best cookie dough ive ever had and im a big dessert guy so Ive eaten a lot of cookie dough but this one was special. The size of the cookie dough is big, and then they add a choice of chocolate on top and then any choice of ice cream u want. It was so so tasty and big i couldnt eat it by myself ao had to share it with others.

My brother and I visited Gooey to indulge in a waffle and a couple of milkshakes. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory, starting with the service we received when we placed our order. As I was placing my waffle order, a larger woman interrupted the process and asked how many waffles I wanted. I informed her that I only wanted one waffle, but she then proceeded to ask my brother what he wanted, despite me not having finished my order. This was a shocking experience for me since I was still in the process of ordering, and she had already moved on to my brother. After paying, I requested Biscoff syrup for my milkshake, and a younger lady confirmed that she could add it. However, a man with one eyebrow told me that they didn't have Biscoff syrup, only paste for waffles. Although I was willing to settle for the paste, my frustration grew when I saw a woman next to me order Biscoff syrup with her waffle. When I asked if I could add the syrup to my milkshake and pay extra, the staff refused, stating that they needed to adhere to the milkshake menu. The younger lady who served us as we walked in and took our payment was lovely but continued to get overruled by the other staff which wasn’t good for customers to witness. The waffle itself was enjoyable, but the poor service left a sour taste in our mouths. Next time, we will be going to Creams next door for better service.

Great ice cream, definitely the best on Uxbridge with few unusual but truly delightful flavours. On top of that customer service is just perfect: bubbly, smily and very welcoming - just the type you can imagine for ice cream parlour. We visited this morning just after opening for cheeky Sunday breakfast of hot waffles and it was perfect - with huge thanks to presumably Italian lady who serves us with big smile. Forget about other place down the road (the one with grumpy employees ;) ) and just visit Gooey Waffle, you will not regret it

Great place, friendly staff too! The waffles are very well-made and the fruit toppings are far better than going to a certain other dessert place and having more unhealthy options for toppings. The name written in chocolate is a very nice touch to the dessert. The perfect place for a date, especially if you sit in the booth.

We went here for the first time and tried my life’s first crepe. It was really delicious but as a customer i was expecting more help from the staff in selecting what should i eat. I asked them i want something crunchy still they gave me crepe wish they suggested me a waffle🤞 no worries next time ❤️❤️

Tried the waffles and ice cream, they were both very nice. The place is clean and spacious, the downside unfortunately were the staff behind the counter. They were very polite yet not smiling or welcoming at all, and their voices were very low so hard to have any communication regarding the orders.

Surprisingly delightful! Stopped by for ice cream - so glad I went here! I was going to drive to Baskin but no regrets!! Polite staff!! Helpful!! Generous!! Creams a few stores down is a pale reflection of this place! You must try this place at least once!! THANK YOU!!!

Very tasty, had a make-your-own waffle and large gelato shake for about £12. The waffle was thinner but tasted nicer than the waffles at Creams. Good amount of toppings as well. Delicious and thick shake. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Felt much more spacious than Creams. Would likely go again.

They have the loveliest staff. So friendly and helpful. One lady in particular, she was so helpful and nice, she wrote our names on the place, it was such a nice touch. Our waffles and milkshakes were so so so good! The decor in the place is so cool and it’s so clean and tidy.

Brilliant dessert place near Premier Inn! We are staying at the premier inn for the weekend and a friends wedding. I fancied some desserts the first night and it was so good we went back the second night. I'm hoping that they make their gelato themselves but I don't know so would love to know if someone does?! However, the most incredible gelato I've ever had and even plenty of vegan flavours. My husband is dairy free and normally has two options of biscoff and oreo, so to have plenty of flavours to choose from is amazing!! Only negative is that our second trip on Saturday night we were served by a lady. My husband asked if the strawberry was dairy free and she said 'I don't know'. He asked three times if she could find out and she didn't bother until he finally said his flavours and said "I want the strawberry so can you actually ask someone please?" She seemed very uninterested in providing good customer service and walked off to check in a slump. Other than this shocking customer service the actual product was incredible! 6 scoops each over 2 days says so!!

We are frequently a customer at gooey waffle and the food is normally good even if a little pricey but we ordered a waffle to home and the banana was rock hard and had been left out for a long time . The strawberry was sloop basically bottom of the bowl . And the ice cream scoop was tiny very very disappointed.

Very nice desserts, possibly better than creams. Not as organised though. It would be great if they could look at Creams to see how to streamline their customer service model Ice-creams and waffles were great. Ordered the Nutty Delight sundae which was excellent

AMAZING PLACE!! The waffles are delicious and done for you quickly. The staff are very friendly and kind. I am 100% coming to this place on a regular basis. Its a good place to chill with friends or even for a date. The whole atmosphere and decor is beautiful.

Big waffle and creperie in the middle of Uxbridge town. Despite how crowded it was on Sunday evening, the staff was very friendly and served us with all the love!

My experience was lovely, the place is beautiful, fun and the waffles do keep their name. It was the yummiest and most gooey waffle we ever had. And you can customize your sauces, toppings and flavors of ice cream, making it more fun. And the man wrote my name on the plate, that was v cute too. But it was a bit too sweet and filling so I suggest sharing a plate. Must try!
