I often cycled past this little place & the coffee has always smelt nice & the food looked great so took my mum for a light lunch & what great friendly service & made to feel so welcome, we both had panini’s which were lovely with plenty of filling & crisps & a latte, very nice & will definitely be going back again so well done Gossip staff X

If you need that hard to find card or helium balloon this place will have it. They can even help with customising a card. Wide range of related party decorations and lots of small gifts too. Plus a great café servicing hot and cold drinks, tasty cakes and range of sandwiches etc. The staff and owners are very friendly and you can usually find somewhere to park outside. Well worth a visit!

Popped to gossip on my way to my mans 90th birthday party. Leaving everything to the last minute as usual! I hurried in and was immediately asked if I would like some help. I asked the lady for 90th birthday cards, she pointed me in the direction and whilst I was browsing she gathered up some more to show me. I ended up buying 2 as they were such nice cards, I did not expect such a large selection for a 90th. I also bought a badge and a balloon, the total was just over £6 which was fantastic, I thought I miss heard the price at first. Having received such a good service I will not buy cards from anywhere else now! Thank you gossip

A lovely shop. The staff and owners are so helpful. I have twice ordered a dozen cards the same to give to a group of people involved in a project and I get a phone call when they are in stock for me. There is a lovely atmosphere and sometimes I have called in when ladies who knit or crochet are there having a natter and a coffee. There is such a good collection and variety of cards and very reasonable prices.

Very good selection of items : cards : gifts all locally and avoiding that time consuming trip into town

Visited Gossip during half term with my 11 & 9 year olds as they were laying on craft activities including rock and glass painting. Best of all, it was free.Very friendly staff who were attentive to the many 4th kids that turned up.Took the opportunity for a coffee which was, as coffee goes, very good. The cake looked amazing but my waistline won the battle so I didn't try it.Also had chance to browse and they sell a fantastic range of gifts which you maybe wouldn't expect in a village shop. Definitely worth popping in to say hello and have a coffee.

I came across this delightful oasis quite by chance. The lovely Denise brought me coffee and cake to my table outside in the wintry sun with the most welcoming smile you could ever imagine. The wonderful cafe had some truly amazing wonderful pictures, gloriously local made decorative candles and embroidery for sale. I love locally owned shops which keep alive local communities and customs, a lovely warm welcoming feeling. Who could ask for anything more?

We came here to see family and tried the food and teas it was lovely they have done well with the space and you can eat whist browsing the shop perfect definitely be back again next time we visit :)

No funny cards which is a shame. Range of cards needs reviewing. But cheap and good quality what they do have. Nice cake.

Yo tenía té helado aquí. Los bollos era grande y suave y un buen jamón de calidad. La razón principal que resultados tan altamente para mí es el hecho de que hay una pequeña tienda con una cafetería y tienda de regalos. Hay algunos buenos regalos aquí y las mujeres son muy agradables y acogedores.

Entramos en Wakering y en esta encantadora cafetería. Mi hija y yo tuvimos la mejor tarta muy bien de precio y una taza de té y una taza de café también tienen generosas rebanadas de pastel para llevar para 50 p.Todo el personal es muy amable y te gusta escuchar sus pensamientos sobre su servicio como están buscando mejorar en todo momento.

When you only live a couple of hundred yards away from a coffee shop you would think i'll go home and make my own BUT a lovely treat to have a good coffee and a slice of yummy cake or toasted tea cake with the bonus of being in a very reasonably priced card and gift shop- well worth a visit!

nice little shop but the coffee is quite expensive. the décor inside is very good and the lady in side is very friendly and nice.

Visité aquí hoy con un amigo. He conducido pasado aquí unas cuantas veces pero planeado ir hoy. Teníamos un chocolate caliente con nata y malvaviscos y esponjosa, la más maravillosa! Hay regalos encantadores algo para todo el mundo.Este es el snack bar rienda suelta a que he tenido, sin duda una recomendación de mí.

Walked pass the Shop .and walked in for a coffee. Very good coffee. Friendly Staff. Hade on of the tastiest cakes that I had for a long time. Really worth the stop.

A bit dubious about going to this tea shop after reading the first review, how wrong that review is! This tea shop is fantastic, the cakes are fantastic and the coffee and tea was perfect! Such friendly staff and the items in the rest of the shop are really lovely.. I actually spent too much as I couldn't resist. WELL WORTH A VISIT!

Went into gossip earlier today and I have to say, the red velvet cake was to die for and the latte was done to perfection. They have a great variety of cards and the staff were so very friendly and very helpful.

I was visiting Gt Wakering and decided to try Gossip,a new tea shop.I ordered a pot of tea,a cup of coffee and two pieces of cake.The pot of tea was fine.The two pieces of the same cake were completely different in size,the larger piece not too generous ,the smaller poor.The coffee was absolutely awful,possibly the worst coffee ever experienced,dire.The staff/owners ? were smoking outside the premises,situated at a table,whilst other china,cutlery was still to be cleared away.Not good.As a shop,the greeting cards were very good, a varied selection,but as for the tea shop,could and should do much better.The visit was mid afternoon on a Saturday.
