Gourmet Sushi in Tower Hamlets

Almuerzo de entrega en nuestro hotel. Todo estaba muy bien empaquetado y entregado a través de Uber Eats. Todos los condimentos y cubiertos incluidos. El sushi era muy fresco y muy bien preparado.

I am sorry I cannot vote below 1. We tried to order a delivery dinner. The order was confirmed immediately with approximately 45 minutes lead times. The first update came after over half hour saying the driver was there, ready to collect our order. No updates for a while, it was already 10:30 at night, we were still hopeful. Well, after over one hour and half, we finally received the message: order is cancelled!!! Left at night with very few possibilities of finding kitchens opened that late. Please, do not order with them. It is a shame you cannot use strong words....

I live nearby to Gourmet sushi, and it quickly became one of our absolute favourites for takeaway once we'd tried it. The staff are friendly, food is great value and prepared freshly and quickly (I've been in there enough times to see that they are constantly refreshing stock, a previous review suggests the sushi wasn't fresh, but they prepare it and it's flown off the shelves within an hour!) I'd say we've been here once or twice a month for 2 years now, and we've never been disappointed (this really speaks to the quality of service!). The menu is huge, we tend to opt for the boxes as they offer a good selection - we tend to mix and match between the Deluxe, Delish, Tokyo and Salmon lover boxes, plus the dragon roll (my personal favourite). It's high quality sushi for reasonable prices - I can't praise it enough :) A note - it's not really somewhere you can sit-in, but if the weather's good, head further up Brick Lane to Allen Gardens and enjoy sat on the grass amongst the street art

Para llevar: los panecillos especiales se guardan en el refrigerador y no están recién preparados; vienen helados. El sashimi de atún braseado no estaba chamuscado, pero seguía siendo agradable y Nigiri era bueno.
