Grand Rasoi Restaurant in Tower Hamlets

Don’t go there if you have any disabled person in the family or a child. In the middle of eating we were told by Mr Ali the manager that you are taking a lot of space you need to move. Had to move with my disabled mom. After that she did not manage to eat because mentally startled and had been seated too uncomfortably. Went to the manager requesting that this kind of behaviour was not good customer service only to be threatened by mr Ali and one other lady staff that complain if you want we don’t care. You took too much space. We were a family of 8 took place for 10 people. The lady shouted go do whatever you want we serve thousands of customers if 1 complaints it doesn’t matter. I was astonished. Went there to eat with family came back home with trauma and threats. Not sure what to say. But I want to seek attention of authorities is this how you serve customers? I know you will continue getting customers but you should be kind and gentle towards families. A business should be run with respect for the customers. Can not rate food because did not manage to eat much after the incident.

Really authentic bangladeshi food.I took my teenage son with me, they made fresh chips for him without us even asking.Food is 10/10 proper home made food

Very tasty food and very nice environment. Staffs are very hospitable. Very clean Restaurant as well. So many different varieties of food.

We went for official dinner with our colleagues to celebrate a special achievement for our company. We enjoyed their foods and services. Highly recommend.

This is the best place to eat and dine , based on my at least my 3rd visit here, I can tell, if you want to experience Bengali coiusin which is unique and full of passion for life, then come here. You can't get such a great place to eat for so reasonably priced items (including the buffet option) anywhere else. This place is simply the best, I can guarantee you a great time, if you are a delicious food lover then just come here!

I must say the variety buffet dishes available we was spoilt for choices..the authentic bengali dishes along with its aroma was spot on and everyone had enjoyed their night out as a family function...Will recommend anytime and revisit soon

Honestly surprised by the the tastiness of every dish, didn't expect this as buffets are usually a let down. Staff are so kind and friendly too and I have already planned to bring another lot of my family here for dinner! You're doing an amazing job! Even the interior is lovely!

This is our second visit here. Authentic Bangladeshi food, delicious and good for the price. You have all your desi borth and fish curries, all the lamb and beef dishes along with the starters and few desserts like kheer and a suji or a bread and milk pudding which I don’t mind. My favourite is the beef shathkora bhuna. I really like this place it’s not over the top with far too many dishes where you are unable to try all or far to less, for me it was just right. I really enjoyed every time is visited. Service is also very satisfactory, staff are very welcoming and attentive. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

A lot of the chicken,fried,roasted and grilled, they were all half uncooked and could still see red inside. The floors were really filthy and there was no sense of organisation in the seating. They put the food area in a place so bizarre that it's like having to fight through an army of elephants to get to it. Lastly, the tables werent cleaning the tables properly.

Had a lunch party there, the food and customer service was very good Only downsides, labelling needs to be clear and consider lids on food as bugs can set in easily. They also need to consider setting up a second station perhaps at the back (especially weekend lunch) as they have a large seating capacity, about 30-40 people end up queuing up together. It's difficult to navigate around as space is tight. Can be a fire hazard and issue for wheelchair users especially in an emergency.

Excellent buffet food from south Asian cuisine with a variety of sweet deserts and cinnamon tea to top it all off. Great service and value for money. Very clean. Will definitely visit again.

Saw the advert for Grand Rasoi on TV and thought I would try it out. Was not disappointed. Food was great quality. No less quality than their catering service for large parties. What pleased me the most was that the curries all had their distinct flavor and taste which isn't always the case at Buffets. The number of options were just about right although the only criticism I have is probably the number of desserts could be increased especially to cater for children. When ever you go to these buffet places, staff are not usually great but at Grand Rasoi, everyone had a smile and were very friendly. For the quality I would say the price is just about right as well. A great night out and will definitely be going again.

Very good selection of buffet including a wonderful selection of Bortha (also known as Saatni or Saakni in other parts of Bangladesh). Deshi Roast, Saag Prawn and the Loitta Shutki was amazing.

I recently had the most incredible dinner that left me speechless. Because the food was excellent and the service was kind and receptive it was an ideal environment for a relaxed evening. I recommend you to go if you want a memorable dinner experience!
