I work in didsbury and we are really lacking a place for lunch if you are a vegetarian! (Most shops offer a CHEESE SANDWICH? like 1980 ). So after all the vegan advertising campaign from Gregg’s I was looking forward to trying a few items as they sounded quite nice ? The lady behind the counter was not helpful at all ? The options were a cheese butty our a vegan sausage roll ? When I asked if they had a veggie soup she laughed and said it’s a Christmas dinner soup that’s it? Oh come on ? It’s 2021 it’s absolutely diabolical you do not cater for peoples needs ? What if I was Muslim or Jewish? A Christmas dinner soup has pork in ? Please sort it out as your THE only sandwich shop in didsbury village!

Tried to speak to them on the telephone nobody bothers answering they pick it up and put it down pretty poor Good service ordered on phone and was ready on time one of the best

Why is it that when you buy a pasty from Greggs the staff usually apologise that they are cold. My response nowadays is "Yep, just what I expected you to say" Don't get me wrong, if you want a quick tasty cheap bite and fancy your chances on hot v cold then Greggs is great. When I was a young lad....Thurstons, as was, always took fresh salad from local green grocers. I can vouch for the freshness back then as I was part of the chain - not so sure now. So, I can't believe I'm reviewing Greggs but as the title of my review states:- "Greggs is Greggs. That's it really" and I stick to my guns :-)
