20 minutes stood in queue only to be told coffee machine not working....NO SIGNAGE....pee poor customer service... Guy told sign on door....NO SIGN...

After purchasing my breakfast and sitting down in the store, I was informed that I couldn't stay inside due to government policy. Confused, I asked why this applied to me as a paying customer (quietly paying a bill online). The response was baffling — I was told it was because there were 10 chairs outside, which didn’t make any sense. Obviously as a white male with a skin head, I must be trouble lol. On the opposite side of the store, there was an elderly gentleman, probably in his 80s, enjoying his coffee with the help of a walking stick. I asked if the same policy applied to him, given his obvious need for a place to sit, and was told that it did. Unbeknownst to the others in the queue I did what anyone should do in that situation I requested a full refund from the supervisor and was asked "why", I then stuck up for the elderly gentleman who had to move and left the store. What is the UK coming too if you cannot buy a coffee, and sit down because of government policy?

Always busy at lunchtime, but seems to be understaffed. The little important jobs don’t get done, milk jugs empty today, plus one with broken switch on top, so couldn’t get milk out, and food on the floor not swept up. Cold food which should have been hot. Bins full. Probably they play catch up after the lunchtime queues have gone down. The staff are always polite and helpful.

Visited twice in May. A very rude and abrupt lady served me both times. The first visit with my fiancé we ordered a vanilla latte which usually as standard comes with cream and she made it apparent of her annoyance we asked for cream because she had “filled the cup up too high now”. She then put one egg on each egg breakfast sandwich, again, not as standard and only felt intentional based on the service provided. On one occasion I visited alone told me she had no cup holders (for 3 drinks) after I paid and she had made the drinks. She made it clear it was an issue to go to the back to find them. She went looking and naturally was angry she couldn’t find them and asked a spar worker to find me one from the front. Happy days. It was that she spoke about me after thinking I had left to other workers whilst I was putting sugar in my coffees, as if I was a demanding and rude customer myself when I have excellent experiences at other greggs and spend over £300 a month across Sheffield and chesterfield so usually never have anything bad to say and have very strong rapport quickly with other branches. Certainly won’t be returning.

Weve just had the worst kfc ever,to start with no chicken on the bone,this ia at 9 oclock boxing day,ordered hot wings,aswell as boneless chicken,got home no ,hot wings!,even tho we waited 15 mins for food,what we got had to be microwaved,the food was almost inedible, there was two ladies serving,the lady with the dark hair was rude, what a waste of money .

Leaving a 1 star is generous, we ordered £30’s worth of food & the food items that weren’t missing were completely inedible, mushy peas were water, sausage for kids cold/burnt, chips freezing & over cooked, fish batter soggy but probably the best bit about the meal 🤢
