Great for a casual dinner with family. Buffet very fresh and plenty hot enough. Naan was delish! Great refurb but miss the fountain!

Been coming here for years and still the best Indian Restaurant I've been to...and the service is impeccable. The food is incredibly fresh and the buffet is continually refreshed so there's nothing sitting for any time. I 100% recommend the Gulnar to anyone looking for a wonderful meal.

Have been a few times but on this occasion the waiter spilled a full pint of beer over one of our party which meant he had to go home. Although apologetic they didn't even deduct the pint from the bill! I expected better 🙁

Whole place has been re decorated since my last visit a while ago....open and bright now. Piping hot, fresh and tasty food....with the biggest, and ,best naan bread I've ever had. Friendly and attentive staff....would highly recommend

I live in Spain but was visiting Falkirk Scotland and while there and was taken to this restaurant. Wow! What a lovely place this is such a relaxing atmosphere and the food was deliciously authentic Indian cuisine. The service was very professional, attentive but not over powering. I would recommend you give this restaurant a try I promise you that you will not be disappointed.

This is our regular place for Indian food. The food is first class always fresh even the buffet is of a high standard. The staff are friendly and polite. I no longer go anywhere else as there is nothing else local that comes close to the standard provided at Gulnar. 100% recommended l.

Buffet is the best in Scotland. You will enjoy and keep coming back.

Average for me but maybe I should have gone with the buffet rather than the house special biryani. It was ok but nothing special however it did what I needed so no complaints. Staff very good.

Food was poor, both mains and side dishes. The menu was rather strange, to say the least, with many standard items not included. In short, bloody awful. No way would I eat here again. Avoid, avoid,avoid.

Great restaurant. We don't go for a curry in Larbert we go for a Gulnar! Very special place.

We visited for dinner on Saturday night. This restaurant is a favourite of ours. We always go for the buffet as it is such good value, and gives you the chance to try different curries. We were blown away by the professional and warm.m service. It was evident how much pride they took in their role. We admired their confidence and attentiveness. It is not often you see such maturity in young people. They are a credit to their families and colleagues.

Myself and my partner have been going to the gulnar for quite some time now. Food is always hot and fresh, staff are lovely, very attentive and always make a point of stopping for a chat. Would highly recommend.

Lovely wee buffet, nice selection of starters - pakora, chaat, tikka... salad, sauces - mango chutney, pakora sauce, spiced onions.. mains were a selection of curries with rice - nothing too spicy, chicken, lamb, mushroom, etc... complementary naans and poppadoms.. also complimentary ice cream afterwards.. we were less than £60 for the 2 of us to have a night time weekend buffet including 4 drinks (pints).. lovely x

I am a visitor in Larbert and I have been told by many that this is simply the best place to get food in the area; loved by locals and visitors alike. I’ll order takeout from here again for sure. Welcome to Scotland ! Would recommend the lamb dhansac and the chicken korma in Afghan style!

Gulnar Tandoori is a place we stumbled upon by chance while visiting a friend in Labert. For starters, we had the vegetable samosa and the mixed platter which nicely set us up for an amazing culinary experience. For the main we had the South Indian Garlic Chilli Lamb, Chicken Pardesi and Chicken Biryani. We collectively agreed it was the best Indian meal that we have had in a very long time. I definitely recommend a visit.

So very sorry guys. Loved the Gulnar experience over many years. First take away for a long time. Vegetable pakora greasy. Vegetable samosas brilliant but channa oily. Chicken and mushroom curry average due to the mushrooms being fried beforehand. Big disappointment I'm afraid.

Love the service, food was okay. Atmosphere was great. We tried the buffet deal, and it is worth it, with ice-cream gulab janum and tea coffee included. Kids friendly, and clean bathroom. Of course, being halal is the deal breaker.

Been a customer for decades. Always been very good. New management which have taken over recently have maintained (arguably increased) that the quality. So good!!

Well I’ve eaten at the Gulner for over 40;years and I ordered a carry out , well it=was the worst carry out I’ve ever had, pokoras cold, sauce bland and the curry was poor, tastes was bland sauce was bland rice was cool. Disappointing to say the least.

Haven't been to the Gulnar while, the mushroom panoramic was best I've tasted. The rest of the meal was a delight and service superb We'll be back.
