Hackney Bridge Kitchens is a new, canal side street food market area featuring a wide selection of cultural cuisine located in Hackney Wick. We ordered from 3 different food stalls and enjoyed everything we had from the South Indian masala dosa(from Tamila), the fresh homemade duck gyozas(from Rainbo) to the Vietnamese bowl(from Hanoi Chay). Friendly counter service-order, pay and you are given a buzzer to come back to pick up your food when it is ready. You will find a selection of beer/wine/cocktails...food ranging from Caribbean, Vietnamese, pizza (long line for the pizza the day we visited), Japanese, South Indian, seafood, burgers to Filipino BBQ. Hackney Bridge Kitchens is part of an area that also has local independent stores, community garden, home to workspace and event space.

Dishoom never disappoints. We had a delicious feast of so many flavors. Everyone left happy and full. Recommend chicken ruby and samosas!

Right next to Hackney Central Station. Had the vegan Jackfruit Biryani, tasted very delicious!! Highly recommended!

What a great restaurant! We came here for our son's birthday and had a delicious dinner - the lamb was tender; my husband had a fish dish, which was delectable and the Peshwari nan was nutty, coconutty and fruity. Our meals were served by extremely pleasant, attentive staff. I will definitely be eating here again!

They advertise a ‘Buffet Night’ in a poster on the door. Didn’t even get through the door when a very rude man (the owner?) told me “it’s finished…a long time ago”. I suggested they should take the poster down then, which he started to do. Went round the corner and had a nice curry at the Lavan’s Spice. As I walked back passed on my way home the poster was back in the window! They are openly LYING to customers advertising a buffet night they don’t actually do! AVOID!!!
