Been past this place many times in the past and decided to dine there today. Food was really good! Price was decent considering how expensive Turkish food has become, and a very pleasant decor. Wouldn't hesitate to come back with friends and family again!

Very nice Turkish restaurant, friendly staff, good is great, well seasoned and best prices in town. If you like Turkish food, a must try.

I e been a customer here since they opened and always tend to come back after trying different Turkish around the area. They also have a **New decor*** they have updated their interior and it looks really nice now. Food is always good and so is their service, food quantity and quality. Also very clean and toilets are clean too. Some people might think all Turkish food taste the same, but that’s wrong. Seasoning etc on point and their platters come with starters (hummus and cacik dips) I have been eating here since the opened for the first time. The manager/owner is very friendly although he may not remember me.

I would not recommend this place. We ordered 2 platters, as we had 4 children and 2 adults, children didn’t not eat much, we had food left waitress only gave 2 paper containers and refused give more even we spend around 100£, manager was trying explain that it cost them money, I mean how cheap can they be. They ruined the whole experience.

I’ve come here quite a few times and always had a good experience but unfortunately won’t be going there anymore as our bread had mould in it. We informed the waitress and she took the bread to inspect it. When she came back she said she will replace the food. We said we don’t want a replacement. She didn’t even apologise, the manager didn’t even come out to apologise. Finding mould in food is absolutely disgusting and there’s food hygiene regulations in place to prevent this. The staff who made my husband’s food clearly didn’t look. That one off experience put everyone off and we won’t be going there again at all.

Went to dinner with my family, absolutely ruined my evening by rude and clueless staff, no common sense. When asked for pennies worth boxes to take the food home as we had to come home as soon as the platter arrived on our table, we hardly touched the platter. We asked for the foil container so we can pack ourselves,series of interrogation started why we asked for two small containers and large foil container, The waitresse, clueless with a brain cell of a lettuce could not see that we had lots of starters and sides with a full platter to pack and needed to go home. To my astonishment she said in a rude abrupt manner, I can't let you have these two (clamsell disposable )boxes (pennies worth). I buy these boxes for my own establishment, (I pay £25.00 for 250 boxes , works out to be 10 pence per box and my ones are better quality then theirs). I lost my patience approached the manager, clearly said I'm not here to answer questions and to be treated like a child, further added, all you have to do is tell me if you want to charge for the boxes, where I'm happy to pay to pack my food. Guess what, he didnt want to understand my simple point, and at that point the clueless waitreese tried to join her boss so, both can be bullies, I told her not to talk to me while I'm talking to the manager. The bald head manager had bigger ego then his height, tried to explain to me boxes get wasted while raising his voice and pointing fingers, had to tell him to lower his voice and move his finger away from my face where ill be forced to defend myself physically as he was invading my private space. When I said I'm not interested listening to him as he already charged for the boxes, he went to tell me his never seen me at the restaurant before, refused to acknowledge me as a customer, I said its not always sit down meals but takeaways, which should not matter anyway. Bottom line these fakers are horrible individuals and have 0 respect for their customers, there are so many Turkish restaurants in the area to choose from. The food is not much to write about either, similar to most Turkish restaurants, the food wasnt great either, it was salty and overcooked which I was okay to overlook as a one off. They will probably attempt to justify themselves on the response to this review that I was a rude customer, looks like its what they do if people complain about them or the food. I simply stood my ground strongly applying common sense. They do not know what normal customer service is and seem to be only favoured by people that are non the wiser. The bill was close to £60, which was not the issue, but they charged me £2.00 for two small sauces and two disposable boxes, again wasnt a problem but the pettiness shows how small minded they are, and the horrible attitude is unacceptable. Will never return to this joke of a place.

Extremely rude staff who try to shortchange you on the food ordered and bully customers. First the staff gave less food than what I had paid for, and when I questioned this, they tried to take my money and my food away and started shouting insults at me. Customer service is not a concept taught to the staff. Giving customers the food they ordered is also difficult for them.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely inattentive, and lacking basic courtesy. To make matters worse, they tried to add extra service charges to the bill, even though the menu clearly stated that a 10% service charge was already included in the prices. This felt like a blatant attempt at fraud. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience. Also they prefer CASH to avoid HMRC TAX

I dunno what to say the food portions are decent, went for the lunch time menu at £9.99 and you get complimentary bread and salad with your meal. I ordered the lamb doner and it tasted a bit tangy but didn’t have a smell or anything so I ate it. Next day was sick, I think the meat was a bit off. Overall service was good

Updating review one year on. Complimentary salad, sauces and bread has got smaller. That's not an issue for me.Have pictures from last year to compare. Food excellent and still value for money. Service is bad, I asked for no extra bread and they still came back with a portion. I thought okay no worries. I was also over charged for CACIK. I asked to takeaway the one I ordered and they ignored my request and gave me a new one and charged me for two. When I raised it they played dumb and the men walked away to take no part in rectifying the issue. I did not pay a tip and they do not deserve one. This was the 3rd visit and I won't be going back again.

Decided to go to lunch here as we were recommended by someone, We were seated and given menu's and left to our own devices! When we were ready to order I called over the young waitress to take our order, only to be told the other waiter will take your order, although he was busy! So 10 mins later he comes over to seat another couple who had just walked in and then proceeded to take their order first! It was at this point me and my friend left. I think that they do not know what good customer service is to be honest, they obviously must have know the other diners as they greeted each other in their mother tongue and then took their order before ours. Very bad customer service.

After a long day in London due to my son having a competition we decided to treat our self with a nice Turkish dinner… we google and we found Harman Turkish restaurant near to our place . We have been welcomed from a nice man( waitress) which took our order and helped with our little baby . We ordered some different hot appetisers but i wouldn’t say we finished what we had in our plates .. because the food was not what we expected !! We were very disappointed !! We received our main and my son ordered chicken kebab and after few spoons he wasn’t feeling well and told me that he couldn’t eat it anymore because didn’t taste nice .nicely I asked the waitress ( a girl with black jeans and white shirt ) if it was possible to get chicken shish kebab instead because my son wasn’t feeling good coz of the taste of that meat . She was very rude saying that he had to eat the food because food was fresh . Whattttt, I was shocked and asked to see the waitress that took our order and he was very understandable and said that was not a problem ! Food came after 25-30 min and my son couldn’t eat anymore coz he was tired of waiting so long . He couldn’t even eat the rice because was so blanc and not taste at all !! We asked for the bill and we been offered the complementary Turkish tea , but this tea never came !! They took the money for the food and after 20-25 min waiting for the tea we decided to leave !! We come home after three hours drive and we all don’t feel good 😔 , our stomach hurts a lot

Lovely Turkish restaurant situated near Gants Hill roundabout. Close to station. Parking is available free after 6:30pm but limited near restaurants but plenty on side roads. Very spacious restaurant with over 100+ seating. Decor is ok but could do with a revamp. The staff were very friendly, always smiling and helpful. We order two full platters and drinks. Meze and sides came very quickly. They only gave 1 Roti type break for each table which was very limited. We had to order extras to go round. The Aryan drink we ordered were a bit watery but when we complained the staff were quick to change and got us a carton Aryan which was much better and salty as Aryan should be. Salad and Meze/bread was fresh and tasty. The platters didn’t take too long and was very tasty and fresh. A mix of shawarma, chops, ribs, adana, wings, chicken pieces and two types of rice. The portions were generous and we couldn’t finish them and had to take food home. Everyone in group enjoyed food. Extra sauces were provided, tap water, ordered extra drinks. We also ordered Kunafa which was lovely on a hot plate. Turkish tea was offered at the end. There is a small space at the back for prayers which was lovely to have. Overall a lovely place wasn’t very busy for a Sunday evening. The restaurant does not charge for service charge. A fair price for 10 hungry men came to around £25 each with tip. There is lots desert and drink places next to restaurant. Manager came out to ensure service and food was ok with his customers a nice touch.

Good service and good food. Portions are decent like many Turkish places out there, but what sets them apart is their platter prices haven't become extortionate like some others.

Delivery was on point and smooth. Gentleman was patiently waited. Amazing 🤩 Ordered at 18.30. Arrived around 18.50. Find the address and we communicated how to find it. Gentleman was calm and communicating civil manner.

We used to go here quite regularly, but recently I felt their service has gone down a bit. We came as a party of about ten, half were young children. Yet for some reason we were given one set of salad and sauces and bread between all ten of us. When I asked for another salad the waitress said you will be charged, which we were. I'm surprised the normal genorousity of this Turkish restaurant has dropped. I will be going further down Cranbrook road to wazir or sultans next time.

Me and my wife went there on a weekend. Really amazing food experience along with the service they offered. There were only 3 people to serve, but all of them were really good in satisfying the customer needs and that on time as well. The food was refreshing, with a unique taste to all the items. The cost is also reasonable. Vegetarians can also walk-in as they have good varieties.The Turkish tea was awesome, and they served it as a compliment after the food. They really value the customer by all means. It was really a mood changer for us visiting there. We would like to visit there again and recommend others as well. Thanks a lot team "Harman"

A busy and noisy place to eat Good for parties and big groups. The food was delicious and the service was good. Prices are reasonable and the staff friendly and helpful. There are plenty of restaurants in this area and would go back

The food was lovely I found no flaw in the food. The chicken shish was cooked nicely. But the service wasn’t that great. We ordered food and some of what we ordered came wrong and the waiters and waitresses didn’t come back to our table to ask if everything is ok and if we need anything else. If they improve on this then there’s no issues.

Food is always good. Service is always good, and waiting staff are very attentive and polite. Toilets are clean with nice warm water. Eating in, gets you a complementary Turkish tea, which is lovely at the end of a meal. Price is fair. This is our go-to Turkish meze restaurant, and we think it's better than Sultan, which has meat that smells. Should have taken some more pictures of the lovely sea bass. Next time.

10 pounds per person lunch offer

I normally order a large plater and it feeds 7 of us at home. I order to collect and it saves me a fiver. For what we ordered it is a real treat and great quality food very well done. The staff are always Friendly

Been coming here for years but were unable to enjoy our meal as had a rude staff member. Asked to move just as soon as we finished mains or were invited to pay our bill as a reservation was placed. We moved and were given tea..no sugar and when asked the staff looked offended. Then our bill was brought in the middle of tea asking us to pay. Literally felt pushed out of the restaurant!!!!

This is a place I have ate many many times in the past delivery or eating in but I have never done a review before so here goes. Firstly the place inside is lovely good layout nice seating and it looks like somewhere you want to eat. They have a wide mix of options for food and drinks so we had some sparkling water and an Effes but they have wines and a lot more. Food we went for the Ezme Salad, Lentil Soup and some Halloumi to start and as much as I like the delivery the food eating in is so much better the lentil soup was full of flavour and the halloumi was freshly cooked and tasty. Ezme Salad is a favourite for all and if you haven't learnt yet its the salad to get when your at a Turkish resteraunt. On the side they give you a free salad and dips which all taste home made and fresh full of flavour alongside the balloon bread (probably not its real name) but it is a winner everytime and can fill you up very quick if your not careful. For mains we had the chicken beyti which was better then ever great kofte meat wrapped in bread with so much flavour and garlic yogurt I mean what else could anybody want. Then we had a chicken casserole that was huge but again full of flavour which is a pattern at this place. No room for dessert but plenty of options but we did have a Turkish coffee and Turkish tea. The big winner after all this talk about the amazing food however is the service. We had 2 people looking after us and both were great they both cared both ensured we were happy and enjoying our food and provided the perfect service honestly the resteraunt was lucky to have both of them working there I wish I could've got there named to ensure the resteraunt knows how good they were. So yes check it out enjoy eat food and go and eat in as its such a better experience.

This place is too hit and miss and overpriced. Extremely disappointed at the halloumi wrap that just arrived and now they aren't open for me to complain on the phone. Literally the bread with a few pieces of halloumi.

This restaurant should add another name to it. Harman to Herman Munster. A true horror movie. The experience here was awful service and cocky remarks from the waitress. She was telling us what to choose from the menu, when we knew very well what we wanted. The starter bread was cold and dry, the sauces sparse. The waitress just disappeared after serving, one of us had to goto the counter to get more food. Looking at previous reviews, a lot of people have given it 1 star. I would give it zero stars simply because of the very bad customer service . We ordered two platters which was ok, but there were some food items missing on it. Compared to Wazir in Ilford, it didn't come as near as good. We were the only customers there having a meal . This explains why it was so empty and dull . The place looks dated and badly maintained. We had food left over and asked them to pack it, but they wouldn't give us the salad. They said it was complimentary salad and didn't allow us to take it, which was kinda dumb .So what are paying money for? I'm sorry I won't be coming back again. Even Attaturk and Ertugal would be disappointed.

Really great service yesterday from the manager and a lovely young waitress who's name I regretfully did not get. We were one of the last customers to leave and the waitress was very accommodating.

A very unpleasant employee , even vulgar when she is on a cigarette break . I would not like to be served by such an employee.

Went here for lunch and really enjoyed the food. They do a great lunch deal for £6 for a selected main course. We got to the restaurant and we're shown to our table, and a few minutes later the bread came with the dips. I ordered the lamb diner and the wife ordered the chicken shish. When the food arrived it was a nice large portion accompanied by rice. The food is very nice and has taste and is not bland. They give free turkish tea if you ask for it. The total bill for two at lunch came to £14 with a soft drink each. The cost for lunch has gone up to £20 for two people

First ever visit tonight and will definitely return. The staff were super-attentive, efficient and very friendly. The food was definitely amongst the best of the Turkish places we've been to. Big lahmacun, fresh grilled meats with loads of complimentary salad, sauces and piping-hot soft bread served.

Ive ordered grill chicken for lunch n Ive found a pices of charcoal stack to it n it smells like petrol :-(

I have been eating here for years. But lately theyre grill kebab smels like borned plastick or wood. I didnt like it at all.

I've been eating here few year but my last 2 visited I've found charcoal in my kebab n food stings like burned wood. I should try salami next time

This place has so much competition with other restaurants nearby. The decor is plain, so loses business from the others nearby. So they really need a gimmick to attract people. The food is alright. How can you go wrong with grilled seasoned meat dishes?

Food was brilliant, with the quality of meat being especially high. We often go for the mixed platter (which is lamb chops, lamb kebabs, boneless chicken, chicken wings, boneless lamb and rice) and it is always very good, and feeds 3 people for £40 easily, such that you won’t need to eat for the rest of the day. There is also unlimited Turkish bread and salad provided for free, and a complementary Turkish delight and Turkish tea at the end of your meal.

I have always had good here and its good. However decided to make use of too goo to go app thinking will get something decent. Got some disgusting watery chicken swimming in water with vegs that tasted disgusting. Pic attached. Not sure what dish this is. I could understand 2 or 3 different items. Got this one dish and it tasted horrible and really regretted getting the item. Esp I have eat here countless times and always love the food

Went today and had a takeaway meal of chicken liver and adana kebab with rice. While I was waiting outside with my dog the owner very kindly brought water for my dog , which Bella🐩 enjoyed very much. The food was amazing nice big portions and plenty of salad, loved it. Thank you very much, its always nice when people are kind.

Food is great, cooked very well but don't expect any appetisers until after you order, I arrived with young children and asked if they coul bring out the complimentary bread and humus but they were very clear that no order no food. It seems silly that an order of food would be the standard when there were a bunch of hungry kids. In the end we ended up ordering less food because of this but what we got was very good.

The price of the mix platters and the food in general have gone up significantly and the quality of the food has conversely declined somewhat over the years. The customer service is good - cannot fault it. We broke one of our fast here during Ramadan 2023 - we were given dates which was a nice touch and the food was served promptly. They also have prayer facilities, which is always a welcome sight for muslims who observe the five daily prayers.

As a Turk, I gotta say the food isn’t great at all. Rice is boring and tasteless, vegetarian imam bayildi is so dull. You would get better sarma in a can which you can buy from corner shops. Won’t eat here again.

Tired of ordering from here. You order food for 6 people and they give you two tiny sauces. And it's not the first time is happened! If you fancy eating dry chicken/lamb with no sauces then you'll love Harman. Pasam and Mirage are both much better local Turkish places to eat.

Delicious and high-quality food, friendly and attentive service and comfortable and pleasant atmosphere . Platter is nice but lacked some salt. Good value for money overall.
