I looked around Templemeads station between trains for something to eat and found the usual extortionately priced fair. Then I looked at Apple Maps and found this bakery, literally just outside the entrance to the station. The quiche was absolutely delicious. Cooked on the premises and tasted just like it was homemade. I thoroughly recommend it.

Excellent artisan bakery. However, you could buy 4 Greggs' sausage rolls for the price of one here! The carrot and walnut cake is the best I've ever tasted. At £3.50 a slice, it's not cheap but highly addictive!

I visited twice and had definitely the best pan aux chocolat and pan aux raisins I've tasted anywhere, including in France. The coffee was also nice, although I think it could be slightly larger given the not inconsiderable prices here. It gets very busy and clearly has a regular following.

Visited in the morning and ordered a take away coffee. I then had to wait for over 15 minutes and was late so rushed off. Despite asking for a very hot latte I discovered it was basically tepid milk. Won’t be repeating the experience as poor product and service and not cheap.

I visited Hart's Bakery to try their legendary sausage rolls. Unfortunately on the day of my visit, they sold out and the next batch is still in the oven so I tried the pork pasty and a piece of shortbread. It was delicious. The pasty filling was generous and very tasty. The shortbread, it was so nice that I tempted to go back for seconds. Will definitely visit again.

Hidden away in the arches below Temple Meads station, this is well worth taking the trouble to seek out. Do be aware though if you’re driving that car parking is very limited. In theory, they have two parking spaces allocated to the restaurant, but in practise with outside tables being set up at the edge of these, you’d have to drive right up to, almost in to in fact, anybody sat there. One benefit to have come out of Covid is that the goods for sale are now behind a glass counter. I always felt the previous setup with them on open tables where people could cough and splutter all over them was rather unhygienic. Today’s savoury options were chalked up on a board, and I went for the chipotle pork sausage roll. This was really very good indeed, a tasty and moist pork filling with a lovely crumbly and buttery pastry case. A slice of carrot cake was also very good, a generous portion with a smooth and sweet topping, it certainly hit the spot and this was all washed down with a decent latte. Staff were pleasant and helpful, this really is a hidden gem and well worth a visit.

If you can find it, tucked under the railway arches beneath Bristol Temple-Meads station, it’s well worth checking out. The food is made on site and tastes fantastic. It is fairly pricey but no more than you pay for the inedible overpriced fodder in the station itself. Find them today (unless it’s Sunday or Monday when they are closed).

Poor customer service and way over priced, I mean stupidly over priced - £3.20 for a small sausage roll!! I wouldn't have minded if it was nice but it was an explosion of grease in my mouth when I took a bite. I'm not even sure the pigeons enjoyed it when I threw the rest of it to them. Also £2.00 for a thimble sized coffee is a bit expensive for me.

Because of covid, they were taking only takeaway orders and there was a big queue at the front - which was a good sign! We ate the ham and cheese croissant, the chocolate hazelnut croissant and also had a mocha. IT WAS AMAZING.

I work near Temple Meads yet every time I go for lunch they never have anything in stock. The Sausage rolls are amazing but £3.20 is just simply a rip off, especially in the current climate. I also walked there today and was told they no longer accept cash, despite having the correct money and there being no link to covid or anything else. Which suggests this is another cash grab. Or profiteering. I guess it would be nice to see a business putting customers first and not profits.

Great cafe, that is hidden away in the approach section of Bristol Temple Meads, and is approachable by a set of steps - take care when going down these You can eat in or takeaway and yes it is worth the longer wait for anything as the food is extremely tasty and you pay a bit more but this is value for money - allow a few extra minutes to buy the food as there is often a wait and it is not a fast food place and a bakery instead, especially if you have a train to catch Much better than the chains that are elsewhere Service is genuine and great
