Terrible waiting times for food when visiting for breakfast with Santa

Went for drinks only, disappointed in holes in upholstery and dirty. Also toilets had a lot of mould on the upper walls, it all looked very tired

Sherrie was lovely and really enjoyed the food, lights were a bit close on the table but Jimmy kindly adjusted them

We often eat at the harvester, mostly for breakfast but also like to go for lunch and dinner, everyone is very welcoming especially Michael, he always takes time to come and have a chat with us and see how we've been, always making sure our food is OK and making sure the kids are with colouring, he's the heart an soul of the place and really cares about everyone's experience being 10/10

Good quality food at the right price. The service was absolutely Wonderful. Rich attended to all our needs and the quirky substitute. Great value for money nice place wonderful stuff.

Always a good family meal in great venues and good atmosphere

I visited this spot for breakfast with my family. The food was enjoyable, but I didn't like the less sugar and salt beans! The atmosphere was decent, but the service left room for improvement — we frequently had to call staff over for assistance. Overall, it was an average experience, though the breakfast menu did offer a great variety of options.

The restaurant was clean and welcoming. Our waitress Chelsea was very polite and professional. She was very attentive and demonstrated excellent customer service. She noticed a family still had not received their meal and took the initiative to check on their meal before they asked. The food was freshly prepared and there was not a long wait. I cannot wait for my next visit. Food was great and outstanding customer service from Chelsea.

Michael was amazing! Brilliant service

Had the festive vegetarian dish of Oyster Mushrooms Galette which was served with barely warm vegtables of broccoli, peas, roasted carrots and roasted potatoes. Neither my friend nor me enjoyed any of the food. We left about 80% of it and no-one came out to ask why we didn't eat it. We had bramley apple pie served with icecream but the pie was barely warm. :(

Wonderful service as usual by Sherrie. Food was lovely and service very good. Will definitely be coming back again.

Came for a Christmas get together with work colleagues. Super service, good food . Altogether good value for money. Would recommend.

Stopped here (2 adults and 3 children) on our way through. Very impressed. We had, sirloin, mixed grill, fish and chips, southern fried chicken burger and mac n cheese. All was amazing, free refills on the softdrinks and the staff were lovely.

We were served by Sarah, she was friendly, professional and informative. The service we received was prompt and pleasant. The food was fresh, salad was plentiful. Sarah ensured there were no allergies, she checked the food was to our satisfaction and the table was cleared in good time. It was a lovely evening meal with our family.

Visited Harvester Beacon in Great Barr, Birmingham – cozy spot with warm, classic decor and a friendly vibe. Loved the unlimited fresh salad bar and my perfectly grilled main. Staff was attentive, and the easygoing atmosphere made it perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family.

Good for the price. Meals are good standard. Unlimited soft drinks salad and bread rolls.

Food was nice and really filling, our server, Lil, was great and helped us a lot. With my daughters nut allergy we often get concerned that the servers might not explain the policy for allergies properly but Lil did a fabulous job explaining what foods didn't have nuts in. Atmosphere was great and the table was clean. Would come again 100%!

Had a lovely brunch at harvester Beacon this morning especially the chicken, bacon with waffles and drinks were nice.

Just visited here after a while of not going, really impressed! Service was excellent! Food was bought to us by two servers, the manager and waitress, the food tasted really good, only waited about 10 minutes for it! Definitely coming back!

Visited for breakfast, I have to say Chelsea, our waitress was fantastic, topped up tea’s and coffees when need be and nothing was too much trouble. Believe the Chef to be called Caitlin, shout out to her as breakfast was fab.

Come here often. The team are so friendly and there’s a lovely atmosphere. The salad bar is always stocked and fresh. I’m loving the new menu! The tikka flatbread is my favourite, so tasty and brilliant value for money. Will continue to use this place weekly.

Booked for a space for pushchair but did not provide or care. The service was okay not great. Food was okay. Try to hurry you out. I won’t be going again

Food was decent but slightly over priced. Staff were very poor. My food on counter whilst I watched a man on his mobile phone texting, and wasn't until he put it down he got my phone. Coffee was drank and cold way before breakfast as waiting time was poor

The food was hot and delicious. Charlotte was our server and she was wonderful. She was friendly and efficient and so welcoming. Our experience was excellent because of her. The atmosphere was good, there was a nice buzz about the place but it wasn't overcrowded or felt too busy.

Chips full of oil and not cooked properly. Don’t think this kind of food should be available for delivery as everything tasted horrible. I’ve had the same meal in the actual restaurant and it was lovely. Just go to the restaurant guys

Great food, amazing service, will go back again

Lovely staff Ness and Sarah. Very welcoming, and friendly atmosphere met with smiles and friendly chats.

Arrived at the harvest Beacon on Tuesday, the 1st of October and was greeted by the restaurant manager who made us aware that Sarah would be our server today. Sarah greeted us we were warm and friendly smile, made us aware she was new however, did not show any signs of being new and gave us a brilliant service.

Nice family meal. New menu with tadty offers and good service.

Rude staff member unprofessional with poor attitude and very poor service ignored and when asked i was refused to clear the table and staff member did not fully know the order on the food or the menu items that was advised and did not inform us of food items unavailable very poor experience food quality not any where close to what it should be and needless to say ruined the night. This is all down to the staff im afraid which reflects on the service

Worth a visit and I usually stay at the holiday inn Great Barr- so this was a nice change. Good menu, salad bar and food ordered was done well. Value was good too.

I stopped coming a while back but have been pleasantly surprised by my last two visits. I really enjoyed.

Come in for a family meal and was not disappointed, fantastic service and incredible food definitely be returning.

We hadn't been in for a very long time some friends had been talking about it earlier in the day and decided to give it a go and we're glad we did the food and service was excellent 👌 we will be back some time soon.

Was good for a breakfast couldn't rate the atmosphere as it was just as it opened, well worth the money !

Very enjoyable meal , not all sauces available when we went to the salad bar but were soon topped up, good value will happily return.

Came last night for meal. The lady on the door was so lovely and welcoming, we hadn’t booked and they looked really busy. She asked me to give her a minute whilst she got us a table. She was so very helpful. Our waitress was also lovely. She was attentive without being over bearing. We had everything we needed and our drinks topped up whenever they looked close to being empty. The food was tasty and well presented and the salad bar was fresh and clean. As we were leaving everyone we passed said goodbye and wished us goodnight. Honestly one of the most warm and welcoming places I’ve ever eaten. Wonderful

Salad was good my chicken was dry and ribs was burnt Staff was so rude I wouldn't even try to complain or ask for my money back as the staff was arguing amongst each other please save your money and go somewhere else even McDonald's feels more up market than this harvester there is better quality harvesters out there don't come here

Poor service - many things on the breakfast menu were not available - no apologies for ignoring us or making us wait - and to top it all when we complained on line they endorsed it - absolute shambles of an organisation - more training it seems…... Don’t bother going not worth it - try the Bell further down the road!

Decent food, but had to wait 15 minutes for our orders to be taken and then another 40 minutes for food to arrive. We were pushed for time (not the restaurant's fault), but just seemed excessive for 2 burgers and 2 kids meals. Orders weren't taken in order of being sat and therefore food wasn't either. Prices are quite high for what you get at £15-20 per meal. Will likely return for drinks as its location is convenient for me.

Chelsea is a wonderful waitress, she always makes my young daughter feel welcome and is so pleasent and extremely helpful.

We are only down the road from this restaurant and go there a lot , food is very good and all the staff are very helpful and friendly, I would like to give a shout out to Chelsea , a very helpful and pleasant young lady , she is absolutely lovely to my granddaughter who gets very excited to see her , she has to have a hug before we go , she does all this with a big smile and great sense of humour

Not been here for a while so was very surprised how good it was. Food was perfect and I,m hard to please. Waitress was very chatty and friendly. A real credit to the pub.

Very disappointed!!! Main meal was served while still eating our starters. Ordered half chicken, which had been served pink and raw in places. When brought to the managers attention, she just said ‘we test all meats are upto temperature’. Never offered to change the meal Waited 25 minutes for the bill even though it wasn’t busy Wouldn’t recommend and definitely won’t be going back. Poor food and service. Not worth the money

Portions are very skimpy for the price especially “upgrades” my chicken burger came with a huge load of burger sauce! But was then doubled and had a huge amount placed on bottom bun as well. My burger came I had more burger sauce that chicken inside as soo as I touched the bread fell apart as was soaking wet from all the sauce, I only didn’t make the complaint at the time because it would of meant waiting another 25-30mins for another burger while rest of my table had finished. Time of food was quite slow as they was barely even half full?

I ate at the restaurant yesterday with my partner and daughter, it was lovely food, definitely recommend. We were served by Mason, who was pleasant and polite, and extremely helpful! He definitely made the experience better.

First time eating here and to say the least I had experience all down to the best waitress, im sure her name was Erin. The customer service was great and even when I had a little Inconvenience with our Mixed grill she took care of it straight away with no problem and brought it out 10x better before with a gorgeous smile on her face. Honestly one if not the best encounter I’ve ever had with a waitress and customer service. She was very polite and had amazing manners. This was one of mine and my husbands date nights and honestly we will be back again. Thank you Erin and I hope she keeps up the great work, especially with that Mixed grill;).

Excellent meal drinks and service.Our waitress Ness was exceptional as always ,very pleasant efficient and amenable. This is the best Harvester I have ever visited and even though it is miles from where I live ,it never fails to please...Well done.

Lovely service, food came out quick and hot. Salad bar was fresh.. had a discount code from the app so was even better value.
