Waited along time for our food 40 minutes and it wasn't even busy! Food not good when it eventually arrived. Chicken overcooked and dry. W

For New Years Day we decided to come here today as a treat. It was lovely! The greeter and our server were very friendly. The Service was quick,the Toilets were clean and it was cosy and nicely decorated inside. The food was delicious,it is lovely to have the Unlimited Salad Bar so you don’t have to wait for food as you can already eat. The food was fresh and tasty. I love the Unlimited Drinks machine too,very tasty and flavourful. For my main I went for the Smokehouse Pork Belly which was delicious and I loved the added flavour of the Onions and Sauce. The Corn was lovely,the Corn being cooked gave it a lovely taste and the Chips were delicious. The garden is beautifully decorated and the Christmas Decs are lovely. The only downsides of this place are that there is only one Gluten Free option for Mains and that it is a bit chilly inside. Also today there was no Rotisserie Chicken or Steak available so be prepared that they might not have what you want on the menu. I would highly recommend the Blacksmiths Arms Harvester. The tacos are absolutely and utterly atrocious, chicken is extremely dry and was appalled would not recommend ordering tacos at all from the high Wycombe Harvester. despicable from whoever is at fault for ruining are ok meal, you should not eat the tacos, go somewhere else if you are into nice Mexican food. The sides were good but the tacos were inedible. It was a shambolic performance from the Blacksmiths Arms, Harvester, High Wycombe. Overall decent sides but the tacos were diabolical and should never have been made whoever came up with the idea should be punished.

Despite what was clearly an extremely busy afternoon (Father's Day) we seated promptly and treated very well by all members of staff. Particular shout out to Hilary, who did a great job of looking after us during my visit. The food was well presented, hot and arrived and despite the business of the restaurant the right sort of pace, to allow us to relax and take my time over the meal. We never felt pressured in any way. I'll be back!

We brought my mother in law for dinner on Boxing Day, very friendly staff & good service, everyone enjoyed the meal.

Jaime really made the whole dinner better amazing service and great personalty, also great with the kids.

Sally was very happy and helpful, first class service, always helps. Food was good and plentiful, great value for money.

We went with the kids for the Father Christmas brunch, the waitress was spot on and couldn't do enough for all of us. Having the kids meet the big man was enjoyable for all of them. We did nearly have a meltdown when we were told one of the brunch items from the kids menu wasn't available, even though that menu is very limited. Other than, spot on!

Ribs great. Service great. Angie was great. Will definitely be back. However, Naga chilli sauce isn’t that hot… disappointing considering it has 4/5 chilli’s on the front.

Better than previous experience. Went at wrong time though as the salad cart doesn't go out until lunchtime.

This place has gone down the pan BIGTIME...needs a revamp massively and when you order a piece of steak...even the steak knife can't get through speaks volumes 1/10

Food was cold. Sizes were small for the amount they charge. Salad cart was empty. No checking from staff and service was slow to nearly an hour to get food out to us and it wasn’t that busy

Dissapointingly average experience. The veg were old, cababage felt out of date and the sauces did not mask it. Ribs also not exciting. Harvester could really do better a year ago.

Absolutely shocking experience. Waited initially a long time to be seated. Not even acknowledged for at least 5 minutes. When seated the table wasn’t set up. Our order was taken after ten minutes. We then waited again for about ten minutes. then had to ask the staff member for our salad bowls and glasses for our drinks. Eventually got our bowls and waited again for glasses. We then had to ask for cutlery so we could eat our salad. We then waited for over an hour for food to come. At no point did anyone check on us. 3 out of the 5 meals were brought to the table leaving two children without their food and we were told sorry the chips aren’t ready. One of the three meals was cold and got sent back. After about 10 minutes the two missing children’s meals arrived whist the one that was sent back sat on the plate warmer area for another 5 minutes before it got sent to the table. We then had to ask for napkins. It just felt like a very self serve meal and not what you’d expect from going out to eat. After chasing up someone again to get the bill I explained everything to the member of staff. I would of expected at least a free drink or an offer of something for the complete shambles of a service but was barely acknowledged. Will think very hard before attending the black smith arms

There was no salt on the tables had to look on other tabkes even then the salt was clumpy in the pots, not enough knives and forks I had to look for my own. Area was soo dirty and needed cleaning as the floor had previous visits food on and table sticky. My family was sat upstairs with a table of another family that had 20 guests....there was only one waitress and it's felt that there should of been more helping her. Food was very nice but the service was soo bad and the cleanliness was terrible...I used to work at a harvester years ago and it would never be like the one I visited last night.... please always check before seating families that the area is clean with all the cutlery and sauces/salt/pepper before you seat anyone...you need to remember going out for di ner now days is a treat for a family and shouldn't be a disappointment.
