We had Christmas dinner the service was great food was mostly fine apart from one starter where the soup was cold and a steak that was medium rare was very rare.

Had a really nice meal here recently, would definitely recommend. Our server Charlie was really helpful and friendly and did a great job. Thanks!

Don’t go here food isn’t great and they miss half your meal!

Furniture was ripped or taped up, overall the quality of food wasn't as good as we have had before and the nappy bin the in the baby change room was full and disgusting.

Cayleen was very welcoming and made us feel at home. She was very lively and lovely and was very informative. Would definitely visit again and would love to have her as our waitress again

Service was great, lovely lady served us and was great with our daughter. Felt a bit awkward as we were sat practically on top of a group of older customers and they had a baby right behind them. Food was good although, kitchen forgot to send our starters. as I said our server was lovely and got them straight away for us!

If you wanna dine in a grubby place with black mould all in the bathroom with holes in the wall this is the go to!

Our servers Harry and Arose were absolutely outstanding during our visit. We also had Kayleigh who was brilliant. We weren’t kept waiting at all and they were very friendly. We also got to chat with Joe and Eli, the managers. We were very well looked after. We have booked for our Christmas dinner and we’re looking forward to seeing them all on the big day!

Good food and the staff are very friendly. Especially our waitress, Debbie, who exceed all expectations with helping identify the foods I can eat with my allergies of Gluten, Dariy and soya, providing a very positive experience and help us to have a relaxing dining experience.

We have been a loyal customer of Harvester for over 10 years, and I can honestly say the service and food are consistently great. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and provide a welcoming atmosphere, and the meals never disappoint – everything is cooked to perfection and served fresh. That being said, the restaurant could definitely benefit from a bit of a makeover. While the food and service remain top-notch, the decor is starting to look a bit dated, and some areas could use a refresh to bring the space in line with the quality of the overall experience. Still, I’ll definitely keep coming back for the great food and excellent service! Keep up the great work!

Surprisingly nice however the burger had been battered and a total mess. There was only half a bun on the bottom.

Really lovely meal. Havnt been for a few years due to bad experience but Debbie our server was so helpful and couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. She found out if I could change my potato with my meal and was very helpful. Food was really lovely too. Also loved the buy a homeless person a dinner for £5. Such a lovely touch.

The place needs a refurbishment, that's why I'm marking down the atmosphere. I just don't understand why the company haven't given this pub, its staff and its customers the investment they all deserve. The staff are brilliant, so do it for them.

Chloe the waitress was an absolute power horse, on a very busy night when they were clearly short staffed she was fantastic. Dealing with awkward customers on other tables how she kept a polite professional manner we assumed she was the manager as she was so on top of everything. A real credit to the harvester team!

Walked in & was seated within a few minutes. Hadn't been here for a few years as it wasn't a great experience back then but totally different this time. Super service, food lovely, great value & love the salad bar.

. I certainly will not be returning. I didn't feel a nice place to spend the afternoon.

Absolutely shocking service where do I start… all we wanted was abit of lunch. Firstly we were told there’s no tables for 2 in the restaurant as they were fully booked and was about to get really busy within the next 5 minutes so we had to sit in the bar area and order at the bar which wasn’t a problem but yet when we left after an hour of being there the restaurant wasn’t even busy so I don’t understand that. We had to wait 5 minutes to be served at the bar just to order some food and drink. When the food turned up half of it was missing so obviously we sent it back but that also meant another 5 minutes waiting at the bar to get someone’s attention. When someone finally took our food back it was another long wait for it to come back but yet it still wasn’t right! There was still food missing from the plate! At this point we was so hungry we just ate what was there and made use of the salad bar. No apology from the staff member about the situation and couldn’t even make eye contact or understand the issue. I think whoever is holding interviews there and hiring staff needs there head testing.

We've been coming to this harvester for 3 years. We always go on a Tuesday afternoon as we always know our favourite server will be working. Michelle never fails to put a smile upon our faces. She is so attentive to making every meal exactly to how we want it. Extremely efficient and a pleasure to be served by. My son is autistic and Michelle goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy when we visit. Although my son is usually at school when the rest of us have lunch Michelle always asks after him. This is the kind of person you would like to see time and time again after your first visit. Food is lovely and a lovely atmosphere to be dining in! Massive thanks to Michelle for your care and just being you!

Excellent service from Debbie. Food was quick and tasty. Restaurant was busy, which was really nice to see. Also loving the new menu, will definitely be revisiting soon to try the rest. Well done guys.

Debbie was lovely tonight, chased up our drinks and was very efficient and friendly!

The service was extremely slow, we waited at the door about 15minutes before we were seated. Then once at the table we waited half an hour before anyone came over to take our order. We didn't even have drinks. We were about to give up and leave as our toddler was getting very impatient when finally someone came over. We just ordered chips because the table next to us said they waited an hour for their food to arrive. We were never given cutlery and the menus weren't taken away. We also asked for colouring which we never got. We will never be returning as it was just awful all round.

Great place again! After a bit of a downward spiral just before Covid this place really has improved its standards again. The salad bar is again well stocked with nice tasty looking salad items, the food is cooked quickly and tastes great, and it's cleaner and tidier too. Obviously, busy times will always struggle to keep the standards up, but we went in for a late lunch and the salad bar was still kept full and everything was great. Looking forward to another visit.

Came here for breakfast with my little girl & we were treated amazingly by Sarah & Kerry who made a fuss of us both & gave amazing service. Food was excellent and throughly enjoyed by us both!

Absolutely TERRIBLE! I ordered 3 drinks while my sis has gone to get something from the car. When the staff came back she only had 2 drinks and saw there were 3 of us. Looking down on us and said SARCASTICALLY “OH!? THERE’S 3 OF YOU AND YOU ONLY ORDERED 2 DRINKS!!?” I ignored her words and tone of voice and said I ordered 1 Pepsi and 2 Pepsi max. Waited for quite awhile for her to come back to take our order. As we haven’t been to this Harvester for some time due to change of location and just visiting our parents, we did not know the changes. For Salad bar, before customers can help themselves once they have sat down and ordered drinks but it’s different now, we have to wait for the staff to give the bowl and make the order. HOWEVER, the same lady who was serving us, SHOUTED at my brother ACROSS the restaurant and said “YOU CAN’T GET THE SALAD, YOU HAVE TO ORDER!!!!” We were shocked as well as the people who were sat next to our table us. She should have came over to my brother to inform him and in a proper manner. I work in Hotel Industry and this is UNACCEPTABLE!!! VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Who would want to be shouted at, as if it seems we were there to steal and not pay!? First of all, she should have came and said “apologies but we will need to take order first and give the bowl for the salad bar, I’ll come over to your table if you’re ready to order. BUT NO! When my brother came back, of course he was UNHAPPY WITH HOW HE HAS BEEN TREATED. My brother said you don’t have to shout from across and the staff was very confrontational, she said “EXCUSE ME WHAT ARE YOU SAYING!? DON’T BE RUDE!!!” With her eyebrows raised and leaned back as if she was surprise of our reaction because of her ACTIONS. She repeated with AN AGGRESSIVE voice this time “NO! NO! WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY!” My brother then, said you were the one being rude earlier, you could have came over and said it nicely. The staff did not stop and tried to justify her actions. As we were hungry, my brother just said, look we are here to eat, we would like to order. She did not stop and said she will GET HER MANAGER! We told the manager what happened and he apologised and said maybe it came across differently to us. We said no, she was all lovely to all other customers she was serving around us but she was spoke differently to us. (Note-: We are asians and all other customers were English). He asked if we want to be served by a different staff and we said, yes please. NOW, while we were eating having our lunch at around 12-1pm on 2nd October 2024. I noticed the staff (the lady) has been GLARING AT US especially at my brother in between of her taking orders from the other tables. My brother have noticed as well and told us. IT WAS VERY UPSETTING TO THE POINT WE COULD NOT EAT PROPERLY BECAUSE WE HAVE LOSS OUR APPETITE DUE TO THIS DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR!!! I asked the manager to speak with me in private, and she glared at me when she heard this. I told the manager, how his staff (the lady) has made us felt (horrible). We came here to eat and enjoy our lunch, not to be treated this way. I told the manager, this is VERY DEGRADING. How she treated us was different to others. I told the manager, do you know how we feel and how we see this???? Of course the manager, apologised and said again, it could have come across differently. I said no, SHE IS RACIST. We are not asking to be treated special. The Manager said, he will speak to his staff. TO THE OWNER OF HARVESTER FRIMLEY GREEN-: Please kindly look into this matter, it is unacceptable to have staff who mistreats your customers. We used to come here often and your staff has always been great and lovely! And we have never encountered racial discrimination at your restaurant until yesterday. I had breakfast with several aunties and uncles this morning and mentioned them about what happened. They told me they have encountered the same with a certain staff not just once. When they described the staff, we found out IT WAS THE SAME PERSON. **The staff (lady) was more on the overweight side, blonde hair with glasses.**

Really disappointed with our visit last night. The place was packed and only had 1 person doing drinks and about 3 staff serving (who then had to clear and make desserts too). Apparently they had plenty of staff, but the Manager refused to call in extra help. If that is true, then clearly making money is the priority, not making sure customers are served in good time and wanting to return.

We love this place. Sadly, just today one of the chefs was rather loud and silly. Kind of put us off which is a shame. Waitresses weren't feeling friendly we found today

Visited today (11th Sept) with my friends after work. Our waitress, Sadie was fantastic. Not only was she friendly and efficient but she also brought a lot of warmth to the service and really enhanced our experience. She’s a credit to the team at harvester! The food was as you’d expect, came out fast and tasted good. Thank you again to Sadie for the service and for kindly laughing at my joke!

Great salad cart all tasting amazing. The mix grill was cooked to perfection and we got seated even though we arrive 30mins early
