Faith had a brilliant customer service and was fantastic throughout our whole meal lovely young lady

The food was delicious and the staff were all happy and friendly

Served by the lovely faith today such a joy and really helpful was so polite to her customers great addition to the team

No soap in toilets, mens. Blocked pan and constant running flush in the other. No heating at all in side bar and gents. Chef never used soap to clean hands, quick wipe of water, then off to cook our dinner. Not happy at all, complained to chef and staff, little response. Probably won't revisit

Was sat in the bar area for lunch and was absolutely frozen, another table sat after then got offered a seat in the warmer part of the restaurant but not me. Food is OK, very basic but decent for the price. Restaurant offers unlimited salad, but was not given bowl for this until chasing up after being served food and by this point was so frozen had to leave before I fully made the most of the offer. App ordering is a good idea, but took way too long to setup and then worked so slowly once logged in and it took 3 tries to actually submit order. Have been to other harvester restaurants and had a great experience so dissapointed by my experience here

Becki really friendly and helpful. The kids love a salad bar! We come here a lot because the staff are lovely and it’s kid friendly. The food is basic, but reasonable value.

Halfway meeting point for family from Oxford and Essex . Bit of a risk i guess but pleasantly surprised. The back of the building where we parked doesn't give a good impression but thankfully once inside we were warmly welcomed, nothing was too much bother and the staff were super - friendly, efficient, flexible with sorting out our bills, and the food was great too. Really recommended.

Snuck in for a cheeky breakfast with my husband, breakfast was lovely and ,Becky, our server was really nice and polite. Really good experience all around.

I visited with my mum, it was a lovely experience from start to end. Kelly served us, she was so warm and welcoming. Food was spot on as always.

Christmas Day dinner was awful worst ever

Went to Breakfast with Santa this morning with my son, who is neuro diverse. It was so calm and not very busy, which was perfect for us. My son had a really good, unhurried chat with Santa and loved the goodie bag. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly and dressed up in festive items. A really nice Xmasy thing to do on Xmas eve.

Absolutely devastated they cancelled our Breakfast with Santa not even an hour before we was coming. My children were distraught! Yes the offered free breakfast for the kids but that wasn’t enough. They had been waiting weeks for this! So upset!

Our group of 12 have just enjoyed a lovely lunch and all agreed the food was great and our waitress was absolutely top notch. Kelly was a delight and couldn't have given us any better service, with a friendly smile and ensuring we had everything we required. Thank you Kelly, you helped make lunch even more enjoyable.

I'm a regular at Harvester Ancient Briton and there's many good reasons for that! The whole team is outstanding but a very special mention to Becky, she always goes above and beyond to be an awesome host.

Went in for a quick lunch after visiting willows activity farm, servers were quick and friendly all had smiles on their faces. Good food can't complain, only had chips and chicken wings and light bites as it was only 2pm. Desserts all good! Gave the kids some activity packs. Overall a good nice experience.

Needed a lunch for one in a hurry, which considering the place was packed was a big ask. Staff went above and beyond to get one delicious flatbread lunch to me. Great value too.

Nice family friendly restaurant. Was a bit of a walk from the station but definitely worth it! We went here for my daughters birthday and it was the only restaurants that would allow us to reserve a table for 11 people 😂 Highly recommend!

Visited with Mother-in-law who has dementia. The staff were really patient with us and very sensitive to her needs. They kindly let us choose from the children's menu as she has a small appetite. They fetched an additional chair and were so calm and respectful. Thank you! xxx

As long as you’re not going expecting a Michelin star you’ll be happy. The food is nice, staff friendly and prices good. The last two times especially the waitress seeing to us was particularly nice.

We stopped of for a meal on our way home from a long hospital appointment in london and the meal was lovely the staff was very nice and polite so ended the day off very nice thanks

Visited with family earlier in week and was very disappointed. Staff member who seated us was very rude and just walked off ahead. We waited a long time to be seated despite booking, asked if there was a wait for food because of how long we had waited to be seated and was told only around 25 minutes. The salad was awful and had clearly been sitting for a while, food ended up being around 50 minutes. We were offered dessert menus but then waitress never came back so we just asked for the bill and left. Womens and disabled toilets had no hand wash or toilet roll.

A reasonably priced place for families to meet. A good choice on the menu so everyone was happy. I haven't been to a Harvester for a number of years and I'm pleased to say it's improved! The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Had a lovely very polite server, named Becky, service was impeccable and good was great, came out fast. She even remembered who ordered what, something most places don't achieve. Loved the seating arrangements and it certainly was at a nice temperature within the building. Very enjoyable meal.

We expected something else when we decided to go to Harvester. The wine glasses were very dirty, the bottle of white wine was warm, the lemonade for my son was warm, the waitresses didn't seem to be in the mood. The food we ordered was decent and the salad bar was OK.

Astonishing mediocrity. Nothing amazing, nothing that terrible. Dirty cutlery, stale salad, sticky table but reasonable dishes from the menu. They just make no effort and it really does show.

Visited last week with my partner, the food was beautiful and we had great customer service by a lady called Becky she was very attentive and super knowledgeable. Thank you for making our visit a good one Becky! Will definitely return.

Warm welcome from staff. Very average food, tired decor. The 'famous' salad bar (!) was awful, dried out, hours old, and poor limited choice of salad... why exactly is it famous? 100% is not its quality!

Went for a birthday dinner and it was great as always. Food was delicious and service was very good. Also easily accessible by car with the onsite car park.

Last minute detour to here as we had builders in and had no kitchen. Fairly quiet but to be expected for a Tuesday. Food was good, really tender ribs and plenty of meat. Corn on the cob wasn't as fresh as we'd have liked though. Our server Becky was lovely. Really attentive to our little girl and made her feel grown up. Polite and chatty and great service. Thanks Becky.

Met some friends here for breakfast who I haven’t seen in quite some time. We were so busy catching up and talking away but our waitress Becky was so patient and super understanding. Becky also answered our questions we had as we couldn’t decide what we wanted to eat. Clearly very knowledgeable on the menu and her customer service skills are impeccable.
