Visited here a few times, first time as a surprise retirement do .didn't even know this place existed, and I only live about 7 miles away. Had a fab evening! Last nights occasion was my daughters birthday. Indulged in a wonderful Indian meal which was absolutely yummy 😋 Lovely friendly staff and surroundings will definitely be retuning, thank you for a lovely evening.

An excellent location, staff group and venue. The staff cannot do enough, are always smiling and so lovely no matter what you ask! The accommodation was clean, quiet and just so nice to be in - would absolutely recommend this place to anyone that asks Managers of Henlle Hall - you have an excellent staff group, clearly well looked after and happy at work!!

What do People want from a Restaurant?, well what I want is Fantastic food,Friendly Staff,Competitively priced and as a bonus a Lovely Setting. Well Henlle Heights has all of the above. This is not the first time I have given this place a 5 star review. It is Predominately an Indian Restaurant and Boy it is Sensational,we eat there quite Regularly and the standards never drop I have never been to a better one. The Staff are also the Friendliest ever, they are so welcoming to everyone it feels like meeting family members. As for the prices well they are competitive but the Quality of the food could merit more(but please dont🤭😉). As for the Setting well its in a massive treehouse overlooking some wonderful countryside so even that is perfect as well. The Standards never dip WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK. As you can see from the review our family adore the Place ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We have had a lovely evening at Henlle Heights trying the new menu. The depth of flavour in the curry was delicious, not your usual curry. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, we were served by Drew this evening, who made us feel welcome and provided an excellent service. They were busy but it all appeared to be very well run, we didn't have to wait too long for our food and drinks. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful weekend away from the very first moment we arrived to the moment we left! Lovely welcoming staff, the most beautiful accommodation, with every single thing you could need thought of, amazing hot tub complete with robes, slippers and flip flops! Food is lovely and not too pricey, drinks are reasonably priced in my opinion. Sunday lunch is perfect! Booked return visit for January before we even left and are hoping to book again for the summer. We'll done to all the team, every member of staff we interacted with were friendly and went above and beyond! A big thank you also to Keta, despite us wandering onto private land, ooops, she was so kind and welcomed us to her home, the deer padock was beautiful

We stayed at Henlle Hall and ate at Henlle Heights twice during our stay. We experienced high quality service both times - staff were attentive and friendly, making our 2 children feel extremely welcome. The food was fantastic! The Indian was delicious. The Sunday dinner was also brilliant.

Exceptional lodges with luxury furnishings in a relaxing environment. High quality, good wholesome food in the restaurant and employees can't do enough for you.

Atmosphere in restaurant and site very good but VERY little effort made in our cabin. It's Xmas and all we get is a 6" tree! Last year we had a lodge with you and it had lights and full size tree, Xmas card etc. Very disappointing.

What an amazing place! We book for lunch. We had turkey off the festive menu it was delicious. We will definitely be back.

A little disappointed with our visit to Henlle heights on 21/12/24 we had made a reservation online the night before for a meal for a table for 2. Called the restaurant in the day to check the reservation had gone through which it had. Once arrived and seated at our table we were told they were not serving Indian food tonight because it was a Christmas menu for one week, which we were a bit disappointed with as we’re were going with intentions of have a Indian and we were not informed of this when we called the restaurant earlier in the day, but because we were there we thought oh it will be a nice Christmas menu and we will have selection of meals, but to be disappointed yet again when we were handed a small lunch time menu with no Christmas inspired meals at all. Very little choice. Order was taken quickly and food was on the table within 10 minutes there was not attention paid to customers at only when bringing food and clearing plates, there was no asking is everything ok with meal or would you like any more drinks, we had to make a trip to the bar to ask for more drinks , would be totally understandable if the restaurant was busy but it wasn’t 10 customers at the most and the stages Seamed to us everything was already pre cooked and very basic. We left the restaurant really disappointed as we’re had heard really good reviews.

When we arrived we were shown to our table then told theirs no "INDIAN FOOD" On the menu! I was shocked and confused by this and asked.. Why? Its an Indian restaurant right? "Tablet boy / Waiter" answered its Christmas week! we will be doing Indian food next week! So we thought we would give it a try has we were already here & seated, again feeling quite disappointed and frustrated looking that this poor attempt of a menu, Only lite lunch style meals being served! , felling confused as to why they cant serve Indian food? but also unable to offer anything even remotely festive! (Christmas week) Why is the restaurant open in the evenings if you cant be bothered to serve any form food you normally would? Why would you take a phone reservation and not mention an extremely important fact like this? "we just cant be bothered this week" Who ever takes these phone bookings and does not mention something this important should be sacked. Why is none of this advertised? It felt like they couldn't care less! The food we did have was no better than a Wetherspoons menu, even less so in terms of choice. I ordered a pint of Guinness, when it was served it wasn't even two thirds full! When i asked why? I was told... Its pored from a different can! What ever that mean? Again a, couldn't careless attitude.

We came for a special anniversary of my wife and I meeting 63 years ago, and the occasion was extremely pleasant with the table set beautifully with flowers and bubbly and very helpful staff. Thank you all once again John and Chris x

Always love coming here.. usually for coffee or lunch..this visit was to Indian buffet to bring some friends that were staying with us..they loved it too

Our first visit, and certainly won't be our last. We had an amazing stay so calm and relaxing 😌, the staff at the restaurant was amazing 👏 what an amazing atmosphere the staff couldn't do enough. Andre and his staff were simply the best, the food was beautiful 😍 nest Sunday dinner we have had and the Indian on Saturday night was brilliant 👏. Will 💯 be returning next year.

Lovely restaurant and very festive. Unfortunately no-one was at the door to greet us so had a short wait to be seated. Ordered diet cokes and pint of lager. Full sugar cokes were served. Christmas lunch was served very quickly. The accompanying veg could have been cooked a little more but we were all impressed with the amount and presentation of the food. The desserts were fabulous although some of the crackers on the cheeseboard smelt very strange..plainer ones would have been appreciated. We asked for the bill and paid in cash although we had to take it to the bar as no-one came back to collect it. Generally everyone enjoyed their meal and the roaring fire, lights and Christmas music made it memorable. We would definitely book again.

Great venue but could do with signage to direct you to the restaurant. The food lacked flavour and had no kick to it. I asked for my Madras to be extra spicy. The waiter said they would make it so but I have had hotter buttered chicken.

Pleasant enough, feels more like a cafe than a restaurant. Food was ok, but the veg served with the Sunday roast needs to be in proportion to the meal, not just a heap of various elements. Less and better cooked would have been preferable. Cauliflower was not cooked, cabbage overcooked, 9 veg is madness, concentrate on fewer and do them well.

Gorgeous restaurant in a lovely setting, the staff were very attentive and Sunday dinner was excellent.

The whole place is utterly beautiful. The staff are so lovely they couldn’t have made us and the dog anymore welcome. We had lunch and the food and service was amazing. The accommodation was spotless and everything you can think of is provided including dog treats!! We will definitely be rebooking.

It was my first visit here, my 2 companions had been previously, one of them for dinner and one of them for coffee. Lovely building, great views, nice and warm with the central fire. Excellent service and delicious food

A great evening for a family get together and will repeat the experience as soon as I can. The food is delicious & preserves the taste without using too much oil. There is variety in the buffet dishes presented. Distinct flavours between meats and vegetable preparations. The waiters were very attentive clearing buffet plates as soon as they were emptied which is an achievement when serving buffet meals requiring many visits to the buffet setup. And the dishes were labelled for first timers. Welcoming venue also & disabled parking, tick, tick

My friend and I had a lovely meal here. Food was very tasty and there was a good selection of dishes in the buffet. Service was also excellent and the staff were very pleasant.

Having enjoyed superb meals there ourselves we took visiting family there for a meal, one of whom said she wasn’t keen on Indian food but , to her surprise , she really enjoyed her meal, as did everyone else. The food is beautifully presented and delicately flavoured. All liked the setting and the staff were very pleasant and attentive throughout. We’re lucky to have such a place nearby and we hope it continues to be successful.

We stayed at Chestnut Heights tree house within Henlee Hall and visited the restaurant for a Sunday roast. Wow, absolutely fantastic food and service. The waitress was exceptional. Very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The service was quick and efficient and I can honestly say it’s the best Sunday dinner we’ve all had in a restaurant. The meat was beautiful and well cooked and best roasties I’ve had! As for the veg, I’ve never seen such an array of veg and it all tasted amazing! Faultless from start to finish and we will certainly be back. The prices are beyond reasonable as well. Thanks everyone!

Third time at Henlle Hall Woodland Lodges, different lodge never disappoints

Me and my partner went to one of their cabins for our 9th anniversary and they welcome us with open arms and provided and excellent service. After a request from me they decorated our cabin with anniversary balloons and rose petals shaped in a heart along with complimentary Maltesers & a bottle of Procecco. They also went further in offering a fantastic service by decorating our table booked in their restaurant with rose petals, an anniversary card signed by the staff, a bottle of smooth Merlot wine and beautiful roses. Overall would highly recommend couples to come here and get away from life to enjoy each others company and receive overwhelming customer service from Henlle Hall's staff. Can't wait to return here!

We had booked a couple of days to stay away@ Henlle hall . Recommend to try the Indian restaurant and I’m so glad I did , one of the best meals we have had for a long time, food was hot and delicious , lovely chilled mood in the restaurant, guys behind bar and serving were great and attentive . Chef even came out to talk to all of us that were there , will definitely be back, think I may need to work my way through the menu !

took a group of 12 gentlemen to Henlee Hall every person to a man said it was one of the best Indian meal's they had ever had.

The restaurant has a relaxed ambiance. Enjoyed the food and the service was good. Will definitely be going again soon. Will visit during the day next time.

Amazing food, lovely place and friendly service

We had an amazing weekend staying in Chestnut Heights. The treehouse is stunning with all the little extras you need for a fantastic stay. The birthday card and balloons were a lovely touch too thank you and the Halloween Trail was great fun. Will definitely be returning 🎉

It was the best Indian food we have ever had!

Superb curry. Definitely the most flavoursome Jalfrezi I have eaten. I live near Leicester too. Only wish I hadn’t waited until the last night to dine here, otherwise I would have visited again to try some of the other dishes. Highly recommended. 👍🏻

Booked Henlle for my mums 80th birthday, went for Sunday lunch, I had heard from various people how good the Indian food was and from one source that they had a nice Sunday lunch so was expecting good things but it was very disappointing. The food was lukewarm, when we had finished our main course nobody came to take our plates away or ask if we wanted more drinks so we were left with empty glasses for quite some time. When they finally came to clear the table and ask about drinks they were then left on the bar so one of our party had to go and get them. The staff were busy setting up for the Indian buffet in the evening and were constantly leaving the outside door open while they took chairs outside and brought tables inside, it meant that the temperature kept dropping to cold and I had to put my coat on to stop the draft. We ordered puddings, I had the sticky toffee pudding and when it came the custard was lukewarm also. All in all a very disappointing experience as it was for a special occasion.

Lovely evening with our daughter and granddaughter. Food and service was excellent. Lovely to see all the Halloween decorations. We will visit again soon.

This was the most delicious meal we had during our 2 visits to the restaurant. The service for breakfast was delightful. No rush but timely service and hot fresh and nourishing food. The kids had the full henlle and it kept them going all day. The option to replace the beams and tomatoes with a slice of bacon was eagerly taken up by my youngest.

Although breakfast was fabulous, lunch wasn't as tasty. The service wasn't as good either despite it being much quieter. Slow and missed a drink order. To be fair they realised this when the bill came and we had the coffee outside in the sunshine.The Seafood chowder, which my wife and daughter had been looking forward to had a distinct after taste of strong blue cheese. They normally love a chowder but this was one which compelled them to order dessert to get rid of the taste. However the desserts were delicious. The bakewell tart and henlle mess in particular were hits

Location is fab, food is fantastic and service excellent, well recommend Henlle Mumbai Indian restaurant and a bonus,,, it's less than a mile from our house!

Staff were extremely helpful and polite, food was great and location was relaxing and cosy, i would recommend coming here and i shall certainly be coming back.

Had lots of meals here and always good . This Sunday the lamb was really tough and I did mention this to the young man behind the bar when I paid . He just shrugged and offered no apology or comment just asked if I’d like to add a gratuity to my bill . This made me even more irritated and I said that a tip would be offered if I want to make one . Not impressed with his attitude at all . Must say all other staff are fantastic.

Such an amazing experience breakfast lunch or dinner all exceptional whilst we were there,we also stayed in one of the wonderful lodges and very rarely leave comments but this really exceeded our expectations and dog friendly would recommend and definitely return

This is our second visit. Was very surprised to see an Indian menu as the primary meal choice, the standard of the meal was out of this world! Has to be the best Indian food I have ever tasted. Only negative thing about the evening was a table of 14 who were extremely loud and used copious amounts of high end profanity. Thankfully we had just about finished as their starters were served, so didn’t have to endure it for long. That aside, we had a very relaxing stay, the staff were first class, we highly recommend Henlle Hall.

Absolutely love this place I have been 3 times now. The Venue is beautiful, the staff are so sweet, friendly, thoughtful, they don't rush you at all. The food is excellent slightly at the top end price wise. Lovely menu. Stunning surroundings even have some deer you can see by the log cabins love it.

Had an Indian last night & the food was faultless, presented beautifully, plentiful & exceptionally good value for money!! The only reason I knocked a star off on service was due to the waits. We booked a dog friendly table for 7:30 which wasn’t ready until 7:50, although we sat in the bar and waited patiently, food also took a while to come out due to a larger group which is understandable. Overall though an excellent evening, definitely recommend booking!!

Really beautiful setting and great atmosphere, we went when is wasn’t very busy but even then it was very nice, warm and relaxing setting and the deck is a lovely place to have a drink before your meal. The food was really good and very tasty. We had a selection of curry’s and starters which were delicious. Classics done well!

Food was excellent. The only problem was the mains came before the starters.

First time I and my family have visited. Food was superb and good value, so many choices of veg on the Sunday lunch menu. The vegetarian meal, mushroom wellington was lovely. Service was really good , lovely friendly atmosphere.

Stayed at the Hidden Firs and they recommended we try the restaurant. We booked online the day before, turned up on time and was allocated a table that didn't exist. The supervisor asked if we wanted to sit at the tall table but my heavily pregnant wife can't do we were sat in the waiting area while they moved tables around. There were other 2 person tables free for our entire dinner but we were sat bang in the middle constantly surrounded by people walking to the loos. We were spoke to like an inconvenience, Asif we hadn't booked. They seemed to treat us with less respect than the other customers. The food was almost thrown down in front of us and we didn't at any point get asked how the dinner was. Food was good but the service was so poor I asked the tip be removed, the supervisor had already done this but I tried to explain the situation anyway. This fell on deaf ears and clearly no one there cared how we felt. Shame

Nicest restaurants I have been to. Big statement. So many flavours on one fork of food. Chef deserves an award! Service is fantastic. This is proper Indian cuisine, not like 90% of other so called indian which are in fact Bangladeshi.

Excellent evening, location is marvellously hidden, food amazing, and great service. This is a gem of a restaurant.

To put it simply. This was probably the best Indian meal I've ever had (and I've had quite a few). The food was excellent. I had a lanb rogan josh, which was to die for. Very rich and full of flavour. The meat was so tender! The service was excellent and very attentive. The prices are slightly more expensive but well worth it for the standard of food. So why have I not awarded 5 stars ? Well, the restaurant charge a 12 per cent service charge which is added to the bill. That's OK but on top of that the card machine gives the option of leaving a tip of 5 percent upwards. Service charge AND a tip ? I think that's a bit much. Hence for out of five stars

Brilliant Indian cuisine, probably the best curry I've ever had in the UK. The complexity and depth of flavours was amazing and the staff were very friendly. The whole setting was superb.

We had the best Sunday lunch we have had in a very long time. Everything was perfectly cooked and the portions were fantastic. The service was brilliant and the ambience of the restaurant was just lovely. We also ordered our breakfasts and a lunch for our accommodation which were beautifully cooked and delicious.

Lovely quiet park in a beautiful location with access to canal walks within 5 mins. Also 15 min walk to nearest village and train station which meant everywhere was very accessible. All staff made us feel very welcome. One meal in restaurant - Indian menu. Again service great, food good. Our lodge was very dark but surrounded by trees so also meant lots of privacy. Clean and well maintained. Hot tub was lovely. Overall would definitely recommend.

Delicious food, especially the Indian cuisine. Always eat here when staying. Takeaway service available. Breakfast is fabulous and the restaurant atmosphere is lovely.
