Hildrews in Gateshead

While my daughter shopped I popped in here for an oat milk latte and was served by a woman who to be honest looked like she didn’t want to be there. I paid for my drink and waited patiently, the lady who was making the drink said it was ready. I politely asked if it was the oat milk latte and the woman who had taken my order barked at me that’s not what you ordered. I explained I ordered an oat latte and she snapped at me, that’s not what you asked for with a very stern look. I explained I don’t drink milk and I wouldn’t have asked for anything other than what I ordered. The lady then demanded another 60p from me which I proceeded to pay. I could see the woman who was making the drink was rather embarrassed and said it was ok to me. I won’t be returning here to be spoken too like that and she needs to learn some manner and put a smile on her face. Extremely disappointed .

Had some chips from robs last night 10/1/25 been ill since having them been sick all day so won't be back

One of the best Chinese takeaways in Gateshead, food is always hot and ready with 15 minutes every time. Only negative is they don’t deliver.

Lovely pub. Jimmy is always on hand to help with beer choices.

Rotten food, Chicken over cooked, Kebab meat under cooked, what ever the other meat was was disgusting my dog didnt even touch it.. asked gor pitta bread that was stale.. waited over an hour after delivery time cold on arrival.. DO NOT RECOMEND.. 17:50 Dwn the drain
