Hill Murry Indian restaurant and takeaway in Rugby

Had a delivery last night.. Stunning.. Im suprised i didnt expect it to be that good. £35 pricey but worth it.

It's been nearly 3 hours since I ordered my food, it was promised at 18:50 which was a long wait itself and its now 20:28, its new years eve so I imagine they're busy, but don't promise a time if you can't meet it. Maybe it'll turn up by next year and I can enjoy my nice cold Biryani. I tried calling the store multiple times and when the line wasn't busy, no one bothered to answer then phone. Thanks for nothing

Awful. Took hours for the food to arrive.

I had the set meal for 1, great value for money and they chucked in a nice freebie. I can't fault anything, it arrived early, was hot and delicious. definitely my new place to go when I fancy Indian food again

Went for dinner here last night for my mums birthday. All the young men greeting us and serving us were amazing and the food was absolutely delicious

Good potion size and really tasty but took absolutely ages to arrive

Excellent food, loads of flavour in the curry and naan and really tender meat. On top of all that they threw in a few poppadoms and bhajis for free too.

Food was fresh, relay and portion size was spot on. The freebies were a lovely touch

Your system gave the vendor the wrong address ? Do they phoned to confirm address But your system caused them to be late

Asked if they would change it from collection to delivery, no problem, after 5 phones calls and a 2 hr wait food arrived Luke warm and a very disappointed family

The food was outstanding as always. Still arrived piping hot and there was so much food it lasted for lunch the next day. It was late but I wouldn’t mind that if the fact that the app had said it was delivered when it wasn’t. If the tracking was more accurate then I wouldn’t have marked it down but definitely can’t fault the restaurant

I ordered lamb madras, and this has JUST arrived, definitely not a madras. There is no kick or spice or flavour to it at all. Took over an hour to arrive so not even worth calling to complain as wouldn’t be here for even longer. Pretty disappointed

Ordered 3 extra popodoms to add to the ones that come with the meal and also added lots more dips to go with them and I've only had 3 popodoms turn up .

Did not enjoy. Curry’s were not spiced correctly, rice was average, chips undercooked. Would not go to again

We have eaten in the restaurant and been really happy. However the takeaway was awful. Not to the quality expected and just tasteless and soggy. Very disappointing.

my takeaway got delivered to the wrong address and absolutely ruined my romantic evening in, I'm not very happy and my food was cold

Should of arrived between 18:05-18:25 arrived at 18:55 app said delivered at 18:25…

Starters were good, extras given but the main was absolutely terrible, bland, sauce was lumpy and like baby food very disappointing. Never again 👎

such lovely curry from this place and we always have a lovely meal. we were missing a rice but we pinged a bag in the microwave so not the end of the world.

Ordered early 5.20 came 7.05 after i called said be 5 minutes, then 30 minutes later it came. Shame became nice food.

This has been my pregnancy craving for the last 3 months, i must of ordered over 20 times🫣 but tonight REALLY dissapointed. Chips are barely cooked and naan bread tastes funny. Sad

Was told after ordering at 7:05 that delivery would be between 8:15 & 8:30, which seemed a long time but okay as it was a busy Saturday, but foods didn’t arrive until 9:05. Was very good as usual but just far too late

Totally worth the wait. The food was absolutely delicious and the best Indian takeaway away we've had so far since moving to rugby. I think we had a Naan bread missing but to be honest we didn't need it we had more than enough. I ordered the set menu for 2people with an extra curry for the 3rd person and there was plenty. I have a house of fussy eaters who are just starting to expand their palates so we had mild curries, they were cooked beautifully with generous portions & lots of flavour.

Delivery was quick but food mediocre.. popadoms were missing, chips were soggy and the korma was watery. Sorry won’t be ordering from here again.

Have used hill murry a few times now. Never had a bad meal, has always turned up. For me has to be best in town. Keep up the good work guys. Will continue ordering my curry from you

Lovely Set Meals as usual. A slight shame on the ‘spicy chips’, they were more like soggy french fries with no spice to them at all. The curry’s didn’t have the same level of spice to them as usual but still really enjoyable. Delivery took a while, just over 1hr 30mins but it arrived in the end!

Great takeaway place. Food always arrives super hot and they always throw in additional freebies. Will definitely be ordering from here again

Best Indian restaurant in the area without doubt. All dishes are very generous ,delicious, full of flavour and actually taste as you would expect.Staff are courteous and friendly and nothing is too much trouble.Service is very good and restaurant is clean with nice decor. Will be back.

Food is fantastic. Chef is from Bangladesh. Food is top quality and cooked fresh. Chicken Tikka is wonderful. Impeccable service. Staff eager to ensure you have a great meal. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing service! Collected order, even very kindly changed my order eventhough they had already started cooking. I explained it wasn't a problem for me, just a preference and I'd forgot to put in the comments, but they went above and beyond and restarted my chosen dish, which I thought was extremely kind. All staff were polite, it was ready in record time, and they even carried it to the car for me! lovely people, lovely place, and more importantly, lovely food!

Never really order take out anymore as we always end up disappointed. Not this time, honestly this was so so good everything about it was superb and full of flavour! First time ordering from here and will NOT be the last! even got a few extras. Thankyou 10/10.

Delivery with a smile. Lovely quality tasty food, and extras too.

Food was tepid and the poppadoms were soggy when it arrived. We didn't get the chocolate fudge cake, which was not communicated beforehand, and got some ice cream alternatives instead. I had to phone to chase up the delivery as it was 30 mins late, and the alternatives were not mentioned.

Oder was mixed up slightly with my wife having a lamb Rogan Josh when she ordered a chicken one. My Lamb korma ended up being a beef one . But no complaints as the food was wonderful with great portions and piping hot. Will be ordering again .

Ordered online. Ordered a set meal for 2 . What a disappointment. Had tandoori chicken starter which was a bone covered in tandoori sauce..also had mixed tandoori kebab starter which tasteless and boring. 2x chicken tikka rogan josh . Curry was watery and so was the rice. Would not recommend or purchase agin .waste of over £30.

The delivery was really late, and h the food was lukewarm when it arrived, they added a lamb dish to my order even though I didn’t order one, I’m a vegetarian! So that was horrible. The food was black and really awful ! Don’t order form this place !!!

Stole my food. Marked it as delivered but no delivery and no answer on phone

I ordered the food at 7.50 it arrived at 10 pm. awful and no apology. .

Ordered foot at 6pm for 8pm. At just before 8pm we were told that the food on its way. App marked it as ‘on the way’. Phoned restaurant at 8:45 to be told it hadn’t yet left. Food arrived just before 9:30pm. Not good from a delivery point of view.

Over an hour late. Was marked as delivered over an hour ago. They can't even be bothered to answer the phone

My order was due to be delivered by 20:55 at the latest but it was delivered ridiculously late! Hill Murray blamed it on a high number of orders and not enough delivery drivers. That may be true but it would've been nice to have been notified that my delivery would be late as they have my number attached to my order. It eventually arrived over an hour late.
