Hilton in Manchester

With my daughter we booked at the bar on the 23rd floor for a cocktail and I must admit that the view is splendid. There was half an hour until sunset so we were also able to appreciate the night view of Manchester. Great choice of cocktails, shame the pretzels weren't that great. If you are in those parts you must book to access the bar on the 23rd floor.

A bit tired now, but good location.

Excellent location, prompt and efficient reception desk and adequate room. I gave 4 star because there were no plug points next to the bed to charge the phone and use it as an alarm. Breakfast is phenomenally good with excellent choice. I would recommend Hilton unreservedly

Popped in for a look at the view from the Cloud 23 bar at The Hilton and stayed for a Cocktail 🍾🥂. The views are excellent & the cocktails were 'the icing on the cake'. I had a NYX it was delicious 👍☺️. Do go, Snacks & afternoon tea are served too. The service was 'above & beyond' 👏👏.

Nice rooms but small queen bed and cold twin room. Podium bar food awful and beer flat. DO NOT park in the NCP as you are likely to have something stolen from your car with a key scanner. Happened to us with a locked car. Bag taken from boot.

Went for a 1 night stay for a Christmas doo at the Exhibition centre near by. Great location with stunning views. Close to metro and trains for travelling in out of town and avoiding the nightmare traffic on Deansgate. Wouldnt bother trying to park in centre car parks, costs a foretune and not very secure

Hilton has been a great hotel and my wife and I were happy when we first walked in. However, there were a few things that really disappointed us. The staff did not efficiently manage to fix the Jacuzzi’s TV screen which was not working at all. We were told that someone would have come to our room and replaced the batteries but nobody showed up even requesting a second time at the front desk. Secondly, we requested room service two cups of hot water in the morning as we needed it to take our medicine but the staff member on the phone did not quite understand our request. Thirdly, the £50 holding deposit is somewhat silly as I’d rather pay when checking out if any drinks or anything additional in the room were used. Although we were in the executive room, drinks should be free as we paid extra for the upgrade. When I received the holding deposit I noticed the full refund was not processed accurately so I had to call the billing department just to find out that the rest of the deposit was still pending. Wouldn’t be convenient to fully refund the deposit at once when all the checks are done on their end?! The above are issues we wanted to point out and we hope they can be addressed not just for us but for its customers as well! In overall, I would recommend the hotel management to

Checked 2 nights 30 dec to 1 Jan experience extremely disappointing if not a nightmare for my daughter who had to change her room twice in few words hotel poorly maintained although built 2017 one elevator out of three out of order guests had to line up house keeping extremely neglecting our calls no quality control for proper refill shower gel or lotion cream breakfast on new year had dry bread which should not be presented the only bright positive thing was duty manager called Anna can’t deny her huge positive impact which highly respect

Stayed there last Saturday NEVER ever have a stayed in such a COLD hotel Air con on full blast in the reception, bars and breakfast area. Asked several times if it could be turned off and they kept saying they’d inform the manager. They clearly didn’t! Had to keep going back to my room to warm up - as it was an evening awards ceremony and so had an evening dress in. In the end had to go down in my winter coat! Other minus’s *£400 a night room - no dressing gown or bar *No water in the room * squeaking noises through the night that kept me awake * the breakfast cold bar not replenished * fresh bread being cut by customers not wearing gloves so handheld by many people * No Room service - rang off the hook- no response - tried several times It was a One star experience.very disappointing

Lovely hotel, unbelievable in fact. But if it weren't for the fact we got the room for free from friends, who in their right mind would pay nearly £400 for one night's stay. It's absolutely ridiculous. It was a really nice hotel, but it wasn't £400 nice. That being said, the room was lovely, the beds were comfy, view was amazing and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. Lovely location too, still not worth that kind of money though 😅. Also, I don't know if it was the wind or not, but there was so much creaking behind the walls that for the first half hour or trying to sleep it was driving me crazy, got used to it after that though. The bathrooms were nice but you'd think they'd splash on slow closing toilet lids for the price, also slow closing cabinet doors in the rooms. Having a fridge was a big bonus though.

Stay let down by lack of facilities later in evening, arrived late but before midnight expecting to get at least a drink and a snack. Tried to get drink in one bar only to be turned away as it was full. Told to go to residents bar but that was closed. Advised to use room service but that was a 50 minute wait and only 1 item of food available.

Let start that Hilton is normally where we stay. The staff were efficient and very friendly. In general a good place to stay, very close to restaurants and shops. Lounge area is nice be check, you have a nice view of the old city center. The rooms have a nice space, but because humidity, some corridors can be a little smelly and is far due renovation in some of the areas.

Good to stay with you again. All good. no issues & great service as ever.

Don't be put off by the sign saying that there are only places for pre-booked visitors - the helpful concierge encouraged us to go up to the 23rd floor and enjoy ourselves. We were escorted there by a senior member of staff (manager?) and made to feel very welcome as we sipped cocktails and munched on a wonderful platter of salami, cheese, olives etc

The hotel is central with plenty of parking options. I used the car park over the road which was 30 seconds from the hotel entrance. Check-in was okay, nothing out of the ordinary despite being a gold member. 2 out of 3 lifts working but at least they were quick. The room, decor wise was nice, as expected, good sized TV and usual room facilities. The bathroom had a shower over the bath, it was so powerful that it sprayed all over the place, the head wasn’t fixed correctly it seemed. However no big deal, as the bathroom was nice and spacious. My only complaint or improvement area for the room was the bed. It was very squeaky, seemed quite old and a bit small and uncomfortable. I’ve stayed 50+ times in Hilton’s in the past couple of years and this was the most uncomfortable bed and smallest I’ve stayed in.

Would have rated 5 points if there wouldnt have been that issue at arrival, where I was told I booked only one room instead of two and O had to prove myself that I was right with mails and credit card booking. The explanation of that I checked in only one room with the hlton app sounded weak (I checked in both), as no room was allocated. If that is the problem,maybe deactive the check in function. Worse, no appoligize was given for the mistake Beside that, great location, great room, great excecutive lounge with very friendly and warm staff, same great treatment reveived during breakfast and at departure. Breakfast buffet is really good and there is also a gym including pool.

Hilton MD is magnificent hotel of choice when it comes to services, rooms and locations where everything is at the few steps.

I can offer years of experience, excellent procedurel skills, maturity, and a good professional reputation.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Manchester on a Saturday, and it was, without a doubt, one of the most devastating experiences I've ever had in a hotel. From the moment I stepped into my room, I was met with utter disappointment. The room was poorly cleaned, with visible dirt and grime that made me question if it had been cleaned at all. It was truly appalling to see such a lack of basic hygiene standards at a supposedly reputable hotel. What made matters worse was the complete disregard for customer service. I called the front desk multiple times, desperately trying to get someone to address the cleanliness issue, but my concerns were ignored time and time again. It felt as though my complaints fell on deaf ears, and the staff couldn’t care less about the state of the room or my experience. As if that wasn't enough, the ordeal didn't end when I checked out. I was supposed to receive my deposit back, along with compensation that had been promised for the subpar experience. But, shockingly, neither was returned to me. The hotel simply decided to keep my money without any explanation or apology. This level of negligence and dishonesty is absolutely unacceptable. To say this was a shitty experience would be an understatement. The Hilton Manchester failed on every possible front—cleanliness, customer service, and basic honesty. I will never, ever suggest this hotel to anyone. If you value your peace of mind and hard-earned money, stay far away from this place. It was a nightmare I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

My recent stay at Hilton Manchester Deansgate was nothing short of a disaster. Despite having stayed at various Hilton properties worldwide, this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. Upon arrival, my room was dusty, and the cooling system wasn't working. The floor and furniture were dirty and discoloured with visible spots—completely unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed calibre. To make matters worse, the staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. Despite repeated requests, no issues were resolved in a timely manner. I was left waiting on the phone for hours and forced to visit the front desk multiple times, only to be met with further delays and no solutions. Even something as basic as getting water delivered to the room turned into an ordeal, and when it finally arrived, it wasn't even cold. This stay was meant to be a birthday celebration, but instead, it became a nightmare. I had heard good things about Hilton Deansgate from friends and colleagues, but it turned out to be the worst hotel experience of my life. The condition of the room, coupled with the lack of customer service, made this stay deeply disappointing. Hilton Manchester Deansgate has truly tarnished my view of the Hilton brand. I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.

Out of 4 bookings for this hotel, 3 times we were given a room with separate beds! My wife and I booked a hotel for significant events. The staff does not cooperate and each time rudely replies that the hotel is full! But the website shows available rooms. The rooms themselves are beautiful, but because of such negligence towards guests, we will not be there again. In general, the entire hotel staff is not very friendly. I think for Hilton this is not a very good presentation in a hotel in the center of Manchester.

Looking very tired not worth the price. Currently staying here and very Disappointed. Stains on carpet, broken tiles in bathroom damaged furniture, wonky furniture. Small pillows More like a star hotel. And a constant humming noise from above somewhere At check in not told breakfast times, or where breakfast would be, not told where the bars and restaurant were, or anything else, not a 4 star service, even the info part on the television does not work

Hilton is synonymous with 5 stars! Unfortunately, Hilton Deansgate does not. Our room smelt of smoke, there were dirt marks on the carpet, we had a towel with a hole in it! Clouds Bar was great for cocktails and views. Staff generally good. However, I needed change and the receptionist said the hotel does not hold cash. She sent me to the bar, at 10am. The waitress said the bar does not operate at that time. Surely a 5 star hotel can assist guests in a better way. In conclusion, Hilton Deansgate does not meet the 5 star standards I have come to appreciate with the Hilton brand.

Was in town attending one of the Liam Gallagher shows at CO-OP Live. The hotel was brilliant staff were very friendly when entering. Offered us a free upgrade upon entry and gave us a discount code for the NCP parking across the road. The hotel is within walking distance of the city centre. Rooms were nice and clean. Exactly what you’d expect from a Hilton!

Hello, I am a Diamond member planning a one night stay on 8/8. Just before I hit the reservation button on the Hilton app, I discovered a notice. <Evening canapé service will be offered on Fridays, Saturdays, and bank holiday Sundays.> The day I plan to stay is Thursday. Then, isn't the Executive Lounge's cocktail hour open? Since our evening plans may vary depending on whether the lounge is open or not, I am leaving my questions here. Thanks for reading.

Visit for afternoon tea, very nice

Amazing experience at the Hilton again. We got the King deluxe this time, which meant we were higher up on the 18th floor. The room was very spacious, with beautiful views of Manchester. We were happy to have a view from a different angle this time round so that we could see the other side of the city.The pool and jacuzzi were excellent, and we loved the fact that you could go without having to book a slot, as we have found in other hotels. The breakfast at the Podium was a buffet style with lots to choose from. They offered cold meats, cheeses, breads, and hot breakfasts, along with hot and cold beverages. I would recommend a visit to the cloud for a few cocktails, the views again are fantastic at night, when all the lights are lit up. Nice vibe and staff overall were very accomodating. Cant wait until we come back.My only negative to this hotel is each time i have been i have been told they do not have a room for families of 3 or more unless you book the presidential suite at £1000 plus a night, i find this extremely disppointing, that a hotel of this standard cannot offer a room to accomodate my husband and my daughter unless i book the presidential suite or pay for an additional room, which defeats the object of a family stay, especially when the Midland and the Edwardian do offer this.

Stayed there 15-17th of May. Left my trousers in the closet of room 711. After calling the hotel was informed nothing was found in the room. Another words staff of the hotel have stolen my trousers. Worst customer service possible.

Nice hotel overall, the water wasn't working when we got there which they didn't tell us beforehand. In a good location but pricey for what it is.

Phoned and enquired about a day pass to use the Living well facilities I.e Gym and spa facilities. I was informed, by a polite member of staff, that it was £15 Monday to Friday and £20 weekends, And we agreed on a 3pm slot. The receptionist was also helpful in letting me know where to park on arrival, appreciated. Initially I thought £15 was a bit much for a day pass, but it is The Hilton and we are in Manchester, home of the Biggest English Premiership Club. Well no disappointments here and you get more than value for money. Excellent and polite customer Service on arrival at Main Hilton Reception and directed upstairs to the Livingwell area, where the excellent customer service continued. James Key( I asked for his name to provide this feedback) was very helpful in providing me with all the information and directions I needed. Even when I needed more advice and James was dealing with another client on the phone you could see how professional he was and was apologetic for making me wait. I spent over 3hrs here altogether..... Enjoying.the gym facilities, which had all modern upto date equipment. Cardio machines and weights area. Great big windows all round with views looking out over into the streets of Manchester while you are on the Treadmill and other cardio equipment. The spa facilities are exceptional...beautiful surroundings, big changing rooms with toilets and showering areas. Nice big jacuzzi, long swimming pool, lovely hot sauna and steam rooms. Relaxation area after sauna etc.. Very clean and well maintained, what you would Expect from the Hilton Franchise and Name. A five star Facilty with a five star customer service. Highly recommended to join the membership or day pass.👌💯😀
