HK Fish Bar in North Lincolnshire

We ordered some food very disappointed with the service we have told them to doublecheck before we they put everything in the bag and unfortunately there was three items was missing plus we asked for beans they give us a okra

Heard the food isn't very good

Firstly it is not HK fish bar anymore it is Pasha a Turkish restaurant and take away, called in for first time last Friday for a takeaway what amazing food, staff very friendly and helpful, just great will go back again.

Great fish and chips, good price and quality scran.

Ordered a large haddock and chips but chip portion looked small, however food was good quality and tasted great. A bit expensive but worth it in the end

Greeted with a friendly smile from the staff members..paid elevn pounds seventy and took my seat at one of the tables to wait prob 10 mins for food. It was brought to the table which was a nice touch..Food arrived hot and the portion size was good.Staff seem very friendly and even asked me half way through my meal if every thing was ok and could they get me anything else. Food was well presented and btw the curry sauce is to die for. Will be deffo a returning customer to this friendly tasty chippy.!!

Desi Restaurant in Scunthorpe Town. Some Halal chicken available. Fish was fresh and good. Chips were not fresh. Price is okaish. Not a bad place to go specially if its winter and raining.

Wanted to leave an "honest" review of this place after our 3rd visit. Seen several recent 1 star reviews that seem to be unnecessary and don't elaborate on reasons. Everytime we have come in we have been greeted by friendly, helpful staff. Food arrives quickly and is hot and tasty. Batter crispy, not greasy and fish fresh. Chips equally nice. Cannot understand why this place isn't packed. Great value, great food and great staff, on all of our visits, so cannot understand or believe the handful of negative feedback.

Food always good here and staff always friendly/kind. Looks like the negative reviews are not related to the actual food and some personal vendetta against the owners: harassment comes to mind.

Pretty terrible place. Owner kept going on about cars parked outside or something.

Horrible. Frozen fish I could get from a supermarket. Watery mushy peas. Banginging curry though.

I love chips and travel around the country and love to try chips where ever I go ~ hoping to one day, in my opinion, to find Britain’s best chips ~ this place it ain’t, looks i nice chippy from the outside but as they served up my chips I didn’t have the heart to say they looked “tired” so paid for them eat a few and put the rest in the bin ~ my quest continues

Great tasting haddock and chips and cod and chips. We were the only people in there eating at around 5.30pm on a Tuesday evening, very bright lights and a TV blaring pop music videos we could have done without but the food was very good, great batter as well!

Absolutely fantastic freshly cooked food. I had the chicken curry the wife had fish and chips. Kids had panini. All was made to order and delicious. Highly recommend 👌

Finally found a fish n chip shop in Scunthorpe i can rave about!! 😀 Trust me you won't be disappointed i promise you! I am a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to fish! And will travel far and wide to find a nice one. I have tried over a dozen chippies in Scunthorpe that doesn't come nowhere near as good as HK Everything is made fresh to order, but like in every restaurant they'll be a bit of a wait, but let me tell you it'll be worth it. We now go at least twice a week, it is clean, nice people and reasonably priced. The fish is amazingly white with lovely golden crispy batter and the chips are as good as, if not, home made and your side/sauce comes in a good sized rammakin. Please people you really need to go when you're in town, tell them i sent you 😀 Enjoy x

Wait over half an hour for food, orded 2 fish specials with peas and a child's sausage chips and beans and we all ended with child's meals. Both coffees cane with milk in even tho was supposed to be black this was changed but came in the same cup as you could see the milky coffee spilt down the side of the mug. And the place was freezing, Definitely won't return

Fish and chips with curry sauce was very tasty! I will recommend HK fish Bar. If you don’t taste the food you won’t know it. So I suggest dine in or take out or delivery.

Chips were nice light and fluffy the fish was nice and the curry and beans were spot on would highly recommend this place to any one

Brand new proper chippy in town centre, very spacious, and tidy. All staff were very polite, courteous and friendly. Superb huge piece of really juicy haddock, cooked to perfection. Tasty chips and great curry sauce. Fast efficient service with a smile. Spot on!! 👍😎

Since most new businesses need a few days to settle, so I am always a little wary before ordering. However, Aunty is a professional working behind the counter. Fish cake, beans, curry sauce, and cod fish and chips were all prepared to perfection. I wish the HK Fish Bar team nothing but success...Excellent execution!!!

Went and bought a large fish.. and small fish special very disappointed .. Firstly the fish is not fresh and has a disgusting taste that I wouldn’t even give to my dog. The portion of chips with my special was like what you would give a toddler .. just save you’re money and avoid like the plague
