Hohaki in Tower Hamlets

Restaurante de basura en Londres. Vengo de Berkshire para probar durante la hora de apertura 11 am. He llegado a las 11: 30 am pero dicen chef no listo y necesita más 1 hora. Así que vuelvo a las 12: 30 y esperando 20 minutos hasta las 12 : 50 y todavía no abierto. Finalmente, perdono y voy a otro restaurante a almorzar. Esto es terrible y decepcionante😞. No hay otra oportunidad... ¡Basura!

I love this place. The staff are very friendly, the food is always excellent and always fresh. They cook everything right in front of you, and you're never left waiting more than a few mins (unless you order the slow-drip coffee!). 100% recommended!

Encontré este lugar cuando se hospedaba en un hotel cercano por trabajo. El personal de la comida y el servicio son excelentes, pero la comida en sí es lo mejor, excelente sabor, excelentes porciones, comí allí varias veces y nunca tuve una mala comida.

Encontré esto cerca de mi hotel. Recibí una cálida bienvenida del personal, la comida llegó rápidamente y fue increíblemente sabrosa. El arroz con pollo era fantástico ya un precio muy razonable y volveré mañana para probar el resto del menú.

In London overnight and staying near Tower Hill. Wanted something outside the normal tourist places to eat. Having read the TA reviews decided on the short walk to Hohaki. Great find and although the place was small was seated straight away and ordered the spicy chicken broth and the grilled chicken with rice. Broth arrived and it was a massive bowl of very tasty and fragrant fine noodles with chicken. Just managed to eat it and so took the grilled chicken dish as takeaway. Both dishes absolutely fabulous and very tasty. Very reasonable price. Recommend to anyone.

I absolutely love the food! In a very small and quaint environment, which is clearly run by an authentic family, with genuine recipes, I dined on fabulous food! The service was quick, the selection of home-made drinks was outstanding, but my Bun Hue was as good as being in Vietnam! Good, simple, wholesome food, that is clearly cooked with love. I will definitely return on another cold night to savour this perfectly balanced noodle soup. Yummy!

Bring your own booze. Fantastic food. The summer and spring rolls, dumplings and the chicken curry (and green rice) were all fantastic. Curry had great flavour. My friend had grilled chicken and rice and this got a positive review as well.

Food is on the oilier side here but tasty. I had the pho here and the broth is rich enough (richer than Pho at least), while my friend had the curry. Service was as would be expected courteous and food atrived quickly. Would be great as a quick lunchime spot.

We went to this place and found it so savory! Chicken curry and dumpling sets are tasty, good portions! And you will see that the staff is super friendly, the service is fast. You should grab dinner there!!

My favourite Vietnamese restaurant, reminds me of Saigon. Great prices, friendly staff, delicious food. Keeps us coming back

We popped in for a meal while in the area. The restaurant is small but nice and clean The staff are friendly and we asked for suggestions of what to pick and opted for the noodle salad and curry with some starters The food arrived quickly with the freshly made drinks The starters were excellent . Nice and fresh and good flavours The mains then arrived Were fresh and good sized portions Good quality food slightly lacking in flavour but added chilli sauce to give it a kick. Would visit again

The service and staff were the best. It's a small, seemingly family run and familiar smelling small eatery in the by lanes of this part of town. The food, on the other hand, was rather a let down. The explosion of Far eastern flavours, well, were conspicuous by their absence.

Staff are very helpful and recommended us some dishes to try, chicken curry was very nice, portions are plentiful, came out stuffed, would recommend but the drink I had was some carrot herb drink, I didn’t enjoy that very much

Good Poh - very good prices at lunchtime - you'll find the same menu in the evening, but more expensive. Ideal for a quick and healthy lunch break - small place so you sit where you find a spot, you may end up sharing the table with strangers

After a busy day touring across London we were happy to seek shelter from the rain and soothe our hungry tummies with their yummy hot food!

I order pho beef brisket everytime! Came in today for a takeaway and they gave me 2 piece of unknown leaves and lettuce for garnish??? hahahaha where are the beansprout and the normal garnish. The lettuce just doesnt go with pho. it makes it taste...

We had a Pho Bo and spring rolls. Both had a fine taste and quality ingredients. I rarely encountered a Pho in Europe, that tasted that good and just like in Vietnam! Don't miss out on this hidden gem!

I thank god my boyfriend booked the Travelodge down the street from this place because I never would’ve looked here We wanted a quick bite before heading to Harrods and by the time we decided and ordered we had the food in front of us...

Visited with a friend just as opening at 5 pm and greeted with a warm welcome. We shared some dim sum and had a pho each. Fresh and delicious flavours all cooked from fresh and a bargain at £20 for two. Will definitely be back!

Really wanted Pho for lunch and found this plac pe close to where I needed to be. I ate in, it’s a small place that is buzzing. While I was in there, queues for takeaway were out the door but food was delivered very efficiently...

The beef and especially the pork bun cha are second to none with lots of healthy mango salad and herbs included. Perfect generous portions and excellent price for the quality. I work nearby and go to Hohaki at least once a week for a takeaway....

Love this place. Regularly go on a friday evening for a quick easy and above all tasty dinner. The venue offers ample seating and the service is always super friendly and helpful. The food, ok disclaimer... i have my fav's and haven't explored the whole...

Really impressed with the food from Hohaki, a perfect combination of speed, price and taste. Not the most innovative/ exciting stuff but the grilled meat is very good and I would happily take this for a lunchtime on any day.

This a wonderful place to eat. The food is delicious, fresh and healthy - I've eaten everything off the menu. All staff wear gloves its very clean! Great value food.

Queues out the door at lunch for great bahn mi, pho and bun hue. Tables at the back that 9 months ago were empty are now always filled. Lovely people. Prices quickly gone up as they become more popular

Solo visit whilst staying in the area on business. Simple menu (even more so as they’d run out of pork) but what they had on offer was delicious - I had prawn crackers, prawn summer rolls and fish curry - all in a fresh, lively...

Since we luckily found this small Vietnamese restaurant, we regularly go there for our dinner. Although there aren't many dishes on the menu, the food is fresh and generous whereas the prices are set reasonable. We always end up ordering their signature dish 'Hohaki chicken'...
