Food portions good. Service tried but war awkward . Greek pitta place which don’t have feta on menu I found out of this word 🤣 price normal for Greek restaurant.

We came here for a quick meal as part of a night out in the area, not a local. Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere, staff are happy to give a reccomendation off the menu. Service was quick, and the kitchen was open, very clean and tidy. Food quality was superb. I had the holy mix plate, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the pork steak plate. The tzatziki was incredibly tasty, and there was plenty of it. Portion size was generous without being too much, definitely good value for money.

The chef was so rude towards his coworkers and to us. Such a bad attitude and shouting for no reason. I feel bad for the people who have to work with him, go somewhere else there are plenty of restaurants nearby

The owner turfed me out for no good reason. I came in just for a drink and to charge my phone. I explained this to the staff before entering, and 20 minutes later I was told to leave by the owner.

Llevo un tiempo buscando un auténtico restaurante griego en Londres. Por alguna razón, la cocina griega es difícil de recrear fuera de Grecia - bueno, la búsqueda ha terminado como la encontramos en Holy Pitta. Los sabores son auténticos y nos transportaron directamente de vuelta a una isla griega. La comida es excelente, el lugar está impecable y los precios muy razonables. Lávalo con una botella crujiente de Mythos, siéntate y disfruta.

Couldnt finish the meal because lamb pieces were very chewy and had to have the vegetables and throw the meat. Disappointed

There were issues with the delivery and when I rang the restaurant the person was very rude he kept speaking over me and was very arrogant.

Food was delicious 😋 . Friendly service. The tastiest fries 🍟 I have ever tried. Really tasty pita, well seasoned meats, delicious sources. Recommended.

Had a quiet lunch here today. The pork gyros could not have been better. Perfectly seasoned, and hands down the best pitta in London. Together the best Greek gyros I’ve ever had, and the service was friendly and efficient. Beautifully spotless toilets as well…this is necessary to scrub the TfL germs off your hands before getting into the huge portion gyros (which is a “one man two hands” meal for oneself. No sharing my chips has been added to my first date “hard red lines” list) soz ladeeez! Free tap water too when eating in. Another tick for the Holy Pitta! So is now My new GOTO in angel for breakfast lunch diner and brunch. Or when struggling with a hangover or passing into a carb free hypoglycaemia coma after running the gauntlet of highgate to Highbury on foot TfL. Sorry I wish I had photos!! But that’s a reason to go back!! Tomorrow!!

We come here all the time and always have the best food and service! Such a gem in Angel. 10/10 recommend the halloumi wrap.

The food is fantastic the lady who served me was great however the chef is a really bad very disrespectful of the waitress I walked in two chef on board and one waitress a table of four in the restaurant The waitress is at the back making the drink for the table ready so I'm waiting The chef instead to say hi and ask me what I want started to shout at the waitress to take my order She said she's coming While she is serving the table the chef shout at her again for her to serve me and after ask me what I wanted I had to tell him to don't worry that she was serving at the table and that I could wait I just don't understand this kind of guy they were not busy at all he could have take my order himself befor even shouting at her knowing that she was doing something on the contrary of him An Anyway big love to that waitress and chef thanks god you cooking well cause you attitude is really bad

En realidad le daría a este lugar una calificación de 2 1 / 2 no del todo un 3! He estado aquí un par de veces y cada vez he notado que está empeorando! Pedí un envoltorio de falafel ya que no como carne... y mi amigo pidió un envoltorio de cordero sin cebolla... Cuando llegó la comida el hombre me dio el cordero diciendo que era falafel, por suerte la camarera vio y corrió antes de que yo tomara un bocado. . entonces me di cuenta de que las papas fritas parecían viejas, marrones, demasiado crujientes y frías. . cuando le pedí al hombre que las cambiara se quejó en su idioma era obvio que estaba hablando de mí. . . el cocinero se llevó las papas fritas y me compró unas frescas. . . mi amiga había pedido que no hubiera cebollas ya que tiene una reacción a ellas, le dieron cebollas. . . La comida aquí es tan promedio . . . las envolturas están simplemente bien . . . y las patatas fritas suelen estar frías y te dan unos 8 en el año de envoltura! ! ! . . no volver y no recomendaría . . . hombre mayor muy grosero que trabaja allí . . ¡No se ofrecen disculpas!

We had a great time amazing atmosphere and a very very great host Shandrika who recommended a beautiful dish.

My siblings and I came to Holy Pitta for birthday celebrations. We tried the chicken souvlaki, lamb souvlaki, and kontosouvi. It was absolutely delicious and the staff were so kind providing recommendations and double checking my allergies. I highly recommend them!

Holypitta is a good place to dine in and take away also. They have really got a very fantastic customer service and food they provide is fully satisfactory, especially the halloumi and falafel they are like my favorite recipes out there. I highly recommend to visit with you family and friends Do not miss to try there yummy deserts🤤

This is honestly the worst ‘Greek’ food I’ve ever eaten. I ordered on Uber Eats and firstly everything came soggy as they put the salad (covered in oil) in the same box as the meat chips and bread. I wouldn’t have minded if the food actually tasted good but the chips were undercooked, the chicken tasted old and had a weird texture and the salad was also old and soggy. I also ordered dolmades (I will add a photo) which I couldn’t even bring myself to try as they were swimming in a container of cloudy juice and soggy lettuce. Very disappointing and would not recommend!

I have to say out of ALL the Greek restaurants I have tried in London, the food quality here was the best. I love the tzatziki which actually had some garlic in THANK YOU! Mistika on the menu YESSSS!!! Felt very Greek with Greek music in the background. Also love the had a winter art on the walls in side really giving that Greek feel. Great meal !

I got the gyros and the meat, the bread, the chips all tasted nice and fresh. Even if the chips get a bit soggy due to it being delivered, putting in the air fryer works fine becasue the chips are seasoned well. Meat qas succulent and not dry.

WORST EXPERIENCE of my life I had the misfortune of visiting and it was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. The manager was unbelievably rude, continuously shouting and screaming at me and my friend for no apparent reason. It was shocking and utterly disrespectful. To make matters worse, his behavior seemed to have a racist undertone, which is completely unacceptable in any setting, let alone a restaurant. It's beyond me how someone like him could be allowed to manage a place that serves the public.The only saving grace of the evening was the girl who was there to help us. She was really nice and tried her best to make up for the horrendous behavior of her superior. It’s a shame that such a lovely employee has to work under someone so awful. I strongly advise anyone considering this place to steer clear. There are plenty of other restaurants where you’ll be treated with the respect and decency that every customer deserves.

AVOID. AVOID. AVOID RACIST/ WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE/ BAD WORST MANAGER / UNFRIENDLY/ I had an absolutely horrendous experience at Holy Pita. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that customer service is not a priority here. The manager, whose name I didn't catch, was particularly appalling. His attitude was beyond unacceptable – he was rude, dismissive, and outright hostile. We were barely greeted when we entered and instead of a warm welcome, we were met with a manager who seemed annoyed by our presence. When we tried to place our order, he was incredibly impatient, rolling his eyes and sighing loudly as if taking our order was an enormous burden. It was clear he had no interest in helping us or ensuring we had a pleasant dining experience. The worst part came when we had a small issue with our order. We politely mentioned that one of our dishes was incorrect, and instead of apologizing or offering to fix it, the manager started shouting at us. Yes, shouting. He accused us of lying and trying to get free food. His behavior was completely unprofessional and downright shocking. We were embarrassed and felt humiliated in front of the other customers. I've never encountered such blatant disrespect from a restaurant manager in my life. It was clear he had no regard for customer satisfaction or basic decency. The rest of the staff seemed intimidated by him and were also unhelpful, likely because they were afraid of getting the same treatment. The whole atmosphere in the restaurant was tense and uncomfortable because of his behavior. To add insult to injury, the food was mediocre at best. Given the terrible service and the manager's appalling behavior, it was not worth the price at all. We left feeling completely dissatisfied and upset. I would strongly advise anyone considering Holy Pita to stay far away. They were not able to provide a receipt.There are plenty of other places with good food and staff who actually treat their customers with respect. Holy Pita is definitely not worth your time or money.

The food is great. Some of the best fries and souvlaki I have had in London. The service was decent, we ordered to takeaway. I wish there was more in the salad - cucumbers and onions and feta. I also find the prices a bit high - the Greek salad especially, not sure if they have a smaller side that is cheaper. But yeah delicious food!

Authentic Greek food fresh and lovely service 😋

Came in to quickly grab something for takeaway. The man serving us was very hostile and also charged me double for the food. We waited around 40 minutes until having to remind them about our order and when telling them about the double charge, the man who served us said they don’t do refunds? And then said to my partner ‘are you sure you didn’t just take the food?’ as if we haven’t been sat there in front of him waiting for the past hour. Never refunded us and food that we finally got after waiting for ages was just average.

Sorry to give one star. Average food, unfriendly service.

OMG I DREAMMM of this place often! It's one of my very favorite places to eat in London. Delicious Greek take away! Highly recommend the souvlaki wrap. So so so yummy. Can't wait to frequent this spot when I'm back in Islington!

Food ok, nothing to write home about. Terrible service - they seem only interested in servicing delivery orders, while guests at the tables were ignored. Waited more than 30 minutes to be served, and even that was incredibly slow despite more staff behind the counter than guests. Not coming back.

Order from here regularly but as trying to save some money I decided to go in to the restaurant to order. Was refused entry with my assistance dog. Tried to explain the law and the man then walked away from me. Tried to contact the manager/owner but they won’t give me a name or contact email address. This is against the law and I will not be ordering from this place again. Accessibility is not as option.

I used to come here around 5 years ago consistently after my A level studies but haven’t dined here until just today, and can confidently say it was good before but now the entire experience was amazing. I don’t know if it was the sun, the nostalgia or the food, but my love for this place has remains unwavering throughout the time I’ve been absent. The recipe has definitely improved (not that it even needed to), but the sauce they use is rich and creamy, which compliments the drier ingredients nicely. We also only got a tiny souvlaki and gyro but it filled us right up ! They also know how to cook halloumi properly which I recommended my friend try for the first time and they adored it. The selection of soft drinks is authentic, as is the atmosphere of the place. I honestly felt as if I was dinning abroad and were no longer in a quaint English town. The servers are professional and respectful. They mind their business too. Rest assured you should be able to feel comfortable here. Lots of seating too.

Not the best greek food but you won't be disappointed!

Today I ordered I asked if they had kontosouvli (in greek) they said they did, I sat down to eat in - they brought me the only 3 bits of kontosouvli meat only and the meat was very tough when it should be tender! I paid £16:50 and was not asked how my food was like the other customers! Very bad food and dish!

Very nice gyro, a very good pita that is full of tasty ingredients and even vegetarians can enjoy it since there really isn't much meat in there at all. It's basically a massive tzatziki, chips and salad wrap. If you want to eat meat order something else because this one will not cut it.

Holy Pitta! 😯 This restaurant serves very good Greek food, and was able to accommodate us at 10pm to help end our good night out. There were many options available mainly centred around wraps (including Gyros/Yeeros), and also dishes with bread as an accompaniment. We ordered some olives and Tzatziki to start while we waited for our Karditsa sausage, Halloumi, and the Holy Souvlaki Wrap (containing Pork and chicken) to arrive. There wasn't one dish that wasn't made well, and you can also tell the bread is freshly made with care before eating everything else. The Halloumi and Holy Wraps were standout stars on the table for me, however even the olives and Tzatziki were really good; reminding me of the few times I'd travelled around Greece. Other than experiencing great service with us seated outside always being attended to, the establishment is really nice and deceptively big. It's the kind of place that is big and airy as the kitchen is open near the front of the restaurant, and what I also loved is the big mural inside which really gives an impressions you are actually in Greece. I would love to return here on a warm summer's evening for more food, as this restaurant is a great addition to the area of Islington! 😃🇬🇷
