Larger than expected and a very good choice of groceries and a fantastic meat counter. A bit expensive but all farm shops tend to be. Great sausages.

Another well established family business embedded in the community. They supply and serve home grown and quality local produce, the majority of which you won't find in supermarkets. They already use and sell Revive Beetroot, Turmeric and Ginger products. Quite expensive but good quality and free marrow bones for the dog

This used to be so good, but recently we have found the meat choice and quality has nosedived. bacon we bought was not good and prices are not cheap. Standards have certainly dropped over the last 6 months in our view. We shall not be returning

Just had a fabulous delivery from Honeywell’s. Stewing Steak was the Leanest I've ever had 👌 Rump steak gorgeous and Chicken Breasts.... Always the best around here. Thankyou very much again.

Love the meat here it tastes so fresh. Don't like the jalapeños chicken burgers. Me and my husband found them really really salty and not spicy at all. In fact we couldn't eat them, Disappointing! We have had pork pies in the past and found them to be heavy on the salt as well. We would definitely return but only for fresh plain meat

Good value for money as usual, getting a bit expensive, food quality great, but need to watch their prices. Shopping there once a month instead of twice.

Wow, what a hidden gem. A superb butchers counter & a great choice of other foods too. We bought some tandoori lamb sausages which were great.

Not what I expected from a farm shop, lots of additives and chemicals the meats particularly the burgers and lots of sugars in the marinades.

I love it here. The quality is better than anywhere I've ever tried but also the staff are lovely and they can't help enough if you ask them anything. They have bags of bones for your dog aswell. The prices are similar to supermarket's but better quality. I highly recommend honeywells

Meat is reared from their farm and what they don’t rear they source locally. I would rather buy meat that is local, support the farmers. It is tasty, fresh, of quality and I know where it is sourced from.

What can I say about this place, friendly and knowledgeable staff who genuinely care about customer service and good food. This isn’t your average farm shop, with locally sourced meat, fruit and veg and handpicked for quality. Whether its a special occasion or just a Sunday roast this is the place to go. Special mention to John the butcher who has a real passion for good meat and customer service an Liz who is always happy to go the extra mile! There is no-where else I go for my meat and the lamb Barnsley chop is the best I’ve ever had! Keep up the great work guys!

Don’t buy the fillet steaks only fit for mince.Full of gristle and fat.This shop used to be one of the best.Even my chef pal was not impressed and he cooked two of them. Gone downhill since covid.

Visited today and asked the butcher if they sold mutton, the staff on the butchers counter ery pleasant but didn't seem to know what mutton is.., another man possibly manager advised the staff what mutton is and NO they don't sell mutton....everything else in Honeywells is mega expensive. Pity we don't live closer to Tebay, now that is a farm shop at the best....variety of meat, quality and price along with all other fabulous products 😀 .

Meat is always on point, fresh and well butchered, fillet steaks are perfect. I won't go else where for my meat. I regularly visit the warrington branch inside bents and everything is amazing. The lamb loin chops and lamb Barnsley are superb, the beef selection is excellent from rib eye steaks to prime beef meat balls which are especially tasty. I won't buy my meat from anywhere else and it's well worth the travel, visited between the christmas period and the butcher made us an out of stock product as we waited... outstanding customer service

We have used Honeywells at Eaves for the last 3 years and when we started coming it was amazing quality with the meats, vegetables and cake selection however, over the last few months the quality isn’t the same and the range has dropped - the pies used to be amazing but now the ingredients don’t taste as nice, the cakes are a poor choice - today I brought the last Victoria / lemon cake, it was reduced but it was so stale and bland. Sadly I think my visits here will stop

Went to the Honeywells outlet at Barton Grange, bought a couple of Cheese and Onion pies. What a let down, couldn’t taste the cheese at all, I thought that they had to put the main filling first in the description, which would have been potato. It should really be called a cubed potato pie, probably the worst cheese pie I have ever had, steer clear. By the way Colin seems happy to put his name on the pies, he must be deluded.

Had a scotch egg and sausage roll Friday 18th. Disappointed, not to the previous high standards I’ve come to expect. They were both bland. I hope this is just a one off🙏

Won't visit again, incredibly lucky to have seen this whilst cooking, a quite large and very sharp piece of metal embedded in the burger. If eaten, this would have resulted in a hospital visit, I expect better practice and standards from any establishment, especially one like Honeywells. Otherwise... Majority of items are on the more expensive side, all mainly prepacked and little staff interaction. There are few items of fruit and veg available, so I don't often visit for these items. The meat with sauces, were usually good, but after finding this piece of metal I won't be returning. Bread must contain gold flakes as it's extortionate compared to anywhere else. Overall, I won't be missing out by not shopping here again, at least I'll have heavier pockets and not in need of a trip to A&E.

I have been shopping at honeywells since they opened to the public, but the prices over recent years have gone ridiculous. The quality has dropped as well as the portion size, yet the prices have increased. Shame.

Quality of products have reduced massively, price has increased and recently found a bit of metal within a burger. It's a shame because use to be very good, Much better farm shops about.

My wife and I went for a run out today to try Honeywells shop and was amazed. The shop is brilliant, the people very nice and friendly , and the goods simply the best ! We will with out doubt be going back.

Fruit and veg was old and going off

Amazing place, beautiful food and superb staff. Also free bags of bones for your dog. My only criticism is they sell danish bacon with added water for silly prices. The rest of the meat is superb, just don't buy bacon from there.

Very well laid out. Bit pricey in some parts but lovely quality.

The quality of the meat here is outstanding, it is a little bit more expensive than other butchers, but it is 10 times better, and they have a loyalty card. The pies are fantastic, but the cheese and onion pie is off the scale good.

Great shop, the wife loves it. Good choice, clean and friendly. If you see their vans take a look at the registration plates and the image on the side, very clever.

An excellent farm shop that is well worth the visit! The variety of produce here is fantastic. From a top notch butchers counter, to ready meals, fresh veg, the list is endless. Really is worth a visit. Do yourself a favour and get some of the sausage rolls, they are the best sausage rolls I've ever had. Fantastic.

Great place for meats pies and cakes, helpful staff, good quality products, most of which is home produced, little more expensive but well worth it, and if you want game like venison and pheasant etc this is the place to go. They also have a loyalty scheme. Whats not to like, also get all your Christmas goodies in one place, turkey, pigs in blankets.

An essential stop on the way home from the Plough at Eaves down the road, (see my review), Honeywell’s isn’t the cheapest farm store, but it’s a delight. There’s always a great atmosphere and the selection of goods is incredible.
