Amazing food and service. Jazz weekend is something special. All the staff are amazing, especially Amelia?

I went to HonkyTonk around 12 months ago and my girlfriend and I had a lovely evening. We had a query about the wine and allergens, and one of the owners, who was incredibly friendly and polite, came over to answer our query thoroughly. We got a great wine recommendation at a very reasonable price, great service and the atmosphere was perfect - sophisticated without trying too hard yet relaxing. I'd thoroughly recommend.

I visited for lunch yesterday with 2 friends to celebrate a birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious food and the friendly and attentive service from Fitz. The bread was especially good and a lovely selection of different cheeses. We’ll be back again for sure!

Popped in New Year’s Eve in the afternoon for some fine wine and food, we were impressed with the quality of the wines on offer and the food was excellent. Host was very welcoming and the place had a lovely atmosphere, hope to come again when we are next in the area. Highly recommend.

Honky TONK used to be our favourite place, the sharing platter and chilled no rush atmosphere sold it to us year after year. Not so now. The sharing platter is gone, replaced by small dishes that are in my opinion over priced. Food quality is still top notch. The left hand side of the rooms was set aside for a private function wine taste competition which was unbearlingly loud. We found we we shouting to each other to be heard. Sorry to say Honky TONK have lost their way.

This is a lovely little place away from the Barbican crowds. Very friendly service and delicious wines. We've not tried much of the food yet but sure will!

Last night was a surprise visit for my birthday. Having been before the food and wine was, as always, excellent as was the service. The added bonus was the comedy night. I’d never been to one before and it was brilliant. I haven’t laughed like that for ages. Was a fabulous night with wonderful family in an excellent setting. Looking forward to booking the theatre night next.

Hidden Gem!! Went for cocktails with a friend and was blown away by the beauty of the place, the selection of drinks was amazing, something for every taste - I bought a bottle of Panna cotta liqueur to take away and it was absolutely delicious!! Perfect place for drinks in a beautiful setting- highly recommend 👌

Had a wonderful sharing cheese platter for lunch and fish goujons. Delicious! I need a gluten free diet and they were so accommodating. We highly recommended this restaurant.

We attended the Jazz and Sunday Roast, which takes place on the 3rd Sunday of each month and which we highly recommend. Great Food with an unrushed and easy atmosphere.

Fantastic couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon. Fitz was very knowledgeable about the wines and was great at recommending the wine that went with our tapas. A lovely friendly host and great atmosphere. I will return on my next visit to Plymouth.

Jenny was absolutely amazing, she was so attentive during our whole time at Honky Tonk, never had a bad meal here and the food has always been great. Beautiful setting, beautiful food, great wine and great food. Very impressed as always.

If you are looking for a long wait for distinctly average food, look no further. Waited 10 minutes before drink order taken, over an hour for food - no one else seemed to be eating - did they know something we didn’t? Chicken satay bland; all food arrived at the same time. Fish cakes largely tasteless. The poor service matched the substandard food offerings.

Cannot recommend Honky Tonk highly enough, I wish this is how all my Friday nights rolled! We were really late, we got a call to check we were coming and to ask us if we needed them to keep the kitchen open. On our (slightly flustered) arrival we had menus and space all ready. Delightful ambience, lovely friendly service, a fab bottle of fizz and great food. Perfect! Thank you!

We took some friends for Sunday lunch which included a jazz band, it was very busy with a great atmosphere. The mains of pork belly, lamb and goats cheese tart were excellent - all accompanied by perfectly roasted vegetables. Although busy the service was speedy and friendly with an excellent choice of wine and beer. The added advantage is that being on the edge of Sutton Harbour we were able to sit outside in the sun for a pre lunch drink. I’d thoroughly recommend the Honky Tonk.

Fabulous customer service, food is excellent and such a nice relaxed venue. Always a warm welcome from the staff, food is always excellent and with great choice, and the location is perfect.

It is a nice place to have good wine and dinner combined with a great atmosphere. The service ist great. The location ist within the harbour with a great view to the Yachts.

Visited on a daybreak and saw this restaurant and it was perfect for our needs: lunch and wine. The crispy pork was personally my favourite whereas my boyfriend adored the beef brisket. The lady who served us was pleasant to talk to about wines and we did a few flights before finding out favourite of the evening.

This little strip with Suphas and Honky Tonk on it is my favourite in the city. They're both far away from the centre that it's not too busy but you're still on the waterside. Honky Tonk is awesome, you can tell it's run by people who enjoy food and wine and that means you get a great but comforting selection. The service is lovely, really friendly and engaging without being overbearing. The wine choice is interesting, always trying something new there and it's not disappointed. I've mostly just snacked there in terms of food but the snacks have been really good. I had the breadsticks last night and they came with this salt and pepper butter which was a really nice side to the wine. They've just changed their food menu and it looks so good (not that it didn't before). I need to go in there and eat.

Love the introduction of build your own platter. Food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and style and the wine was perfect. Lovely, attentive owners and waiting staff. Obviously we'll be back again...and again...

Every time we visit Honky Tonk it gets better. Service is faultless and the food is amazing. Together with a great atmosphere and an excellent location would highly recommend.

Visited on a Sunday for the bbq. I had the chicken which was not the chicken quarter mentioned in the menu, but a huge half a chicken which was lovely and juicy and my husband enjoyed his lamb burger. However, we both felt that the accompaniments were far too carb. laden - pitta bread, chips, potato salad and cous cous. A better option in my opinion would be coleslaw with a side salad to go with the fries. We enjoyed the wine flight we each chose and it was lovely to sit and enjoy the beautiful view on a sunny afternoon

We had a Sunday roast platter that was fantastic, service was also superb all in a fantastic waterside setting, will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere and great food. The owners couldn't be any more lovely! We went for lunch on a Sunday and were invited along to join in with a wine tasting that we didn't know was going on. As a non-drinker in the group I was looked after and had such a fantastic time (even without the wine!) due to the care and consideration that the owners show and wonderful atmosphere that they have created. 10/10

Absolutely fantastic, lovely atmosphere, lovely food and lovely owners who really make you feel at home.

Very pleasant four hours over an afternoon learning a bit more about distinguishing between and enjoying contemporary sparkling wine options. As ever with Mr Barrett, a relaxing, convivial, enlightening, reliable and useful session. A fun way of making future purchases less random and more satisfying. Afterwards we also had some worthy and tasty fodder from HonkyTonk’s summer barbecue menu.

I've been wanting to go for ages but haven't had the time. So we found the time and we weren't disappointed. We had the three cheeseboard, belly pork, satay chicken, and fish goujons with a lovely bottle of Malbec. I wish I had space for pudding, but I couldn't fit it in. So we will have to return soon so I can try one.

What a find, brilliant in every way from the welcoming to the departing, everything was just perfect. Location and ambience are excellent and sophisticated with a great wine offering and delicious food. Definitely coming back.

First visit to this great wine bar with friends and we all really enjoyed it! Welcoming staff, good atmosphere and loved munching our way through the tasty fat boy board with accompanying wine flights. Really nice to experience something new and different and look forward to the next time.

6 of us went to the HonkyTonk Wine Library for my friends birthday. We started with an Espresso Martini and tried different wonderful wines and had Fitz's Fatboy platter which was delicious. The atmosphere is very relaxing and service is excellent. All of these are the reasons we keep going back. Thank you.

Incredible, high end roast - great service

Had fabulous lunch, great music, amazing food.

As previous, the grazing board was amazing. More than enough food and lots of different flavours to hold your interest. Great range of wines to choose from but didnt think flight of 3 was a particularly good buy. Very surprised and disappointed to be asked for "last orders" at 9pm!! The place was busy, people were turned away and business wise, the last thing this lovely wine bar should be doing is closing so early!

Fab food, fab wine, staff so friendly. so good with a fab laid back and chill atmosphere. Absolute brilliant place. Go here and you will not be disappointed.

Another fabulous visit to The HonkyTonk Wine Library. We wanted fizz and were recommended a bottle of South African sparkling white. It was delicious. Zoe and the team are always very happy to listen to what you like and recommend new wines to try. We shared a three cheese board, some fries and hummus. Very enjoyable indeed. We will be back.

We love this place, really inviting with a great wine selection. Wonderful sharing boards, we had the cheese and added charcuterie, plenty for both of us and really tasty. There are places that you pop to, there are places you are excited to go to and then there are places that are complete special occasion! honky tonk is superb. From location, environment to being the best social food and vino around. What a treat every tome. Eat and drink well from ppl who know what they are talking about!

We took ourselves here for the meat sharing platter. It really was superb. Everything was super tasty and the meats were of the highest quality. I don't go here very often, but I'm always glad when I do. The service and atmosphere can't be faulted in anyway.

Lovely spot on the marina hosted superbly by Zoe and Fitz. Very attentive and full of useful information about the wine we had as well as others. Great wine library and we had some of the lighter bites - camembert best I’ve had. Gorgeous cocktail designed by Fitz. Great atmosphere and vibe at the Honky Tonk!

Had a social gathering here with a few of my friends and absolutely loved it. Such a great vibe and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We ordered small tapas dishes and everything came on time and tasted super fresh. The calamari I ordered tasted just perfect with the sweet and chilli dip. There’s loads of different wine options and the prices are pretty reasonable. Will definitely be back for more!

Amazing as always. Great food, range of stunning wines and excellent service

We used to love visiting but feel the platters have really deteriorated, they are smaller with much less variety. The service was not as good as usual, we had to ask for drinks orders to be taken, and we just didn’t feel as welcome. The restaurant was also cold, I’m so sorry to be so negative but we were so disappointed.

This is my 3rd visit to Honky Tonk, and I can honestly say, locally, it's the best place. From the wine, to the food and ambience, it is truly lovely - looking out at the sea and boats of course adds to the charm! The cherry on top? The unhurried manner in which we could take it all in, savour the wine and enjoy our grazing board - absolutely priceless. I will be back with my Hublet at the end of June for his birthday! The owners are engaging and knows what it means to make their patrons feel welcome and goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best time ever. Thanks for a wonderful few hours - our girlie catch up was a triumph!

It was my birthday and what a celebration it turned out to be! Honky Tonk wine library is at a fabulous location overlooking Sutton Harbour in Plymouth. And we were blessed with good weather! The hosts Fitz and Zoe, looked after my guests and I magnificently. The wine flowed and the food was plentiful and superb (especially my profiterole birthday tower 🥰). I have had so much feedback from my friends saying what a great party it was and what a splendid venue. They will be back to visit, Honky Tonk as will I. Thanks once again Fitz, Zoe and team. 🥂❤️😀

It’s been there for 6 years! I lived around the corner and never knew so pleased I had it recommended it to me perfect food and amazing staff who dealt with a very loud and very rude table with pure grace and professionalism keeping a relaxed and friendly ambience with sofas or table bookings, quick card games and amazing drinks and food selection! Already planning our return within the week to see Jenny and Wilson! Dog friendly and worth every penny we loved it!!!

Loved it! Great service, great ambience, great food and superb wine! We made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We had a long leisurely lunch and could have happily stayed all day - thank you so much & we look forward to seeing you again.

We visited HonkyTonk to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday with a group of seven friends. Everything was faultless - friendly helpful service, fabulous food and a fantastic selection of wines to suit every taste. We had a brilliant evening and everyone loved HonkyTonk. Heartily recommended.

Fabulous place, wonderful atmosphere and great hosts! The sharing platter was out of this world compliments to the best chefs Vox and Louis we will certainly be returning!

HT is our normal go to place when we have visitors and we want to impress and we love it. However our last visit on Saturday was a bit of a let down. The new boards are not as good as the old (seem to be less for more and bulked out with biscuits/hummus) and the service,whilst friendly and welcoming, was not as efficient as normal. Spent over £200 and didn’t feel it was value for money. Hopefully it was just a blip.

We went as a party of four for a birthday celebration. We attended for the 2nd time and the food, wine and service was wonderful. It was a lovely relaxed and cosy atmosphere. We stayed for the comedy evening and I could not reccomend it enough.

Have been here a few times in the past but the first this year. We had the traditional grazing board. We felt it was a disappointment compared to the last time we ate there. The price had increased but we didn't feel the quality had. There was some variation on the menu advertised the filo tartlets were not nice nor was the meat on the side. Its a great venue the wine is lovely and the staff, but I think we will go elsewhere for sharing platters in future.

I heard about HT from many people who recommended us to visit it. Therefore it was our first time in HT and we absolutely loved this nice place. The atmosphere there and interior design is very unique and memorable. We had a selection of a few starters to share and a meat sharing board. And that was plenty of food for a family of 4 to eat. The stunning food and beverage presentation really impressed us! All members of staff were friendly, smiley and attentive 😉👌🏼 I would definitely book a table for our next occasion😊

Lovely location, amazing wine selection and a sharing menu to match. We only had a quick glass of wine but it was divine. I plan on returning regularly. Not sure how to leave another review so updating this one. Now been here several times and every time a great experience slowly becoming a regular joint. Booked in for the ‘Roast and Jazz’ in Feb, food was amazing, atmosphere was a great vibe and the live Jazz topped it off! The staff are friendly and the owners know their wines, great conversations and recommendations.
