Hoxton Beach Cafe in Hackney

I go there frequently one meber if staf intertain him self with very loud music noise all araund as sport center is play its own music and his bad attitude his place of work is hung araund the till.and flickering his phone

I’ve just been to this place in Clissold Leisure Centre Fancied something different after gym. Total rip off. Ordered a small box of salad. Please see the pictures. Paid £3.75 for 6 cubos of potato, same amount of beetroot, 1 spoon of rice and lentils and 2 falafel… this was meant to be a box of salad… I didn’t even get half a box. My mistake was to pick my choices and walk away to the till to pay rather than check what I was being served. Very dishonest. If you don’t want to be ripped off avoid this place

London Fields is a peach of a place. And having a coffee in the sun after a swim is what life's about. But really - can this woman who runs the cafe not learn some manners? Spectacularly rude.

Staff seem even a little aggressive. Did not enjoy this visit and would not recommend it to others. Shame as it could be a nice spot

Coffee is what you would expect from a place like this but the staff should maybe look for a job that does not involve interacting with people.

Great food and friendly service. The Porridge after a morning swim sets you up for the day. I’d definitely recommend the pool and the cafe.

Hoxton Fields Café at London Fields is a superb place to eat. After an early morning swim the REAL porridge (made from proper oats) topped with fruit is a perfect start today. You know it's real as it's made by a very friendly Scottish lady who is also on first name terms with the myriad dog walkers and others who drop by. If you're in the area, stop by this oasis of calm for tea, cakes and maybe a chat with the aforementioned lady. You won't be disappointed (just don't ask if it's 'Ready Brek'); you'll be told quite bluntly that it's not. Good value, nice range of food and pleasant surroundings. What's not to like?

Other leisure centres I've been to feed their customers with vending machine crisps, greasy toasties and a few pieces of overpriced fruit by way of a commitment to healthy eating. You can't believe your luck when you walk in here and find a huge spread of delicious, home-made salads and meze-type dishes all of which are heaped onto your plate for a VERY good price. I haven't tried the lunch and supper specials but they look great too. This is a proper café run by people who love food and understand good catering. I wonder why 'Better' which runs the leisure centre doesn't invite (or beg) Hoxton Beach into all its centres...
