Impossible in Manchester

Came for the country bottomless brunch, drinks were great prosecco and cocktails and the entertainment was really good. There was a live singer and dancers. The food wasn't great though, it was a burger and fries, unfortunately the burger was really dry and small, but it was the only let down to an otherwise great event. We all had a really good time.

We went for bottomless brunch and our server Aaron was absolutely amazing!! He was super friendly, got our drinks really quickly and was just a Star! Really recommend!

Small venue, great interior. Food was amazing , but the chef has since changed.

Zai really looked after us when we visited for after work drinks! They have a great selection at the bar and it was a super relaxed atmosphere. Such a fun time, thank you! :)

Fabulosa experiencia anoche para mis amigos 40 cumpleaños. Reservamos brunch sin fondo, el personal era increíble, especialmente nuestro servidor Theyoh, nada era demasiado problema para él, realmente hizo nuestra experiencia especial. Las bebidas estaban fluyendo y el ambiente era genial también.

Desafortunadamente, mi reciente visita el viernes 1 de octubre en la calle, fue todo menos. Me sorprendió la falta de profesionalidad y el trato injusto que recibí, lo que me ha dejado increíblemente decepcionado. Durante la noche, tuve una breve conversación con un promotor del club. De la nada, me dijo que me sacaría del club, aparentemente solo para ejercer autoridad sin ninguna razón. Fiel a su palabra, rápidamente llamó al equipo de seguridad, que se presentó inmediatamente y me arrastró lejos de mis amigos sin siquiera darme un momento para explicarme. Para empeorar las cosas, el equipo de seguridad me manejó ásperamente, arrastrándome por las escaleras y fuera del club. En el caos, perdí un zapato y ni siquiera tuve la oportunidad de recuperarlo. Tengo imágenes de video de este manejo difícil, y desde entonces he presentado una queja ya que creo que el nivel de fuerza utilizado fue completamente excesivo e innecesario. Para un lugar que he apoyado durante años, este tipo de tratamiento no solo fue humillante sino completamente innecesario. Estoy profundamente decepcionado, y espero que Impossible re - evalúe cómo tratan a los clientes leales y manejan los conflictos en el futuro. Esta experiencia definitivamente me ha hecho pensar dos veces antes de volver.

Great food , quick service, but place was freezing cold

Booked for bottomless brunch, only had about 5 cocktails to choose from, food was unbelievably greasy and all 5 of our out party barely ate anything. Staff were lovely and we definitely got the most out of drinks but food was very disappointing and fairly certain we got overcharged, would come here for a drink again but definitely not bottomless brunch.

Booked for 11 people The same day they emailed and said it’s cancelled so after ringing multiple times and no one picking up phone they finally replied and said yeh we can have the table, on arrival they only had two small tables (boof) what had to be pushed together so we was miles away from each other, sat down and they explained there’s 2 bottomless brunch options but they don’t explain it’s an extra £5 if you get a burger…… cuttery was brought out and was sent back as all 12 forks was dirty and some still had food on… I was there for 1:30mins and had 1 pint and ended up buying my own at the bar because they confused are drinks up ect some people had way more than others…. 3 people dint eat any of the food as was disgusting I do not recommend and definitely will not be coming back

I’m confused to why i was viciously dragged out by the bouncers for wearing a durag, when there is multiple people inside wearing head dress, it’s completely acceptable for a Sikh to wear a turban but not for a black man to wear a durag, I find this completely upsetting, as I’ve travelled 2 hours to get here and enjoy my night to be treated like that, I’m aware I was told at the door that there is no head dress, for me to find multiple people inside wearing head dress so I saw no issue with placing mine back on to be violently dragged out by the bouncers.

Fantastic atmosphere, generous hosts and went above and beyond to make our event memorable and ensured everyone had a great time

Kudzai was our server tonight, he brought so much energy and fun, gave me drama kid energy in the best way possible. Really recommend the bottomless brunch got more than our moneys worth :)

Jesca was so amazing with keeping our drinks topped up. Fabulous waitress! Very attentive and ensure our drinks were flowing.

No fridges working at all, dirty glasses, complained to managers they were not interested. £50 for a bottle of Prosecco again warm. They did not even open the bottle for you and no Ice bucket. The food was awful, not warm and very very small portions. Service of the food was so unorganised. The place was dirty. Dirty windows, no attention to detail and really bad customer service. I would never go back or reccomend this place.

Would give a 0 star if I could. This is a great place if you want to be man handled as a woman by security that are quite clearly on a power trip.

Was served by Lamin, Kudzai and Dion they were speedy, friendly & knowledgable about the menu. Impeccable service as per usual! Food was good and came in good time & the drinks were amazing. Pornstar punch & rum punch were our fave drinks we love them!! I had an amazing time

Felt ignored by staff handling out drinks they just walked past the people sat in the middle of the floor and seemed to concentrate more on those sat in booths, food order did not come at the same time so one ofbus sat with nothing whilst the other was eating. Taylor Swift tribute was brilliant, though, and the atmosphere was great.

We come for bottomless brunch for my friends 30th. The start was hard work with slow drinks but we had a new server Zai who honestly made us have the best night ever . He was so attentive and really fun to speak to. Deffo recommend this if he is your server. Thank you Zai!!!!!

The drinks were really slow for our bottomless brunch at first the drinks were coming really slow but then Zai came and saved the day and was very speedy and helped us out massively

Did a bottomless brunch here the service wasn’t the best at first but spoke to Zai and he saved the day! He brought us the drinks we asked for and kept an eye on us to make sure we never had an empty drink and extended our brunch for us!

Great food! The drinks were a bit slow but. Zai came and extended our bottomless brunch. This was so lovely of him. The fact that he even noticed that we were asking way too frequently with it being so busy was great. Plus it’s my sis birthday!!!!

We attended a day party event here so didn’t try food. I have visited a couple of times for the same type of events. The venue is fine, other than no toilet roll in most of the female toilets. The downside was the door staff, many of which just seem so unnecessarily rude. One took my friend’s chewing gum out of her bag, looked at her and threw it in bin without saying a word. For us to then see chewing gum being sold by their staff in the toilet. The drinks and bar staff were generally ok. Drinks were ridiculously priced but this tends to be the way at these events.

Great place for food and drinks. Zai was a great host, full of banter and conversation.

It was awful we paid £500 for a table then got kicked out for nothing

Worst club ever! We got promised a table with a minimum spend of £200 when we got there that price changed to £300. The air con started to leak on our table so we had to move with no compensation. When we told the manager he responded with “I just want a peaceful night but you lot are getting on my nerves”. Save your money and never go here, run them out of custom! They also mentioned they don’t care if customers are unhappy all they’re bothered about is profit which we called out a terrible business policy!

Absolutely dire. They have a disgraceful admission policy that seems to be based on them fulfilling numbers than anything else. Very rude, uncortiois and like they are trying to satisfy a minority. Far better places in town to go.

I came here tonight for a large corporate party with my office and we were looked after by the talented Annabelle who went above and beyond for us !! Also don’t judge the picture, only one drink had the fire before I took it haha

Violent bouncers. Witnessed them go into the bar, where everyone was minding their own business, and punch a girl whilst dragging her out for no reason. After she was arrested for fighting back, she was released following review of the CCTV footage which proved he hit her unprovoked and she acted in self defence. Impossible need to take action, but I doubt they even care. To the bouncers, who hurt you growing up? If you're comfortable hitting women in public like that, God only knows what you do behind closed doors. You're a disgrace to humankind.

Previously visited for drinks. This was our first experience eating here. Went for the Sunday lunch fondue style. Was a pleasant surprise and plenty of good quality food. Drinks aren't the cheapest but its a better atmosphere than a chain pub ,and we are happy to pay more to spend time in a more relaxing environment.

We went to the Comedy Unleashed show which was brilliant. The venue was perfect for comedy, great atmosphere, great service at the bar🥳

They break the law. On a late night when the club is open, they will charge males more than females. This is illegal under the equality act. We were told by bouncers that it was £20 entry for men and £10 for girls. The girl working on the front desk then came out and said "no no, that's not right, it's only £15 for boys and £10 for girls".

Had a business event. Immy was so professional,smiling and courteous. The restaurant prepared a fantastic BBQ. Would defo arrange another business event.

rip off, service was awful out drinks were constantly brought over wrong and took about 20 mins to bring them over and we weren't allowed to order from the bar as we paid for the bottomless brunch, the food was lovely but you go in after paying £20 to then find out if you want most of the menu you have to pay an additional £30 which isn't stated when you book online

The security guard pat me down, as they did everyone. However, he then put his hands inside my front pockets of my jeans and I stopped him. I said that it was harassment and potentially sexual harassment, and he proceeded to tell me that I “should expect that with a pat down”. He actually tried arguing that it’s protocol. He endangered himself (people may have sharp objects) and invaded my privacy. I’m considering whether to press charges.

Random service charge added to the bill which wasn't explained anywhere until we asked at the till, meaning no tip. Food was really good and had a great comedy night

Impossible hosted a fantastic night for me and 40 or so friends at The Gin Nest. My event coordinator was Ola, and she was excellent throughout the entire booking process. The space is really nice, plenty of bar room and standing areas, but a tonne of soft seating for when guests want to sit. I was able to arrange a playlist, customise drinks on the tab, and the food was served “buffet” style, which my guests loved. Great service from start to finish, absolutely recommend

Awful experience and awful staff members in charge (management and security), MANAGER Eve was dismissive and had a disgusting attitude towards us, and head doorman Omar was aggressive and clearly very violent. Would not recommend to anyone who’s looking for a good time 😂

Me and my friends visited imposssible last weekend for the third time. We again were greeted by Leah who is an absolute delight. We had her serving us alongside our waiter and somehow she managed to balance professionalism and a wonderful sense of humour and personality together which is rare. Her enthusiasm is amazing! as soon as we walked in she definitely sets the tone for our evening and genuinely has interest in the customers that come in. I have felt that I am just another table at previous places but we felt like valued guests here. If your looking for a place which gives service like this alongside really good food then look no further. We can’t wait to return!

I visited Impossible with my family who came down to Manchester to visit me for the first time and I was so excited to show them round the city, however i was disappointed with the service here. We walked in and waited to be seated or greeted but that did not happen so we took ourselves over to the bar where we waited a long time to be served or even noticed by any staff in what was a basically empty venue. After very little and poor interaction with staff we had our drinks outside which was nice but decided to leave and take my family to a friendly and better atmosphere bar instead.

It was a birthday treat , I must say the music was fantastic and the entertainment was too, but the food left a lot to be desired, mu friend and I have the veggie wrap and chips it was the worst wrap ever it had uncooked butternut squash in it ,neither of us were going to eat that , we ended up paying for a meal somewhere else later, didn't realise you couldn't pick your own drinks, the drinks we were given were one bottle of some cheap cocktail and a bottle of cheap procecco, I ended up buying my own drinks 2 vodka and lemonade, (i was given vodka and soda water) which defeat the object for bottomless brunch, shame because its was a birthday present and we were so lucking forward to it . I don't usually write reviews, but I thought this time it was important to give feedback .

Really bad experience unfortunately, we booked and paid the deposit. Didn’t get our first drink until 30 minutes in. Needs to be made clear that the basic bottomless doesn’t include any cocktails at all if you want them you have to pay £50pp. I have been to better bottomless bunches with more attentive staff and wouldn’t return or recommend here.

Was on a stag weekend payed to get in the basement part paying £20 to get in some of us got split up before going and a few ended up down stairs and the rest up stairs 2 different entrance so us who ended up down stairs was going to go upstairs the lads on the door would not let us in because we had trainer's on and all so the guys on the door was scamin people taking cash from people who had trainer's on he tried to charge us £40 just to let us in never a will we go back.

A restaurant that was recommended to us, but due to schedule we only went to have a beer, the place is very original with a very careful decoration, good and very cold beer, the menu looks very good.

Having previously reviewed this place 5 stars for a bottomless brunch and recommending to friends, I feel that I have no choice but to re-review after my latest experience and hearing the recent experiences of my friends. I’m unsure how there can be 2 tables of customers and 4 staff, yet still slow service. The food was just absolutely awful - no way of dressing it up. I ordered the avocado on toast and it was one slice of the thinnest bread I’ve ever seen with a bit of mashed avocado on top. That’s it. We had to go somewhere else after to order food as we were left starving. 2 people in our group of 6 had to wait over 45 minutes for their food. 3 meals that were meant to receive eggs did not receive eggs. Really disappointing seeing as I’d previously had a great bottomless brunch experience here, but clearly that was a one off.

Leah the host was such a warm welcome and she kept coming over to make sure we was having a good brunch and was extremely polite. Had some problems but she solved them asap so we had a good night

I had beef sunday roast and cheescake desert and my girlfriend chicken sunday roast and lemon sponge cake. Well done to the chefs and server was wonderful as well. I couldn't catch their name, but thank you for the wonderful experience! We will be back soon!

Its a very rough place to go to which is a shame since the music and the atmosphere in the night was so good. We had people bully a few of my friends for no reason at all and the security guards didnt seem to do much about them

Went on Saturday for the bottomless brunch, would highly recommend it! The staff are lovely especially Laila who was as extremely attentive, she’s a credit to this bar! Food arrived quickly and really tasty. Will definitely be going back ☺️

The food was not nice at all, you could taste the freezer burn on the garlic bread, the fish was bland. I would advise eating somewhere else before going. Service, Staff are really nice but due to the music really hard to hear them. Over all, nice place to go to have a good time but don't eat there.

Came in for a bottomless brunch, well worth the money. One of the best selections I’ve had at a bottomless. Pints, Prosecco, spirits and cocktails 👌🏼 staff were fantastic and super fast, unfortunately can’t remember the servers name but she was fantastic.

I wouldn't even give it 1 star if possible! This was booked for a birthday of a friend and I am absolutely gutted that it was ruined by the shocking experience. We moved tables 3 times because the restaurant was freezing cold due to the air conditioning which we notified the staff of. The waiter who was serving drinks was the only good aspect for the visit. The food was cold, disgusting, inedible and incorrect. 3 of our plates were returned to the kitchen as the mushrooms were burnt, there was no syrup and the chicken burger was cold, this meant 2 people had to eat alone and had finished by the time the replacement food came back out. The replacement was terrible if not worse than the original food served to us. We requested a manager to the table, it took 15 minutes before anyone came to the table, we explained the situation and were met with the response "well, what do you want me to do about it?!" this was delivered with an unprofessional, rude attitude. She then left the table without saying a word and came back 10 minutes later with a bill for an additional £40 to the deposit we had already paid, considering we had only had at a maximum 4 drinks each, we were shocked and appalled. We advised this was unacceptable and told her we would not be paying this, to which she thought it appropriate to have the bouncer come and tower over us at our table where we were sitting. She then came back to the table with a card machine, we repeated that we were not going to pay the extra and she proceeded to block on of my friends into the booth as an attempt to prevent her from leaving. We then repeatedly asked for another manager (one who she had been going to discuss the matter with throughout the night). She refused to bring her senior manager out, so my friend had to push passed her to get out of the booth and spoke with someone at the bar who went to get the senior manager. Who then came out and cleared the bill for us and was lovely and professional. We gave her feedback on our experience and she apologised profusely. We had also paid for a birthday celebration package which never appeared. I would NOT recommend and will never go back! If you're looking for a fabulous bottomless brunch/party go to Manahatta!!

TERRIBLE BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH AND RUDE MANAGER. The absolute WORST venue I have ever been to in my life. Shocking food, how they serve that food is beyond me. It was absolutely dead and the service for bottomless brunch was unbelievably slow- clearly a tactic so you don't get your monies worth. Complained to the management as my birthday was ruined and was greeted with 'what do you want me to do about it'- whoever trains these staff needs an attitude check and so does the manager herself. The saving grace was the lovely staff member who tried his best although the team around him were slow, rude and unattentive. One drink each every half an hour and they are watered down and tasteless. Food is stone cold, dry and bland, even after being sent back twice. No apologies, instead when we said we weren't paying for shocking service (we had already paid a hefty deposit) the manager with braids (the rudest girl i've ever spoken to) made bouncers stand round our table to try and intimidate us, probably not the smartest idea when the majority of the table were police officers. After refusing to get a manager above her, she finally decided she could no longer be bothered to deal with us. Her manager came upstairs, apologised profusely and took off the additional money on the bill. We never received our deposits back which were not deserved considering none of us ate and had about 3 tiny drinks each in the space of two hours. A birthday surprise was booked for an additional price and never sent so thank you once again for ruining my birthday meal. I will continue to tell my colleagues, friends and clients not to visit the shocking premises. Considering the terrible reviews and the unprofessional responses to the reviews, it is clear that attitude and unprofessionalism runs throughout the premises. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND VISIT MANAHATTA INSTEAD- They know how to put on a bottomless brunch.
