Great place, tucked away, easy parking. Lovely coffee. Just so handy after a walk. Local produce stocked, used and sold here.

Absolutely superb. A real hidden and unexpected gem. Food was superb. Have been to Texas and this was way better than anything we had out there which is crazy. All the staff were genuinely lovely people. The moonshine in the gift shop is absolutely worth trying. Thanks so much 👍🏽

First time to this place and I highly recommend it. The food was excellent; tasty, hot, loads of flavour and huge portions. Had lunch before our walk and exploration of the falls. The team are friendly, helpful and welcoming. The menu diverse enough to cater for all, including a fussy vegetarian! After a trip round the nature reserve in the cold and wet, a hot chocolate and chai latte were mightily received. Great value and definitely a place to visit.

Wow! Just wow! If you love meat you are going to love Inkie's. We shared a platter of chicken wings, pulled pork and brisket. Everything cooked fantastic. The brisket melts in your mouth. The homemade coleslaw was great as well along with the BBQ sauces. Meat and beer, what's not to love! Will definitely be back next time we visit Cornwall.

We just discovered this place. What a great find. A bbq smoke house out in the woods. The beans and mac & cheese are superb. Could do with a couple more veggie / vegan options but otherwise superb.

Went for Breakfast but they ran out by the time we got there (All food is fresh on the day). This turned out to the best thing to happen to us as we got to try the burgers, Hot dogs and the Beans & Mac and cheese. Amazing food!! and a great little location. Car park was busy and toilets were not great but overall well worth a trip.

American here. Texas pit style brisket was on point, and if it came with sliced bread, ranch beans and pickles, I’d have thought I was in the hill country. Pig (pork shoulder I think) was also really good, and they have North Carolina(ish) mustard and vinegar sauces. Best Southern BBQ I’ve had north of 40 degrees. No hot pepper vinegar though - all the sauces are sweet.

Very friendly staff here and magnificent location. The food was good, and not bad value for money either. The selection was vast and plentiful. I'd highly recommend this to anyone.

Awesome gem of a place to go to eat, chill and even taking some of the Cornish woodland scenery with many varied walks. Plenty of parking available, the staff are very welcoming and polite too. Incredible food served up with very little wait time. A good range of sauces to go with the food.

Stumbled across this wonderful eaterie when visiting Golitha Falls. A fantastic bacon roll with thick, tasty bacon and good coffee.

This is a fantastic venue, outdoor indoor dining in beautiful surroundings, free car and loo's next door. Food it great a good variety and locally sourced and produced. Ironically no chips but that didn't bother us as they're no good for you anyway 😁 but the quantity of food supplied is more than enough and great quality. Pricing is reasonable around £25-35 for two with drinks, service is great and quite quick considering how busy they are. Will definitely return, take the dog for a walk in the beautiful woods and return for a well earned lunch/dinner. Great place, great value and great food! What more could you want... Enjoy eating out in the air!

Wow what a good smokehouse. Food was cooked to perfection and there is plenty of it for you money. It's located in such a good place. We will be coming back for more amazing food

Fantastic setup,had the cow in a carpet, Would have been 5 stars but wasn't so keen on the fat on the meat, I know some people may like it but not me, although my dogs loved it. Would recommend and return

An absolute hidden delight. A busy lunchtime, the queue is well, well worth it. The best beef brisket & pulled pork that I've tried in life. Superb! Friendly staff & a relaxed atmosphere.

This place is absolutely amazing. You can go for a walk in the woods then have a delicious, all homemade, smoked lunch or breakfast. Absolutely lovely food, nice hot drinks, plenty of places to sit and undercover area. Wear a coat in the autumn as it's mostly outdoor seating but blankets are provided for you. We've had breakfast and lunch here now and both equally incredible but my family recommended the platters for lunch and the burgers! Staff are always attentive and friendly too. Gem of a place.

Saw this place on a previous visit, but was too late to try it. Definitely worth the effort to come back. The food was so good, fall off the bone tender, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will go again next time we are in the area.

I've been to a few Smokehouses but christ this place is EXCELSIOR, the portions are massive the taste is solidly brilliant and the price very fair in outstanding surroundings. The staff were top notch , if I lived near here I'd be 20 pounds heavier & 100 quid lighter monthly

What a brilliant place to sit and enjoy truly delicious food! A great choice of high quality brunch items to choose from and we were not disappointed. Excellent, friendly service aswell.

The food was amazing, I especially loved the ribs and wings which were cooked to perfection in their self-made sauces and so succulent. The hot chocolate should be classed as a smoothie as it was thick with the amount of chocolate in it, delicious! And if you go for the luxury option you get a marshmallow the size of my fist. The portions were more than generous, so much so my dog had to have a share, and he benefitted from other people not managing theirs too. This place ended up being my highlight of the holiday, and my dogs.

Get there early to get parked (free parking) as it does get very busy, and I can see why and while you are there, have a nice walk along Goliath Falls. Check the opening days so as not to be disappointed if they are closed 🤭.

We were down from the Isle of Wight and I love a bit of BBQ so had to give this a try. Absolutely loved it the meat was so tender you couldn’t cut it. It just fell apart! The mac and cheese was nice and the pit beans were lovely as well. I had the woodstack and my wife had the cow in a bap. I can highly recommend the milkshakes as well! The staff were all lovely and super friendly as well, and the setting was just perfect. We will be heading back that way before our journey home as we need a good breakfast to set us up for the day, and that it did! One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in ages! Good quality food and I’m just sad we don’t have an inkie’s on the Isle of Wight!

Lived in Texas for a decade, and enjoyed much good BBQ there, so was excited to try some highly rated BBQ in Cornwall after moving back. Portions for the pulled pork and brisket baps were huge... more meat than you'd get on a BBQ sandwich in Texas! Meat itself not that great though. The pork was moist but just a bit of fairly harsh smoke flavor on the outside pieces and no real . Brisket was served in a ridiculous chunk, rather than sliced. Lacked much smoke flavor and seasoning from a rub. More like what you'd get from a cheap chain BBQ place in Texas, rather than a good BBQ place. But still BBQ. Was nice that they had the carolina style mustard and vinegar sauces as well as sweet BBQ sauce.

Next to Goliath falls, really busy for parking at lunch time owing to great food, drinks and ice cream. Huge portions of tasty food. Really nice staff. Not bad for wheelchair if you can park.

Wow. Just wow! Excellent food and THE best mocha coffee we've ever had. Portions are very generous. Will definitely be returning when back in the area.

Barbecue style food, brilliant atmosphere, really polite and friendly servers. The food was 🤌🏽🤌🏽 everyone's looked amazing! There are different areas & they have grown from when I went last. It was really busy as well, which is a great indicator. It was a Wednesday as well, so I thought it would be quieter! Warning- The toilets are closed due to broken soakaway & the portaloos are as you'd expect, so take antibacterial gel if you're a bit 🤢 about things like that! They have however laid on the toilets, which inkies didn't have to do. The toilet block has been there way longer than they have, so I don't think it is their responsibility. But portaloos will portaloo.

Burgers are home made and gorgeous. Well worth the money and the trip. Service is 2nd to none. Staff are Pleasant helpful and can't do enough to help

Hidden jem ,food is excellent, unexpected find in the middle of forest

Saw this place before we were doing the forest walk next door and decided to go in after for a drink and a small snack. The service was amazing from beginning to end, all you need to do is order at the bar area and they give you a number and just find a table. The food came out very quickly and was very fresh and delicious. Everything is either homemade or locally sourced. The prices are great for the size and quality portions you get. We will definitely recommend this place and will be back when in the area.

We have travelled down from Sheffield and saw this place on social media. It is such a inviting place, so family orientated, great staff, great food and drink. Highly recommended .

Our life has forever been split into two - before we had Inkie’s, and after we had Inkie’s. Food so good it has altered our brain chemistry 😻 Arrived at lunchtime and it was busy with a queue for service, but it moved very quickly and there was an unusual but family-like atmosphere from other diners. Ordered the mixed platter, mac ‘n cheese, a Twix milkshake and a frozen lemonade (we chose raspberry sorbet and rose lemonade). Prices very reasonable. Surprisingly easy to find a table, and the food appeared without delay. Despite being busy, all the staff seemed so chilled out and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Every part of the food and drinks was sheer perfection. Meat melting off the bone with the smokey flavour beautifully enhancing the quality ingredients throughout. Coleslaw on the side of the platter was fresh and tasty, wonderfully complimenting the meat. Twix milkshake was incredible, and the frozen lemonade sublime. It’s only been 2 weeks and we have already planned our next Inkie’s experience. Everyone needs to indulge in this authentic and unique gem.

Set in a scenic environment Inkies just oozes character and charm. Very friendly and efficient staff. The breakfast was cooked well with good quality ingredients. Would highly recommend

Absolutely brilliant place for food, teas, coffee and ice cream after the walk at Golitha falls. Recommend coming early because the car park was full at 11:00. All the staff were welcoming and friendly, the food was delicious. Completely family and dog friendly.

Went along one Wednesday lunchtime and was not disappointed. Burnt Ends Burger and Dirty Mac n Cheese was great after a walk in the woods. Very busy time but orders came out very promptly, staff all very polite and waiting staff explaining their home made sauces added to the flavour experience. Will definitely go back.

Still huge portions at great prices! Portions about twice the size of that you get at the street food place in Newquay for an almost identical price. Probably the best brisket I've had and I can cook a pretty good brisket myself. Lovely slaw to cut through the beefy juiciness! Can't wait to go again.

This is our second time here in a number of weeks. It is a fantastic place if you like plenty of meat for your buck. It's cooked to perfection with a slight smoky flavour. The staff are friendly and helpful, the surrounding area is peaceful too. Set in the woods. Inkies also feed the wild birds which is great if you like bird watching. The children loved inkies ice cream. I highly recommend it.

Shhhhhh, don't tell anyone. Smokehouse BBQ, strangely no fries, but i forgive them that as the food was too knotch, get there early as they close around 4 p.m.

Lovely little place to eat after a short walk in the woods or a long walk. Whatever your fantasy, the food here is amazing and always has been. I remember it when it was just a little van in the car park and watched them build it to what it is now and the food has always been amazing. It can be quite pricey but always worth it

Good food worth the trip particularly accompanied with a walk to the Golitha falls. Huge variety of drinks from shakes, to smoothies and alcoholic cocktails and beers. Good for all ages.

The food here is well worth going out of your way for. Be warned they close at 4pm and don't open on Mondays or Tuesdays, but I'd recommend changing plans to work around them, you won't be disappointed. The service is great, the food is fresh, the portions are large and best of all the taste is sublime.

This place by the car park we used to go to Gothica Falls is amazing. The Hillbilly left me in a well worth it food coma. My kids have never eaten so much pancakes without complaint. Real hilly vibe and rhe staff are all wonderful. Highly recommend.

Great local BBQ, food was awsome lots of flavour. Parking can be hard - be prepared to wait. We had to wait about 30mins for table but was worth it. Don't expect fine dining, this is a couple.of cabins and exactly how I like a smokehouse!!!

We came down to Southern Halt for a break and arriving early we looked for somewhere close to eat. Wow what can we say, if you’re in the know you’re in the know, fantastic friendly and truly amazing food. American based ribs, brisket and burgers that just wow the taste buds. We’ve been back twice as it was so good. The drinks and ice cream and just ambiance were brilliant. The staff attentive and humorous, and friendly and inviting!! If you’re ever in the neighbourhood and want fantastic filling food , rustic relaxed atmosphere then pay them a visit!! You won’t be disappointed!!

Came back for lunch following a lovely walk at Golitha Falls enticed by the menu of smoked meats and it didn’t disappoint. Delicious tray of pulled brisket and pork and the burger pattys also tasted amazing. Friendly staff and great service. Highly recommended but no reservations as a steady stream of customers. They really take pride in their food.

We visited Inkies before heading to Golitha Falls. We had a hotdog and the Woodstack plus a shake. The food was fantastic and the portions huge! Picked up a jar of their “Epic BBQ sauce” to take home too as it was so good

I’ve been here several times now and every time has been an absolute pleasure. Tried the hot chocolates and iced coffee, both delicious and really well made. The staff are all so lovely, highly recommend :)

Personally, I had the pancakes, and let me tell you, these pancakes are absolutely delicious they are nice and soft they're not too sweet they're nice and well foamy on the inside so I've just got to say that once you eat inkys your never gonna have regular pancakes again.

What can I say! An actual hidden gem!! A getaway was needed so headed down to the beautiful Cornwall, decided to visit the falls and connected to the car park was inkies smokehouse. A small wooden cabin tucked away. As soon as I left the car I knew I was stopping after my walk. The smell of slow cooked meats drawing me in like a Disney cartoon. The menu? To die for ..slow cooked briskets and ribs. Steroid looking burgers with Juicy patty’s and creative bbq toppings. New York style hotdogs in pretzel buns all loaded with toppings. Mouth watering is an understatement, Sides of creamy mac cheese, seasoned chicken wings burnt ends and pork belly (very difficult to choose between) the menu also had 20 hour pulled pork, Philly cheesesteaks and some of the best housemade sauces I’ve tried. The mustard being my favourite Look’s definitely sell food and not only did it look Amazing it tasted amazing. You can definitely tell the love the food has been made with, from the cooking process to attention to detail. But that wasn’t it. A vast and creative selection of shakes and local made ice creams ALL priced very well. Infact, if I was local the staff would know me by name I’d be there that much. In addition there’s is a bar licensed to sell alcohol that includes their own moonshine. (Was a bit strong for me) with a selection of flavours. Along with other drinks All in all I highly recommend inkies smokehouse. I’d go as far to say it’s better than the beautiful golithia falls next door 9.1/10
