Not good I am afraid. Very slow service others gets served whilst we are waiting and waiting it’s bad. Then finally food comes cold I mean it’s only shawarma what is go long about it. I wouldn’t go there again.

DISGUSTING PLACE, FOOD FALLING DOWN THE FLOOR, AND THEY TRYING TO PRETEND IS NEVER HAPPENED, AND GIVING YOU THE SAME FOOD OUT OF THE FLOOR...

Lady there service given was very bad un professional. Like I'm here servant and she my boss. Few time this had happened when I have gone there.

Non helpful staff and quite arrogant.Seating available snd take away.Area is quite rough.Muggings and illicit substance userers in area and can smell it in the air.Lot of recent police activity.So be vigilant in the area when visiting.Food hygiene not good.Food was cold on opening after take away and not far from resturant.Don't think will visit it again.

Fresh foods, variety Middle-Eastren dishes, reasonable prices and friendly staff. If you like Kurdish Cuisine, this place is for you.

A good location and reasonable prices

This is the second time I’ve ordered food from here. I ordered lamb shawarma, mixed lamb shawarma and falafel wrap. I don’t understand why it is so busy. It’s literally the worst shawarma I have ever tasted. There is something really off about the lamb meat. The falafel wrap didn’t even have any Humous added to it. The only positive is that this place is cheap in prices. But I think those who eat here haven’t tasted good food before.

The food not really taste good Kozi the lamb was smell bad the rice was dry.mix grill the teka lamb was chewy and hard . I don’t recommend it.

Delishes food and very kind workers

Best iraqi kurdish restaurant in North West London. They have a rich and affordable menu. I will definitely recommend mix shawarma and mix grill but my favourite still grilled chicken. ENJOY 😉

Excellent place for dinner 🍽️. Polite and friendly staff, excellent quality and pricing food. I recommend people to try this place 😉. May be staff needs to ware white hats instead handkerchiefs.

My evaluation of the restaurant is frankly that the food is good, but the service and the staff are not professional, and also the delay in serving the food, unfortunately.

Their shawarma is normally giving good portions for £4.50. But think twice when visiting shop after 9pm they will sell products for full price (specially wraps) but they will put less kebab portions. Owner is very polite but lazy colleagues do this malpractice. ASAP talk to the owner if this happens to you.

The best Kebabs in North London. Extremely flavourful and soft. The most genuine place to have Turkish Kebabs in North London.

I have spent so much so much money here and the service and the behaviour of the staff is just so rude I will not be buying from this shop again and I advise everyone else to go another restaurant

The Iraqi kebab was very nice. Meat was nice and tender, resembling bbg lamb chops-ribs. They don’t give you a knife unless you ask for one. Cheap and delicious. Amazing bread too.

one star the Chicken had 5 chicken rolls doner kabab. It's was not tasty @ all and the portion are so so so small... Like mini kids meal. Wrap roll . Will I visit it again NO

The best Iraqi kabab yet and wings.

Service was poor, no glasses, no plates or cutlery given. Requested 3 times, still no knife provided to cut the meat. Kebabs need more meat, they just crumble. Chilli sauce is provided in a tiny paper container. Not ideal, this is more of a take out. Chicken wings were nice, aarayes was over done.

Doesn't even deserve one star the Chicken is not Cooked well Service are really bad When i'm speaking to someone, he just turned his face and I have to speak to another one and they are not helpful once i took shawarma i gave the guy on the till £6 i sayd keep the Change But yesterday I went to buy another shawerma and he didnt gave me me my order becuse i dont have 20p, I would never buy from them again.

Very good selection of food and very prompt service. They work extremely hard and meat is very healthy. The only place you can find a good chicken and rice around.

I had the lamb shawarma with salad meat was good not the best I have had The salad was a basic not the Arabic salad most of are used to not pickles etc The accompanying sauce was minimalist for eating in but chilli sauce on the garlic sauce very nice you could tell they were home-made Accompanying bread one was great as I like it crisp Nan bread where is the other one? Was very softly and taken out I think in my opinion from the tandoor v early very limp. On the whole a nice place in Sudbury to have a meal Now onto the service, I came into the restaurant, obviously I don’t look Arabic and they all started to look at me. Why am I here? I asked if I can sit down and said sure and then I went up to the counter to order and I had to wait a good few minutes even though a few of the servers and chefs had walked past me looked at me in the eye, but ignored me I was getting frustrated thinking this is some sort of bigotry going on here until eventually one of them perked up and said what would I like to eat? So they might have been run off their feet but they need to step up their game on the service, I will still recommend this place for the quality of food just a few minor details to sort out to get five stars

This place is horrible, I’m standing in front of the till to order and the workers are just talking and not looking at me, i said twice can i order but they were talking to loud, bunch of idiots.

I had shawerma wrap from Ishtar and its really good. I can’t believe that they could serve such a big shawerma for half the price in other restaurants. Really good

Recently I see there is drop in service quality. I visit with a hope it help change my opinion but it never does. I visited this place for takeaway and was disappointed with taste of the item I ordered. I don’t have any complains with the service but since I have had similar dishes in other restaurants my expectations were a bit higher with middle eastern cousins.

Great food, great service at a good price

I have been told the food is amazing here, but from my experience, I am not impressed. The lamb shwarma wasn't tasty at all. The meat was too dry, probably it being overcooked on the grill. The hygiene aspect needs to be looked at. It's very poor. Don't think I will be going back.

One of best kurdish restaurants in Sudbury Hill, London. £4.50 for chicken or lamb wrap. fresh naan, fresh salad and fresh meats. Always busy. Need get in some yogurt please. Mr Yogurt will deliver yogurt.

An unexpected surprise find in Sudbury Hill. Really good large mix kebab plate with hot fresh bread. Served by friendly staff at reasonable prices. I will definitely be making a return visit.

Best Iraqi Kebab in London. Friendly staff. To those complaining that the kebab is brittle and fatty. This is authentic Iraqi kebab. plenty of other places to get inferior typical doner shop style kebab elsewhere!

Complete disappointment….. bad service, uncooked mince kofta kebabs full of fat…… no sauce, rude attitude. Very disappointed, the guy picked up the most un cooked Breads to get rid of them. Only good for shawarma wrap.

Excellent kebabs at a very reasonable price. Eat here most days. The chicken Shawarma sandwich or chicken wings are my regular items for me. Love it. The grilled chicken tikka and lamb skewers are the best around and the traditional bread it awesome. The bread it cooked onsite in front of you for absolute freshness. Get Turkish tea to wash it down. All served with side salads and sauces. The Hummus is again the best around with fresh flat bread.... and not on the menu for you can ask for it is the Tzatziki. I highly recommend this place.

went to Ishtar grill recently and I must say the service is on point and quick with staff that actually care about the food the lamb shawarma was delicious and at a very reasonable price definitely going again

AVOID THE LAMB SHAWARMA! Lamb shawarma is by far the worst quality I’ve had. Every mouthful is full of cartilage, sinew and fat. They need better quality lamb for the shawarma. I’ve been to a lot of dodgy shawarma places. But the quality of the lamb is a new low at this place. They must be getting it for dirt cheap because it’s all sinew and cartilage.

First time here just now on a whim, great value at £4.50 for mixed wrap. Bread made fresh and cooked in front of you. Fresh salad, decent garlic and chilli sauce. What's not to like. Will be back for the shawarmas to try those soon.

Best shawarma wraps that I have tried in the area! Handmade and freshly baked wraps combined with tasty salads and quality meat.

Descent portion, good taste and fair price.

Ordered the mixed grill with rice, the mixed grill was very average tasting nothing special. The kofte which is usually the highlight of any mixed grill was awful full of fat and extremely brittle, it breaks as soon as you touch it I had high hopes for this place considering how busy it can get but really disappointed.

I got the mixed grill and it was value for money. Only the kebab strip was a little dry and roasted tomato tasted odd... a little soapy. otherwise the rest of it was very tasty.

We ordered grilled chicken for takeaway. The chicken was burnt! Didn't realise this until we got home
