Island spice in East Lindsey

Food was late, time was delayed twice before we were told to ring the place. When we did we were informed that they had dropped it off at somewhere else and we had to go collect it, so much for delivery. They said we had put the wrong number in the app, which is false as when we called them before to order (multiple times) they never answered. They also said we put the wrong address although we hadn’t. Food was Luke warm when we got it. Not ordering again.

Absolutely disgusting food me and my family took 1 bite a threw it away. The food was freezing and undercooked and tasted like cardboard. Definitely heated up I don’t recommend at all i don’t usually care enough to write reviews but this was probably the worst food I’ve ever had.

Had problems with delivery tried to call to speak to the restaurant, the guy on the phone needs to work on his customer service relations, it's really rude to put the phone down on a paying customer. Four of us had been looking forward to fish and chips and decided to sit in as it was freezing cold. Not much open either on New Year’s Day. Large haddock, mushy peas. Standard haddock and curry sauce. Two standard fish specials. These came with tea or coffee plus bread and butter, mushy peas, beans or curry sauce. All were decidedly average mine was a little greasy. Not the same quality as my usual takeaway. A bit disappointed to be honest but you have to try new places.

There hiring policies are terrible. You can go in for an interview and be told you will hear back in monday. The don’t hear a thing. Yet your expected to wait.
