Isle of Olive in Hackney

Whenever I need a Greek fix, this is the place. I can get the Greek pasta for pastitsio, the Greek salt from Messolongi, and some fillo pastry pies which are super tasty. I find the mountain teas and olive oil and Greek pulses and much more. Lots of vegan options and products. I just wish it was cheaper.

그리스 음식과 식품을 판매하는 곳입니다. 메뉴 종류가 그다지 많지 않고, 평일에는 수프와 음료, 디저트 종류만 판매하기 때문에 레스토랑이라고 부르기가 좀 애매하네요. 주말에는 그날의 특별메뉴를 판매합니다. 그리스음식이고, 가격도 저렴한 편이며, 맛도 훌륭합니다. 아주 품질좋은 올리브, 차 등의 그리스식품을 판매하는데, 가격대가 좀 있는 편입니다. 유통기한이 임박한 제품을 싸게 살 수도 있으니, 참고하세요. 분위기도 좋아요! 로컬들이 많이 찾는 곳이고, 이곳을 운영하는 사람들도 아주 따뜻한 사람들입니다.

Un Delicatessen para disfrutar de algunos griegos tartas y pasteles tradicionales griegas, ensaladas, sopas, sándwiches tostados y bocadillos o encontrar mercancías importadas de las islas. A un paso de Broadway Market, una tienda pequeña y muy bien, con un servicio atento, comida de calidad y precios razonables. Mucho amor y poco falta para (quizás algunos platos calientes o un menú más extenso) en esta joya independiente recomendó comida gourmet.

Mi novio y yo encontramos la isla de aceite el año pasado y nos enamoramos de este lugar! La comida es hecha y es tan buena que no puedo parar de regresar! Su Baklava es el mejor que he probado nunca, y la Bougatsa griega (una versión de un pastel de crema pastelera) es demasiado bueno para poner en palabras, hay que probarlo! Podría seguir el listado todo en el menú (hemos trabajado bastante por ahora), pero es más rápido (y precisa) a decir que todo es perfecto. Siempre hay algo nuevo en el menú, y normalmente algo que nunca hemos probado antes. Hay una gran selección de aceites de oliva, aceitunas y tés de hierbas frescas, así como todo tipo de especialidades griegas. Estamos siempre hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos, y es la siguiente mejor cosa de realmente estar en Grecia. Sin duda ellos pagar una visita.

The fresh food is really nice and there are lots of tempting things to buy. A few seats and tables for customers. The baked goods are delicious. As are the olives.

We came across this shop / cafe and had a delicious lunch. The shop has many tasty Greek / mediteranian products (baked goods, cheeses, coffee, snacks etc) that you can eat on site or take home with you.

This shop-cafe just off Broadway Market offers a chance to sample and buy quality Greek oil, honey, olives, preserves, wines and more from Gregoris and Paulina, who are welcoming, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. If you have time to eat, the salads and pastries are delicious - try the mountain tea, wonderful! This is not an enormous place, nor is it crammed with tasteless options - it is small, thoughtful, pleasing, and the products are of high quality. I have been shopping and eating there ever since it opened and would highly recommend it.

I have visited this place for lunch and really enjoyed. Food is tasty and service is good. Place is very small but has a nice atmosphere.
