Istanbul Delight in Great Yarmouth

Not the best! couldn't taste the kebab as had to choose 2 sauces that drowned the food, thete was far too much, would be better if sauces came in pots

Arrived after 10 minutes of calling.. fabulous

Delivered early, food was piping hot and absolutely delicious!

Ordered two LARGE chicken doners, each kebab only had ten pieces each. It werent even the right chicken either, will NOT be going back there.

The woman behind or on telephone was really great with service but Not the best tasting kebab around....chips tast a bit weird like been in differnt oil or sumin,burger similar but was ok enough to eat and 1 other thing well over priced compared to the better 1 i go now yummy kebab...thanks

We went to eat with my family because we saw that it was called Istanbul, but it had nothing to do with it, it was dirty and greasy everywhere, I asked for some cloth to clean the tables because we were with the children, the attitude was terrible, they were angry about that, we asked to eat, I do not recommend it

Beat kebab shop in Hemsby. Friendly staff and food is amazing. Wouldn't get a kebab from anywhere elch.

Been using this restaurant for over 2 years never complained never had to till the other day my pizza had the smallest bit of sauce and was dry just mentioned it to staff and got told I was wrong an was nothing wrong with the pizza I wasn’t even expecting anything just wanted to let them know will never ever use this place again I cannot believe they couldn’t take the tiniest bit of feedback so if you have a problem with this restaurant don’t make staff aware as they will tell you your in the wrong and that your lien rude staff

Hard crust dry no sauce had to put in bin. Worst pizza ever had went in to tell them didn’t believe us 2 August 2024

pizza is banging but bit annoyed with the service as i had to wait over an hour for a pizza and didn't receve any garlic sauce with it as requested and and im only a 7 min drive down road ( delivery driver was lovely tho )

Chips cold and chicken wrap wasn’t even wrapped

Price has gone up, quality has gone down & portions have shrunk

Semi cooked fried chicken (still pink inside). Soggy burger and roll. Fries were ok. Sub optimal taste....food has no soul.

Crust and base burnt black. Tasted like cheese on toast. I love pizza but don’t have often due to stomachs restrictions so this was a treat and would have been my meal for 2-3 days so very disappointing

My kebab. Doner meat, OK. Chili OK. Salad, yikes. Very dried out. I ordered at 5pm. I guess it was unused salad from the previous day? I will try Yummy next.

This is the best kebab I’ve ever had! Cooked to perfection. Tasty and fresh, great portions. Every order is spot on, timely with delivery and they never make any mistakes with what we’ve ordered. The staff are dedicated and hardworking; always accommodate our requests. Without a shadow of a doubt this is the place for kebabs, burgers and pizzas in Hemsby! Mike and all the team are amazing x

Best food we ate while away staying at sundowner. We had pizza, chicken and potatoe surprise, everything was Piping hot and so lovely! Will defo return when we come back.

The best takeaway we've ever eaten!! Fresh, piping hot, pizza was amazing, the lamb shish just melted in your mouth, sfc fell off the bone & was so soft, definitely deserves more than 5* delivered straight to our caravan within half hour of ordering

Ordered from these guys while in Caister on holiday in Haven caravan site they wouldn't let em on site no problem meet em at the gates . These guys no there stuff awesome kebabs fresh chicken and salad thanks for bringing me my tea will use again

What a weird pizza! Never have I been to a pizza place and got a pizza that resembled a frozen pizza from a supermarket - until now. Wasn't terrible though and tasted good.

Pizza was dead, burnt to a crisp on the edges. These pizzas cost pennys to make especially this margerita, so why box that up and hand that over? Surely just make it fresh? The kebab not to bad.

So good, even the seals come inland from the shore to seek it out !

The food here is excellent, we was staying nearby and went here 3 times, I collected it each time, the staff are very friendly and the shop is presented well (the best mixed doner wrap I've had in a while)

Whilst in Hemsby we decided to have Pizza ..weather was poor so thought we would sit in and eat .. bit surprised not one price in sight ..all taped over and cash only .. didn’t want to make a fuss .. until I found a hair on my Pizza .. never had a refund so quick……

By far the best kebab I've ever had. Their mixed chicken and doner is so lovely ... Proper meat, fresh salad. Spot on!

Ordered twice from here whilst on holiday. The food is lovely and can’t fault that but the second time we ordered in the same week everything had increased in price. Whilst I get the cost of living is increasing a £3 increase on garlic bread is appalling in my eyes and so not worth it

This place is great, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, the food is cook fresh and tastes bloody great, we have been here a few times now and will be coming back. We eat in every time as we enjoy the banter with the staff 🤪

To call this place a delight would be a slight overexaggeration, although I do have very high standards for what I would consider a delight. Miriam-Webster dictionary defines "delight" as "a high degree of gratification or pleasure". Now I understand that language is subjective and one's own judgment of what can be delightful is personal to them. However, there was no free food, there was no dancing, there was a lack of silent serenity from feeling like all life's problems had disappeared. If you would like to read more, Wittgenstein makes good arguments on the subjectivity of language use. I would like to continue this discussion in the replies section. Lovely midnight drop off from Istanbul delight. Delicious hot fresh chicken, chips and lovely spuds. Two lovely guys delivered with a smile right to the gate of the holiday park. Thank you very much

Not going to lie here and ive been to Turkey many times, but this kebab from here was amazing. Everything is cooked in front of you, the portions are huge so you'll do well to finish your mixed kebab, plus the staff were very nice indeed. Great little restaurant/takeaway, so glad we stubbled across it whilst checking the local towns out by the coast side. 6 star review if i could :-)

Reported to Trading Standards - Ordered face to face in their Restaurant Wednesday 15th July 2020. On an £18.00 order a 50p charge was added for card payment! This has been illegal in the UK since 2018!

First time ordered from here food was delivered really quickly it was pipping hot and really nice also chips were fresh not manky re-fries. I will go back again and try again.

The meat special pizzas we ordered were cold and tasteless cheap meat used I guess ....wouldn't recommend and wont be ordering again .
