This place was always a favourite for my brother and it's been a staple within the village for the past several years. The food is always lovely and the portions plentiful, I cant say a bad word about the place even the host staff are welcoming. Thank you for the service and I look forward to our next visit.

I ate at this restaurant a few times before it changed hands, and always had a good experience. However, on my most recent visit, I found, who I assume to be a Manager, to be quite rude so, on balance, I will give my custom to other local restaurants in the future.

We have just been for lunch with our one year old. The staff are amazing and so lovely. They were fantastic with my little girl. We have been several times and every time the food is gorgeous and the service is faultless. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Amazing food and service!

We recently visited Istanbul Grill, and I have to say, it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time! We started with the hot and cold meze, which were absolutely delicious—every bite was full of flavor. The highlight for us was the Istanbul Grill Special—it was incredible! The portions were great! As well as the mocktails. The staff were so attentive and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It’s such a great spot for families, and we all had a wonderful time. We’ll definitely be back!

Been there last saturday for my friends birthday party, had a great experience with the staff and the atmosphere of the restuarant. With such a large party the staff did a great job with bringing out the meals at the same time. By the way the free flaming sambuca was a great touch for birthday girl

Appalling! We visited this restaurant a few weeks back and the lamb shank was delicious so we decided to do the 30 min drive back last night. My husband ordered the chicken and lamb dish and i went for the lighter option of maze for one. My salad was brown and the chicken was dry and the sauce tasted powdery. The manager responded with ‘well it shouldn’t have come with salad anyway so what’s wrong with the rest of it’ honestly I couldn’t believe his response! He stood staring at me and I had to ask him to take the dishes away. As we finished our drinks he was evidently talking about us with the waitress and smirking over at me, I’ve never felt so uncomfortable. I asked for the bill and abruptly he said ‘pay on your way out’ clearly was not wanting to bring my bill over, appalling behaviour. On our way out I shared how rude he was and he said ‘I tasted your chicken and it was fine’ I explained that was his opinion but he should never disrespect a customer the way he did, he should never treat anyone is such an appalling way. I would suggest he attends a training course to equip him with the adequate skills to be more welcoming and considerate. Only 2 other people in the whole restaurant at 5pm, I should have read this as a sign!!! In hindsight I should have refused to pay for our drinks after the way he treated us! I never leave reviews but this was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had.

The Istanbul Grill in Culcheth has become one of our favourite dining out venues - whether it's a family occasion or just my wife and myself for a quiet evening meal. The staff are very friendly, the service is attentive, the ambient atmosphere is just right and most importantly, the food is top drawer with both Turkish and Italian options to choose from.

over 40 minutes waiting time for 4 meals. kids behind me almost wacked me on the head with a tray!!! very loud, although the food was very nice and drinks were lovely.

Our party if four would fully recommend this restaurant. Wide choice of dishes, friendly staff and efficient service. Nothing was too much trouble and got a sense that they wanted you to enjoy the experience. Starters and mains all to be recommended especially the sharing meze and the lamb casserole. Everything well presented and hot. Would definitely revisit.

This is a lovely restaurant with a huge selection which would suit any palate. My husband and I called in after a day of Christmas shopping and were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. We got to choose if we wanted to sit inside or in the heated conservatory area which again was nice touch. My husband has a gluten intolerance and in the past we have struggled to find a menu that suited his needs and desire for a tasty dining experience but here his options were plentiful. Portion sizes were a lot bigger than expected which added to the overall feeling of value for money. We will defiantly be returning and bringing friends or family with us next time

We dined at the ‘Istanbul Grill’ restaurant. Absolutely spotless, a very polite waiter with great service….. with a smile. The culinary delights were definitely one of the best restaurants we’ve eaten at, 100% at the top end of the leaderboard! Starters….. We had the ‘Meze sharing Platter’ for 2, A selection of hummus, tzatziki, Turkish salsa, stuffed vine leaves, crispy jalapeño peppers with spicy cream cheese, falafel, chicken wings, feta filo rolls and Turkish sausage served with freshly baked Turkish bread. Entrée Again a platter to share: ‘King of the grill’…..on a sizzling hot plate… A mixture of marinated lamb chops, minced lamb koftes, minced spicy chicken Patties, skewered mixed chicken, lamb cubes with peppers, onions….melt in the mouth chicken fillets served with tzatziki, rice and garnish. All the food was soooooo tasty and piping hot….. We will definitely be returning to this gem of a restaurant….. We are so, so full…. Delicious cuisine. Special thanks to the very polite and professional waiter Emrah and 100% compliments to the chef, Ibo. We’ll definitely be returning very soon.

Travelled 125 miles to spend another amazing evening with my husband, sister and brother in law. The food as usual was outstanding and Sam the waiter was brilliant. Would recommend 100%. Amazing place and staff… thank you again.

Came to Istanbul grill last Saturday. Couldn’t fault it. Service was brilliant and the food was just as good.

Fantastic meal and service as always. Lovely atmosphere. Eaten here several times and the King of the grill is our favourite meal. All the meat is cooked to perfection and nicely served. Family members travel from Northampton to eat with us here, as its one of their favourite restaurants. Always our go to choice.

Started off so well we were seated soon as we arrived this is where the best part ends…. 20mins to be asked would we like a drink left 25-30 mins with empty glass no option of refill Starter arrived quickly the mixed platter was a lovely selection extremely tasty. Where do I start with the main course well our waiter seemed to think after 60 mins that we was ready for our dessert yes before we had even had our main to be then told its would be another 20 mins we could understand if they had been flowing food out constantly in that hour we had only seen 1 table receive there main 20 mins passed by the food came out beautifully presented moussaka and mixed kebab skewers the latter being stone cold chicken and lamb what had supposedly come off the grill this went back with horrendous attitude from our waiter food came back warm but had been waiting nearly 2 hours at this point so are it did complain at the end but complaints seem to go over there heads would I recommend this place absolutely not

Excellent value for money on the lunchtime two course menu deal. Good choice of starters and mains. Food was tasty and served hot. The waiter was attentive without being obtrusive . Would certainly recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant and staff are pleasant but the food isn’t. Ordered the stone baked bread starter which was shop bought and cold and and specialty lamb stew for mains which was a sparse insipid broth served with salad and rice. Very odd food indeed

We’ve eaten here several times, and last night again was fabulous.  We had a starter and a main course each and I had a dessert. The starters and the mains were large, hot and delicious.  Unfortunately the carrot cake I had, was a little dry even with ice cream. Perhaps it was left from the weekend. (This was a Monday evening) Staff are attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend this lovely restaurant.

The food was nice there but they left some cling film in my dish. The waiter first doubted it when we told him (even though the plastic was still in the dish) but eventually apologised. No commercial gesture was offered. Mistakes happen but the lack of concern about serving their customers warmed up plastic is very disappointing.

I came to this restaurant for the first time and all I can and all I can say is the food was exceptional and the customer service matched the quality of the food I couldn’t flaw the young staff as they was very helpful and ensured we all had a good night.

We decided to drop in here last night as we were in the area and looking for somewhere to go and as we had a number of lovely meals here seemed an easy choice. We started off with the mussels and Turkish sausage starters all fine tasty sauce on mussels a bit thick but tasty, we had ordered chicken stroganoff and Iskender kebab for mains , my wifes stroganoff was not stroganoff it was more like a mustard sauce ( she is not having much luck with stroganoff lately ) and had to be sent back as also cold , my iskender was served on a bed of Turkish bread that was inedible and so hard the meat looked like a stir fry nothing like iskender I had had here and other places previously, good bit as soon as we let them know the heated up my wife’s chicken and changed my dish for something else. As we said we have had some lovely meals here and will give it another go but felt this is not the restaurant it was!!

Well it is authentic, and it does have a great menu and it's an OK place to sit ... not so busy on this visit. It's also pretty low-priced. But somehow it just doesn't hit the spot food-wise. Nothing specific, just left me feeling I'd some OK food, but no WOW factor
