Ordered for takeaway, large mixed kebab, and portion of chips. Kebab was great, especially kofte, as it's my favourite. Chips seemed to be a little overcooked but was alright. Will order here again.

I've had good things from here for the past 2 decades and it's generally been very good. The doner I had a couple of night ago wasn't great and others are much tastier.

The Istanbul in New Bradwell has been consistently the best kebab shop in Milton Keynes for many decades, it's just a tier above any other kebab sold for takeaway in Milton Keynes. Today's kebab was no different, top quality and fresh.

I used to come to thus house, but since they put the prices up, I stopped going.. I've heard all the excuses, but others don't charge as much. My advice to Istanbul, lower your prices, people will come back. High prices are only short term gain

I have been eating here since I was a kid... has never changed. If you like Turkish style kebab house.. this is legit 👌. Honestly so glad the food is the same quality as years ago.. the prices are above average but it's worth it. The staff are lovely and very friendly. The food never disappoints and to be honest I don't think there has ever been a time something has been incorrect or wrong with any of my previous orders.

Disappointing restaurant didn’t follow serving instructions has submitted salad wasn’t good pure onions I stated separate salad and sauce only to be delivered the opposite remarkably disappointing service from the restaurant.

Chips were cold, cabbage stale and one peice of chicken missing

The chips were crispy but the kebab meat was dry and tasteless. After a couple of mouthfuls it was like eating Cardboard.

Not great, got chips that been cooked over again, donar dry, 2 piece chicken no flavour only thing was good chilli sauce and hummus been recommended by a friend never again don't waste your money

Was tasty as always. Portions could be smaller though as some food always goes to waste as it’s so filling.

Had the Double Up Deal, 2 pizzas and they were excellent. First visit but impressed so far. Will try the burgers next time. Delivery was £1.50 though it arrived within 30 minutes.

Chicken fillet burger was inedible, nothing but deep fried gristle. Not even convinced it was chicken. Delivery driver was rude

What an awful experience, £50 for that dinner was disgusting. First time I ordered and never again. The food was overcooked and disgusting, the portion size was terrible for the money; I am Turkish and won’t ever order from here again; food upset my belly and the only thing that I ordered that was ok….. was the bottle of Pepsi max; £3.95 for a 1.5ltr. expensive, but probably the best thing on the menu if that’s how the food tastes. Not even 1 star.

I don't care what the hygiene rating is in the door take no notice. I went into the shop and ordered a chicken kebab. The staff pick up the raw marinated chicken skewers from inside the cold cabinet and they pass them over the prepped salad on their way to the grill. A true recipe for food poisoning I will never have food from this place again.

After many brilliant meals this was disappointing.it was certainly cold and the meat was lame and poor quality. It was like left overs from the last service.

Went at 4 pm been given all old meat. All dried. Spent £30 for dried food.

Food quality gone down , turks got greedy and show fake and unsincere loyalty towards customers who have used them for 20+ years, we should start avoiding businesses which do not put anything back into the local community and are only concerned about there profits entirely.

We’ve been customers for years and understand tonight was busy being it was Christmas Eve, but wasn’t the usual quality! Too much salad and not enough meat and was unfortunately cold. Which was a surprise considering it was delivered early. Shame!

I have always ordered from Istanbul but this is first time I can honestly say it was NOT a good order. Shish was awful and chicken kebab was so full of chilli sauce it ruined the pita bread which was soggy and inedible. Shame as I loved their kebabs - sorry

Went on Saturday evening thinking that lamb kebab would be fresh, could not be worse… dry and cold pulled out of that pot …. Will never go again

I tried a mixed kebab (kofte and lamb shish), which was fairly average. Meat was nice and clean, but the taste was not exceptional.

By far the best kebabs in MK. Friendly staff and top quality food. The best thing about this takeaway is that the food quality is always consistent. The shop has a new layout and they also take orders on their website directly which is a plus. Cash machine near by.

I’m sick of this place, everytime I go I get my self a kebab, and after every time I’ve ate the same night or day after I get the worse S***sever, and I’ve had more than just the doner, no idea what kind of hygiene the place has but the food can’t be good anymore if all I’m doing is s******g my guys out

I’ve been ordering for here for almost 7 years now. The stuff are great and the food is good and I’m always happy with my order

So ordered 8 bits of chicken tonight and have to say only 2 bits of this chicken were edible, the rest were rubbish cuts of meat, I mean bones with nothing on them, it's not the first time this has happened but we learned to order more than we need to get some good cuts but this time it's got worse so that's it, no more chicken for you lot as I don't like getting ripped off !.

Only negative part is no discount on a Tuesday.

Unfortunately this has happened before but I had 2 pizzas tonight as it’s my birthday but ever time I picked up a slice the whole topping fell off the dough !! Very disappointed won’t be having one again 🥲…. UPDATE!! 12/11/22 Since I last done this review I have tried their pizzas again and what an improvement they have made and only the weekend just gone I had one and it was superb and of course the legendary kebab so well done Istanbul’s. Definitely will be having more
