istanbul meze bbq kebab in Huntingdonshire

Ordered a collection through takeaway-st Neots app and the food was ready right on time. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food itself was great, full of flavour, cooked to perfection and not greasy. Arguably the best kebab shop in st Neots.

Chips and doner meat were dry, was cold when arrived too, no flavour

Great service , ordered via uber and I actually ordered something no longer on menu, revieved a phone call amd said send a surprise instead , wow was not expecting the surprise I reveived

Nice food. Portion sizes are a bit inconsistent. Poor customer service, they don't make an effort to follow up on their promises of returning calls or taking action on a well overdue refund. It's a shame because they used to be our regular.

Good food, polite staff, my only issue is that the portions are not consistent. My 4th visit since I discovered this place, three times I bought the any 3 platter, but requested that lamb doner be the only meet (x3). The serving I got the second and third time has dwindled significantly, the last serving was about the same I got for the rice dish with donar. We'll see what happens next time.

Amazing and delicious food, will be going again and again, the service is always excellent and the food never disappoints one of mine and my family’s favourite places to eat! Can’t recommend enough!

Boss man was very polite and helpful 👌 food is on point. I was in St neots and decided to grab a takeaway to take back to huntingdon.. these could come and teach the kebab shops of huntingdon a thing or two that's for sure. Very nice thank you lads !

Ordered a New Year’s Day takeaway after cooking all Christmas. Hadn’t had a takeaway in months! Burger was shocking, who grills the outside of a bun??? Was like a biscuit! Waited an age for a rubbish expensive takeaway….no wonder it’s been months, I’ll stick to cooking! Disgusting.

Recently discovered this place, I love the selection of foods.

Ordered falafel wrap as always via St. Neots Takeaway app and this time received falafel starter. The owner was rude on the phone and didn’t want to solve this. The whole food was cold and other wrap also filled with cold salad. Wanted to give minus rating. Not going to order again from this restaurant.

Over priced undersized and bland

Over priced. Got 4 small lamb cubes in my wrap. And 3 pieces of chicken in the chick kebab. The kebab costs £9 with no fries. They just fill the dish with salad to make up for the pitiful meat portion. Stay away!!

Only Decent Kebab For Takeaway Locally

Ordered a large doner and chicken kebab got 5 bits off chicken and hardly no doner plenty off chips that were hard and cost £17 not worth the money will not be going there again

Ordered takeaway. Came quick👍. Got four small pieces of lamb and a bit of salad and four small pieces of chicken for £30. Rip off. The Turkish pitta is a lump of dry bread, would be great as a door stop. Salad was nice but I could of got the same from tesco for 3 and a half quid.

I actually went in to the take away today and was very impressed on how clean and tidy it was and you could actually see under the cooler hood and it was very clean but anyway o had the large chicken kebab with lovely fresh salad and chilli sauce which was abit hot but nice and my boss had the a small doner kebab with garlic sauce and it’s got to be one of the best kebab takeaways around St Neots and I highly recommend it…

What can I say? Totally rubbish, it didn't arrive...no answer when I called restaurant either. Will keep trying to contact as they have taken the money for the order and no food has arrived. Total joke!!

1 star is generous, staff are completely ignorant, food was terrible and overpriced for what we received. Save your money and order elsewhere

Shame a minus star isn’t available, the worst service I’ve ever experienced, ordered the chicken baiti wrap, £12 and it was tiny, 2 bits of chicken, no salad. Rang them and they said they would replace with a kebab of my choice after some persuading. Called back after 15 mins and he proceeded to tell me that all drivers have gone home so sorry will have to go through Deliveroo, I asked why he didn’t call me back and he said “I was about to”. Poor service, poor standard of food and to top it off, Deliveroo will not refund us. Avoid this place!!!

Wouldn’t let me choose less than 1 star ! Took over hour and a half couldn’t get through on the phone to chase- when we did eventually get through the lady was clueless wouldn’t check our order progress and just stated they were busy- despite request didn’t get a refund as then stated food was on its way. Food turned up looking like it had been dropped on the floor! Again no option for a refund. Food was completely cold. Never using again !

We ordered two kebabs online a few weeks before Christmas, but only one arrived in our order. We tried to ring 4 or so times but no one answered. We left it until the next day or so and rang again to which they apologised and said we could have a free kebab on our next order. When we ordered again they refused and said they had no recollection of our complaint. We payed £20 for one kebab.

Third time I've ordered from here recently using the St Neots Takeaway app and I really can't fault it.. the food has been consistently good and good portion size. The delivery guys have all been prompt and very friendly

Ordered a meal and was told 16min waiting was waiting 35mins, I called the shop and was told it was on its way 20mins later nothing and still never received my food.

Frankly just poor. Arrived quickly and was still warm when it arrived, but for getting on for £15 to be delivered I expect way better. Boiled/steamed rice with a sad salad (admittedly fresh) and some ok meat just isn’t acceptable. Curly fries were fine, but… who can’t manage that? The portion was generous, but I would prefer the meal to be good and half the size than this poor. (The photo is after I gave it my best) The place LOOKS great, but for me is a total fail. 😞was hoping for much more. The extra star is purely because I can’t fault the speed of delivery, apparent cooking of the lacklustre meal or the friendliness of the delivery lass. 100% won’t bother again.

Quality of is meat is good but size and price kill it

Too often the order arrives incorrect. Ordered lamb shish today, but got chicken shish. Can put up with occasional errors, but what really annoyed me is it took 15 minutes of continuous calling before they answered the phone so I could get a replacement sent.

I usually love you food but YET again something was missing. How can you miss the rice out of a rice box. I was told on the phone that you were very busy .its Friday night I would hope as a restaurant you would be. The offer of replacement in half an hour would be have been nice but then the meat would be cold . So I had meat and salad as bread was too hard to eat . Such a disappointment I hope next time I get everything I order.

Sent wrong order rang up for replacement told it would take over an hour 🙄 because of this I requested a refund was told to contact just eat, contacted just eat for refund was refused as they had sent out replacement which I did not want this isn't the 1st time this has happened so won't be ordering from there again, a shame as it was always my go to growing up

Gave me food poisoning on the last 2 occasions i have ordered from there. If you value your health do not eat anything from them. Have informed Health Standards Agency and i suggest anyone else that has had a bad experience from this restaurant to do the same so it is shut down

Very hit and miss went to this restaurant 2 weeks ago ordered large lamb doner. It was very nice all round was very happy. Went and ordered here last night the food was very different tasted like a cheap fish and chip shop kebab and to round it off had bad guts this morning. I hear they keep changing people chef etc. Please keep on the people that was working 2 weeks ago as last night food was vile

Very unhappy with the takeaway service we ordered from Istanbul St.Neots. We have used our local takeaway before and was happy with the food and service. So we ordered yesterday and it was awful, incredibly small portions for a starter that was supposed to be for 4 people It only came with 6 tiny rectangular pieces of flat bread the mix cold starter had no flavour. Our main was supposed to be a mix grill was agin very small portion size. Normally we have ordered before & had no problems in the past with good food & just the right amount. Honestly very disappointed. Won’t be ordering again.

Just had the most disgusting meal! Have used this for many years and enjoyed! Tonight it was delivered cold, burnt smallest chop I’ve ever seen! and without salad. They even told me they had put up their prices due to Covid. ( by £2:50) I phoned and asked to speak to manager was told he is too busy!!

I have a clear notice on my letterbox in red letters saying "no junkmail" and "addressed mail only." What's even worse is, your flyer delivery person even looked at it closely but STILL posted i through my door. You've just ensured that i won't be ordering.

Sadly that which used to be one of the best kebabs around is now awful. Believe they changed supply sometime last year. Doner meat is now always undercooked and chunks rather than long strands nicely crisped on one side. Was very much their last chance for me and they failed miserably.

Second time half the order forgoten and had to argue for it , amateurs trading in st neots again , id give them the benefit but its not the first time , again ? Very disappointed again , 10 yrs ago Istanbul used to have a good rep .

Had collection today and people that work there has been really rude !!! The food hasn't been done properly ,just because there was 2 different people taking my order and keep walking off ,wasn't interesting what I do actually want until I realized they start putting staff in a box not how I wanted...the rest of the food was ready and getting cold on the side until they sorted mine out I was looking and could not believe what is actually happening ,got home in 5min food got dry and cold ! Not having this again!

20 minutes late, half a pita on one of the kebabs and told that the extra chilli sauce that was ordered and paid for would be free next time...there will be no next time!

Called to place an order only to be told your card machine wasn’t working and I needed to go on Just Eat to order. I did that and paid £2 for the privilege and couldn’t personalise the order (no tomatoes, added garlic sauce) so had to call back to do this. I explained the above to the girl on the phone and that I didn’t think I should be charged because your card machine isn’t working but she said her manager was too busy to speak to me. No email address or Facebook page to contact you on so unfortunately have had to give a review on here

The best take away by far. The chicken and lamb combo is gorgeous. No such thing as a a dirty kebab here! Succulent meat and the salad and rice is fresh and light.

Terrible customer service, awful food

Another hit or miss take away within St neots, i've ordered 3 lamb kebabs from this place within the past month and each of them have been burnt, lack of mayo/salad. I asked one of the staff members if i could have a bit more lettuce to then be glared at. My gf does love the cheesy chips tho:)

Very rude service over the phone, shouted at just for asking the member of staff to repeat something I didn't hear.

Collected an order and when I arrived after the agreed collection time they hadn't even started preparing it. Awful.

Gone right down hill since they joined Just Eat, they do a medium and large kebab, got a medium and it was smaller than I’ve ever seen, the salad is so skimpy I was VERY disappointed and will never be returning there again, you need to get it sorted out instead of being tight with your food, more disappointing reviews for you. Great food, nice big portions and not a bad price either. Its the perfect place if it's been a long night. It tends to be quite busy just after the pubs turn out but that aside a really great place. They do delivery and that's always quick and the divers are very friendly
