J D Wetherspoons Birmingham Airport in Solihull

Inside the airport through to the departures areas, we enjoyed some early refreshments in the form of liquids( if you follow) and full English breakfast. It was very busy with early travellers and everybody seemed tired but silently happy to be going on holiday's so it was great to experience the service we received by Wetherspoons overall and no problem recommending them either, check it out for your self if you are in the right place!

Cheap food and a pint. What more do you need.

It's a Wetherspoons! Usual quality and service. Great to have the screens to watch for our flight.

Go to the bar to order. Go over there to get the sauces. That was the worst buttermilk chicken burger I have ever eaten. This type of service is just not good enough.

Is it just me or is Wetherspoon's becoming depessing? It seems to be scraping by without quite being objectionable but with no positive qualities and certainly no joy. Has Tim lost it? I suspect so.

This Weatherspoons is located in the departure lounge of Birmingham International airport. The service is always very quick (so don't be put off if it's busy imo) an ideal place for food and drink before flying out.

Busy, expensive and not the fastest service. There are much better wetherspoons out there. £12 for a full English, £14 if you add black pudding. Over £6 a pint and slow service. The place was rammed and the tables are wedged together. I had people constantly knocking into me whilst try to eat as there is virtually no space to walk. Wish I had of gone to Peaky Blinders as there was loads more space and the food looked great.

The food was ok although the breakfast bacon was a bit dry and the baked beans were not the best

Food was good and quick. Very friendly staff. Menu holders weren't great kept following. Tim sort it out. Not bad for a weatherspoons chain.

The spoons is great. A little cramped but that is to be expected in a busy airport pub.

Better experience here today. Six cask ales. Got served fairly quickly. Obviously not standard spoons prices since its in departures.

Food was good, service was good, ordered hassle free on-line, Coffee nice & hot, but value for money iffy. Small Brekkie at £ 9.60 was a Joke.

Lovely polite lass kept having to tell me the beer i ordered was not available. She did so with aplomb. Did not eat and it is in the airport so the other scores are irrelevant

Had to tidy up and clean own tables. Staff too busy chatting. Breakfast freezing, simple meal to keep warm. Tried to request hot meals , unable to get to get ANYONES attention!!!

It's a spoons at the airport, I was going on holiday so it's always going to be a 10/10 experience regardless.

Witherspoon in Birmingham airport is always busy. Plenty of tables that will be come available at somepiomt , staff are always working hard to cleant things away for the next person , drinks are reasonable.

It's a pub in an airport, but done very well. Food fresh and quickly delivered, we had fish and chips and were very happy! Couple of cheeky beers and wait for the flight was very bearable.

I like this place. I regularly fly and try and make time to visit here. Ordering by app is fastest but you need to find a place to get a signal on the WiFi to do this. Food comes fast and is of course expensive. But the staff are friendly and there is no rush to leave. Free refills on hot drinks. Reccomended

Usual average weatherspoon offerings at twice the price. Other more imaginative, better quality outlets are available nearby. We all know Weatherspoons offers ok ish food at bargain prices and that is why we accept the cheap and cheerful. The airport Spoons is clearly a cash cow for the brand. Service is quick and friendly, food is uninspired and menu devoid of offers. More importantly everything is at least double the street bar price for the same thing. Don't expect good value here! 😕

Ham Eggs and Chips. Three weafer thin slices of ham. Two extremely dry fried eggs and oven chips for £14. Extremely dry and tastless meal and oven chips had a stingy taste of old oil from them. I felt very unwell after mean. I wouldn't recommend food from here if at Birmingham Airport. Plenty of other choices

Easy to order food on the wetherspoons app or at the bar and service spot on

I ordered via mobile phone. They received money through paypal, but they did not receive my order because of system error. Then I did not get any meal although I paid money. I took contact several times, no reaction. I could give 0 star if possible.

It's a Wetherspoon in the airport, what more can I say? It does what it says on the tin. We quickly found an empty table, ordered via the QR code on the table and the food was delivered promptly without any delays. We both had the breakfast muffin. Tasted good, all cooked well, no complaints. Thank you spoons

Very fast service! I managed to order at the bar, went for a coffee and when I got back to the table food just arrived 😌 Quite nice full english breakfast, not as good as at he city but as for the airport service it’s okay. Not a fan of the coffee though, barely tastes as coffee. The Staff was very nice and very quick.

It's a wetherspoons but in the airport, which means they can name their price and you can either pay it or not. The staff are polite and friendly enough and the food and drinks are usual spoons standard. The over-pricing leaves a bitter taste but I suppose it's a seller's market.

Bit of an off day today. Problems in the kitchen and only part of the menu available. Pity because it's normally great value and range.

Its an airport wetherspoons, service was with a smile from overworked staff. Food is standard fare with an airport premium added. Good place to sit while waiting for your gate.

Menú típico de Wetherspoons pero menos Choice que la calle principal. Tiene el brunch de todo el día que era promedio - el tocino era muy duro, pero más aceptable. La mayor decepción es la enorme prima de precio sobre las cucharas en la calle principal. La calidad no era mejor y no justificaba el precio inflado. La bebida no estaba incluida en el precio de la comida.

Trouble is you haven't got a lot of places to drink and they have you at £8 a pint.

Overpriced everything and food not cooked well. Not a typical Wetherspoons experience.

Delma is a credit to this place. My mom has poor mobility and there were no tables available. She went out of her way to find us some chairs. She kept on checking on us. Please send her our gratitude. She is amazing

This is embarrassing, booked on an early morning flight. Popped in for breakfast (honestly)

The ramen was impressively bad. Would not recommend. I didn't try their burgers/paninis, but heard they're decent.

Busy airport food and drink outlet. Find a table, order on app and food and drinks are brought to your table. Excellent breakfast. Coffee is via self service machine (unlimited refills). Not bad at all.

A decent weatherspoons. It's very busy at times but quickly clears through. Food service is fast and to a good standard. Not weatherapoons prices though so just be prepared.

Before a flight we stopped for lunch all staff were polite and respectful Food could of been better portion but it’s an airport so I understand

It's busy , we used app to order and pay which was much quicker than queuing at bar , plenty of choice and service was fast , although staff are too busy to engage they fly around keeping orders flowing , probably the best place to kill time while waiting for hols .

Had lunch ere before the flight disgusting prices for the amount of food u get tables was very sticky no queing system for being served these meals cost £23.55 total rip off

We found that Wetherspoons at Birmingham airport to be excellent, the portions were huge and arrived very quickly.

At Birmingham airport, service was fast, prices were higher than in Northampton as it's an airport, the food was good but was not hot so by the end of the meal everything was cold. Food could have been served hotter and on warmed plates.

Great breakfast, choice of drinks and super quick service even when the place was heaving with customers...... However, unlike your general Wetherspoons this one is at an airport so you pay airport prices instead of 'Wetherspoons' prices which is rather disappointing (£42.40 for 2 breakfasts, 1 Guinness and a glass of wine).

very warm welcome, impeccable service and surprisingly for in the airport you find good food, a little problem with the wait, so plan ahead when you have lunch in this place, the wait is long, but the dishes are excellent

Rude bar staff! My husband asked a question about bitter. The girl serving just looked at him said yeah!! Yeah to what exactly!? He asked what bitter? No response so he ordered a Coors. She then goes to pour the drink and proceeds to stand with her colleagues slagging him off! Shocking customer service!

What can you say about an Airport Wetherspoons?? All the usual beers spoons has to offer, but at airport prices! It is the law to have a beer before flying... whatever time! Tables full of empty glasses and plates, we had to clear a table to be able to sit down and order. On a plus side, the app ordering was fast, and good service.

Lovely meal, shame about the waitress. She dropped chips off of our plate on to the table then proceded to pick them up with her fingers put them back on the plate for someone to eat......

Visited the Birmingham Airport Spoons for the 2nd time in the last 4 months & both times I have loved the great pre-flight atmosphere ! Always a nice pint and the food is nice, & for me the staff are so friendly I don't mind paying over the odds after all you are going on a holiday !!!!!

Great place to eat at the airport. Service is slow, so factor that into the time you have, if you need to catch a flight. The chicken wings were delicious, so we're the nachos. The halloumi could do with more seasoning. I will stop by again when I'm at the airport in Birmingham.

Good standard of food for venue, service was good and seating comfy and clean.

Absolutely gutted. Always fly from Birmingham. And wetherspoons has ALWAYS been start of the holiday for us. Today we were greeted with a paper menu (no chips) We, had Panini's they were barely any filling. Other than the seriously undercooked bacon. 2 Paninis 1 guiness 1 red wine nearly £40. Never Again

Ordered 2 bacon butties, they arrived at the table stone cold, staff returned it to the kitchen for fresh one's, still came out stone cold. Asked for refund and was sorted out. Staff are helpful but all look miserable

No food being served today (Monday 23rd Sept 2024), but still a great place to have a drink and relax before a long flight.

Very crowded place with people walking past you all the time. Its obviously depends on where are you sitting. For that little inconvenience you are getting really good food served straight to the table and cheap drinks. Coffee is unlimited and waiting for your plane is a pleasure✈️👌
