Jaal Indian Bar and Restuarant in Epping Forest

Me and the wife pop in to have a look and stayed for food. We was made to fell very welcome the Service was excellent and the food was great we enjoyed it and we are taking the family back for dinner would recommend this restaurant to anyone *****

We visit this restaurant frequently. It is by far the best Indian restaurant in the area. We have never had a bad meal here as the food is always delicious. The staff are extremely friendly and always welcome us with a smile and enquire how we are. The restaurant itself has a very relaxed atmosphere, is nicely decorated and spotlessly clean.

Friends ordered in an Indian from here it’s a pity they didn’t talk to me first I stopped using this restaurant after being served food that was off. A family member had an even worse experience. They are not what they seem especially Farouk who panders to you then laughs behind your back. Advised my friends to use an alternative. The owner needs to look at his staff very carefully. Was shown to our table and given a menu.I was with my daughter and her husband. The waiter asked what drinks we would like , my daughter and her husband gave their order , he then looked at me and said what about the old one . We all found this very rude as I’m just 60 and don’t look 60 but clearly to him I must have . We found this very rude and told him so . He just laughed . Food was ok but no spice . Won’t be going back , purely because the waiters have no manners .

If you want to try, I lovely traditional tasty, Indian cuisine, try this restaurant, good stock bar, children, friendly service, very good food exquisite I’m a frequent ETA to Indian restaurants. This one particularly is very good. If you like England food the mix grill was very nice, not dry very moist and tasty comes with a naan bread recommend some vegetables on the side and maybe a rice to serve with someone my first time here won’t be my last from John Kenny 🥂👍
