Good things. Service was great, waitresses were super attentive. Vibe was really nice, lovely cosy and chill atmosphere, lots of chatter and buzz. Cocktails were great, I had spicey margaritas which were delicious. Pork belly was nice, mezze platter was okay. Not so great. The prawn cajun Tacos did not have spec of seasoning on them, the prawns were boiled. The tomato bruchetta was sad, no seasoning and being my favourite food was disappointing. I think the food was a bit of a let down in such a nicely decorated place with a good atmosphere. Hopefully it was just a bad night as the other reviews are so positive.

Shabby chain, the kind of place where the staff know the food they’re serving is crap. No vegan fry up without eggs so someone in our group ordered a breakfast made from extras and it arrived on a small plate with smaller servings than the normal breakfast, despite the fact that you’re paying more for each item individually. The smashed avocado is frozen, as confirmed by the staff. If you order a grilled tomato as an extra you get 1 slice of tomato and it costs £2. Classic chain nonsense

We had a lovely time at Jack and Alice yesterday, they have really great cocktail deals and some good food deals throughout the week. Our favourites were the tacos (shrimp and duck) and the bang bang cauliflower. The atmosphere is nice, social but cosy and the staff were fantastic - Orla & Ava & Eris were all very attentive, friendly and welcoming - 100% recommend, will be going back for another round of cocktails in the future! 🥂

Great service ambience and decour, however the food is really over priced for what it is. I'm very surprised seeing all the food reviews about the food. Then again it looks like that all involved getting the steak which we didn't have. We got a very large selection of the tapas plates and nothing stood out as amazing. If you're going to spend this much, just go to sushi Jun down the road that place is incredible. Other wise there are much better places for value for money in Farnham, if you're looking for an inpendent place, go to the Bat n Ball, cafe piccolo, or hermanos tacos. All of which have cheaper and better food and aren't chains.

The team hosted 35 diners for a Christmas party booking. Dave and his management team were extremely patient and helpful nailing menu choices & all our needs ahead of the dinner. On the night we were very well looked after, food portions were mainly of a generous size and served on time and hot… everyone complimented on how nice the food was and how well looked after we were by Zahra and Ava throughout the entire evening. They even managed to cate for a diner who had been omitted from the list. I absolutely will be visiting again and recommend them for a visit!

Had the 8 ounce Sirloin Steak, gave a gluten free menu. It's clean, warm and welcoming! The food was top tier. I even have a decent mocktail. Eris was a brilliant server! Would highly recommend, next time we'll do tapas!

2 of us went for dinner on a Friday evening. It was busy but we had booked a table luckily. The waitress said it was tapas style, so to order a few plates and we were stuffed! Great place to have some food and a few drinks. Tha sharer nachos are great!

A great locally owned restaurant in the heart of Farnham. A great menu with local produce used, and most importantly friendly staff. Dog friendly too! :) Thank you to the lovely waitress Laila.

We had a lovely lunch at Jack and Alice. The atmosphere was lively, but not too loud. Our meals were delicious. I particularly loved the aubergine burger. Our server Laila was attentive and kind.

Great restaurant right in the heart of town. Out waitress Zaura was superb. She must receive an immediate pay rise and be promoted immediately.

Our server was not really with it, we ordered started and mains but it all came out together so everything got cold quite quickly. It did t really start well when we asked for a glass of Prosecco and she said what size is that? Food was fine just service wasn’t great

Good location for the evening. Large and very tasty menu, also lots of wine and various craft beers to choose from. The menu is also perfect for sharing with people. Warm Camembert with bread was delicious. Special thanks to Zoe, Ella and Echo for the great service and relaxed evening. We had a nice family dinner at Jack and Alice tonight for Taco Tuesday! With some delicious margaritas as well. Zoe and Arthur were great throughout the evening, making sure that we had all we needed to enjoy the meal. The only thing was that the kitchen seemed a bit out of synch as our tacos came out a little cold a few times. All in all, we enjoyed it and we'll be sure to come back another time.

First time going for breakfast the food was amazing. Staff were lovely and also met the Manager/Owner Craig who also had a chat. Evening menu also looks great so can't wait to go back and give that a try.

We had a fabulous evening, the cocktails were exceptionally tasty and freshly made. The staff were very sweet, attentive and friendly. The Fondue was exceptional. I would highly recommend. Looking forward to going again.

I have eaten here numerous time over the past few weeks and every time the service is amazing the staff are knowledgeable, very warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious freshly made and well presented. I particularly like the tapas sized dishes which are creative fresh and delicious. We were lucky enough to enjoy the fondue last night it was a wow from all of us. The items that were presented to dip were fresh and delicious and well cooked particularly the sirloin steak and pork belly and not forgetting the roast potato’s to dip in the beef and red wine gravy. We have booked to come back tonight with even more friends this is definitely my go to restaurant in Farnham .

Wow! Visited this place for the first time last night and I was utterly blown away. The food, the service, the ambience…..all 10/10! Cannot wait to go back….would highly recommend!

We have been here a few times now for brunch and lunch. The food is good and the place is lovely as there’s limited options in Farnham, but the service isn’t the best. They’re clearly trying hard and maybe it’s just teething issues, but it’s very slow and we’ve often had to ask for cutlery, pester them to order drinks or how much longer our food would be. Everyone is perfectly friendly but it’s very slow.

Terrible meal last night. Started so well, beef nachos were amazing. The rest of the food then turned up late. The calamari we ordered was cold and when we pointed this out it was taken back and re-fried rather than a new portion brought out. Terrible food hygiene and service. For example, the tuna skewers were a poor potion for £12 ( 2 skewers with 3 very small pieces on a skewer). Lovely setting was let down by being cold where we sat. Shame, promising start let down by the rest! Let’s hope it gets better….

Four of us went for breakfast this morning..we had full English snd vegetarian..when they arrived they were all barely warm, verging on cold..not once did the staff come over to ask if our food was OK.. we had limited time so ate what we could as no time to wait for a replacement..we were given a measly 20% discount, on hindsight we should have just sent it back immediately. We won't be returning in future..staff need to be more attentive, seemed to be congregating around the service area rather than taking note of their customers..

I have only ever been here for drinks, today the welcome was good and table found swiftly. Servers were all exceptally polite but service was poor overall. Drinks took ages to arrive, saw cocktail maker/bartender unloading dishwasher instead of making our drinks 10mins after we had ordered drinks. Surely those jobs are to be done when patrons are not waiting. Also at the end of our time there we had to go and ask at the bar for our bill, wait staff were ignoring tables. Second round, the bar tender noticed us trying to get the attention of the wait staff as they were too busy having a nice chat/ catch-up. Seems alot of staff but they are not very attentive. Bit of a shame as the first male server was great and cocktails were good. I will go again but hope the service has improved or I get a table closer of the bar

Went in for a solo breakfast. Service was great, attentive but not intrusive. Food portions were huge (could potentially be made smaller, as I personally hate waste) Had the vegetarian breakfast. Green juice was delicious!

Priced around £15, it exceeded all expectations, offering excellent value for money and a depth of flavor that’s hard to beat. The atmosphere was casual yet refined, perfect for a post-work debrief over good food and drinks. We especially appreciated being shown around by a kind gentleman who took us up to the roof terrace. The terrace is a true standout, offering a stunning view of Farnham’s historic market town—ideal for summer evenings! With their early morning coffee service starting at 8:30 AM and such a diverse menu, Jack and Alice is a fantastic spot for any time of day. Highly recommend checking it out—whether it’s for a relaxed brunch, a special dinner, or drinks on that spectacular terrace. We'll definitely be back!

We had an engagement brunch for 28 people, so a large group booking! The staff were incredible, all the food came out on time, they were really on it with getting people drinks, they really couldn’t have been more accommodating. A lovely time was had by all, but the star of the show really was the staff! Can’t thank them enough for allowing us to celebrate our engagement.

Went in for coffees and cakes today but gave up after waiting 20+ mins to even be acknowledged by staff, gave up and took our custom somewhere else

Worst experience I have ever had dining out. The food was shocking. 1 prawn, no muscles and a slither of salmon in the seafood linguine. Burnt ribs, stale bread, overcooked veg. Staff did not care, was informed one was out drinking hence why they were understaffed. The manager confirmed they didn't care as they were leaving soon. Cocktail staff looked very depressed and so slow. Was a real shame as I was taking mum out for a treat.

Dinner with friends with a great tapas style menu. Burgers, fish, veggie, tacos...so much choice and a superb dessert to finish off.

Went with 4 friends on a Thursday evening. Only 3 other tables were being used. When our food arrived, we had to go look for cutlery. No one assusted us. 3 of them ordered tomato salad. This was actually 1 tomato cut into quarters, unusual on a side dish, but hey, most of the dish was rocket and then 3 slices cucumber. Very disappointing. My food was delicious. I had ribs and chicken wings. Others were mostly disappointed with their mains. When we finished eating, the plates got removed, and we were just left there for half an hour on our own. Eventually, we had to catch someone and ask for the bill and went elsewhere for puddings and more drinks. Had they asked, we would have given them the order, but no one bothered to ask. Hence, we also did not pay the service charge added to the bill.

Quick early breakfast with a coffee is what we wanted and what we got. Friendly and fast service in a restaurant with character. Would very much recommend it for breakfast as it has a wide choice.

Welcoming new addition to Farham's Borough Street. Actually we were welcomed on arrival. Made us feel really special. Lunch time Monday the place was full. (There are tables on the first floor).

We popped in for refreshments when at the Sunday antiques market. What a lovely place. The young lady that served us was so attentive and polite, with a really charming manner, I believe her name was Harriet. We’d only ordered drinks but this didn’t detract from the level of service provided. Our dogs were welcomed and shown great deal of affection by the staff. Will definitely be popping in again, maybe next time we’ll eat.

Excellent service and food. The interior is a mix of the old and the new utilising what appears to be original brick work and wooden beams alongside an artistic decor all of which creates a very comfortable and enjoyable experience.

The food came relatively quickly, steak was lovely and it cut like butter. Generous fry portion sizes.

My wife ordered mac and cheese with panko breadcrumbs .A simple enough dish.There were no breadcrumbs. It looked like it had come out of a tin. It was a tiny portion too.Staff were lovely though.Although I did tell our waitress about the food, she didn't offer anything to compensate our disappointment.
