Jade delight in Blackpool

Me and my partner ordered a curry this evening and steamed rice and the food quality was absolutely on point and delicious. I could've had a little more sauce on my curry but my partner said his curry was beautiful. May order again in the future, thank you for a tasty curry Jade delight as it really was yummy and it really was super filling too. I would recommend this place to everyone to order!!👌🏻😃😃

Was there Friday night we had buffet was excellent nice and fresh the man at front of restaurant was really nice my wife forgot her hand bag on way out and he came running out down the street to get us with her hand bag 👜 a big thank very much we will be back 👍

This is a lovely little buffet restaurant with very friendly staff. Price is £18 and is good value as there's a great selection of different dishes which are topped up regularly so are always fresh. Goos draft Sun lik beer too. A very good experience and we will definitely return.

Went because of the reviews but was very disappointed. The food was not very appetising looking and the beef was tough. The desserts were a joke, miniature shot glasses with jelly etc and water was from a jug with plastic mugs. A waste of money.

Staff were super helpful and catered to my allergies, went out of their way to make sure I had a meal that both was safe for me to eat and tasty. Food was amazing! Good portion size and can’t knock at all for the price, plenty of options too. I eat a lot of ramen and this is definitely one of the best I’ve had.

Posiblemente haya sido una noche ajetreada pero casi no hay comida que ver y en algunos casos afortunada si fue una cucharada. La familia en la mesa cercana había tomado claramente el 90 % de la comida. Pudines en vasos de chupito y el helado más barato, pero incluso entonces solo había raspados en el fondo de las bañeras a £ 40, además para 2 de nosotros era caro para lo que estaba disponible

Encontré esta joya de TripAdvisor como el número uno chino en Blackpool. No he estado en un buffet durante años, ya que encontré que los platos se mezclan en uno, pero no aquí. La comida era excelente y cocinado fresco. No emiten cantidades masivas para sentarse y calentarse, sino que cocinan fresco regularmente a medida que los platos bajan. Comí la sopa de pollo y maíz dulce para empezar, tortitas de pato y luego una mezcla de pollo agridulce y varios currys. El precio es muy razonable para comida de buena calidad, pero lo mejor de este restaurante es el servicio. Mi hijo tiene alergia al sésamo y se encuentra en la mayoría de los platos chinos. El tipo en la barra era de sonido apropiado y le clasificó un plato de fideos de pollo y setas que le encanta. El personal se aseguró de que el plato estaba cocinado fresco y no había contaminación cruzada con los otros platos. Mejor aún, ni siquiera nos cobró por ello. Las bebidas también están bien de precio y el personal era muy atento si estaban bajando. Sin duda recomendaría este restaurante a cualquiera que visite Blackpool. ¡Máxima mierda!

Used Jade delight for a while now, definitely a regular for delivery Always very impressed. Fresh food Everytime, High standards and we have never had any issues with delivery. The delivery guy is always super happy. Recommended Jade delight to many. Thanks again.

Used to be the best Chinese around, order tonight and it was soggy and had no flavour and portion size is horrendous! It’s a shame because it used to be amazing, will not be ordering again.

Geezer at the bar was really nice. He was real busy but didn’t stress and seated us quickly. We visit Blackpool regularly and have had takeaway delivery before but heard about the buffet and wanted to try it. Did not disappoint. Great place. Cheaper than the ‘big’ guys but quality was sound. Definitely a go to first use now every time. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing food and good portions for the money you pay I’ve never had a bad experience with jade delight. And amazing customer service really warning and friendly people I literally don’t go anywhere else I’d advise eating here trust me on that

We came to Jade Delight last night for my sons birthday and they really made his night and made him feel special. The food was lovely too would 100% recommend.

Didn’t get food as we waited half an hour for our food order to be taken and ended up leaving. Lady wouldn’t take money for the drinks which was nice. Others had been waiting a long time for food and service seemed very slow. Could have been a one-off bad night, but I wouldn’t take the chance again, sorry.

The food was fantastic, the people there were extremely friendy and the service was really good apart from when they accidentally forgot are Chinese tea!!!

Fair quality, bigger in size given the price. highly localised Chinese food which might be great for locals but it leaves a bit to be desired for those who want authentic

What a brilliant little Chinese Restaurant. The guy who served us was great and he obviously loves working there. Well done guys lovely food, spotlessly clean and the menu 3 course special at £15 was great value for money.

Fantastic little find, the accommodated our group of 17 and the service was excellent. The food was all lovely, great to know it was cooked fresh and not sat on the buffet for ages like in similar places. We'll definitely return next time we're in Blackpool!

Gorgeous Chinese. We went yesterday just as it opened (Friday 24th May) after looking on google and Trip advisor and we are so glad we did. When we arrived we were welcomed by a lovely gent who seated us and explained it was an all you can eat buffet on a weekend and we had to pay upfront. Completely fine with us, doesn't make a difference. He was very accommodating as we had our autistic son with us so sat us where we we felt comfortable (close to the door incase he wants to leave haha) The food was all freshly cooked and piping hot and they kept replenishing each dish as soon as it ran low. They have it spot on here as they dont just batch cook and keep throwing it on, they judge it by how many people are in to ensure it is fresh and tasty for everyone. Not like a normal buffet were the food is left to sit for hours. 20mins in our son wanted to leave so we had to take turns eating our meal and the staff couldn't be more supportive checking in that we were ok and asking if we needed anything. This meant alot to us, no judgement just friendliness. Special shout out to the delivery girl with the blonde hair who I spoke to outside who offered to get some colouring pencils and paper out of her car for our son to see if that would help. Thank you for your kindness! Overall I would highly recommend this place. Service was excellent, staff were all amazing and the food was absolutely gorgeous.

The duck fried rice I ordered honestly didn't taste fried, if it was it still tasted like just boiled rice. The soy sauce came in a pot so you can add it yourself which sounds nice in practice but it should be fried with the rice so it didn't taste as nice. The duck itself was quite tasty but had quite a few hard chunks thrown in as well. The chips were delicious so no complaints there :)

I actually was heading to a different place, I noticed Jade Delight driving past and the place I was heading to was closed so decided to give it a go. How happy am I my original choice was closed. Fantastic. The guy on the bar/ server was so welcoming and happy throughout my time there I was convinced he was the owner and I asked him he said he was bar and waiter. I was amazed his enthusiasm energy and passion was fantastic. I’d go back again just because of how he treated you. The food was very very good and the best value for money I’ve spent in a long time. No frills, but I absolutely loved it and will 100% be back. Give it a go. You absolutely won’t be disappointed. Really really fantastic.

Called in on Saturday after seeing the usual Chinese we use when visiting Blackpool was closed. Friendly welcome upon arrival and informed it was a buffet - bonus Sumner was lovely and spent time chatting to my little boy. Good variety of food on the buffet and very nice. Definately recommended

Went for the first time friday 8th december. Wish we had found it sooner. Got there just after opening at 5pm. The guy who greeted us was really friendly. Staff were great. £18 each and £3 for a pint of coke which is good. Food was amazing. Quality was great. Plenty of choice. Best chinese buffet i have been to in a long while and i have been to a few. Defo worth a visit if near blackpool. Cant praise this place enough.

Expected delivery time 1 hour, After waiting an hour and half. phone up the Takeaway to see where the delivery was. Driver hasn’t arrived and the food isn’t even cooked yet. Owner was rude and even put the phone down. Not using again.

Wow,this place was one of the highlights of our trip to Blackpool. The food was great,plenty of it & well worth the money. It does get busy so pop in & book a table as the phone does not work.There is a 2 hour limit but plenty of time to enjoy the many delicious options.

Ordered takeaway from here last night for a group of 8. Food was great, not overly salty or greasy which can often be the case.

Check when you come in if they are actually serving what’s on the menu. After we’d waited to seated they told us it’s all you can eat buffet only. So the price of what we actually wanted instantly doubled. Then the small amount of dry (likely reheated from the previous night) food was all gone and no-one was replacing anything unless you complained to the staff. I think they trade on the fact most places nearby are take away. I wouldn’t recommend it and won’t be coming back.

Great Chinese in Blackpool , super food , great service, recommend

Went to Jades delight on Saturday 21st October. We walked in and requested a table, they had afew book ins but was able to accommodate us. The menu was a a buffet which was perfect for us and try new things. It was pay before you buy which was also fine by us and drinks were reasonably priced. The food was delicious, and regularly restocked so nothing was sat for long. Staff were friendly and very welcoming. Been wanted to come here for a while and already looking forward to our next visit to Blackpool to pop in to jades delight again.

Great food, great service and great value. We went on a Sunday evening, four adults and a child for the Buffet. Personally, I usually think buffets are poor, stack em high with poor quality. That is not the case here, a modest selection of well executed dishes, never piled high but constantly fresh and replenished. We were asked to order drinks and pay up front, which seems to have irked some previous reviewers, however I would ask why they do this? It's obvious that they have been victims of repeated acts of running out on the bill, so what else can they do? There are some gripes about "rules" but who can argue with excessive food waste not being paid for, it's not environmentally friendly nor great for the business. Anyway, I usually find buffet service, non existent however both folk were both attentive, unobtrusive and funny, which made the visit even better. My only complaint is that we don't live closer or we would be regulars, ignore the haters and give this place a whirl.

Absolute joke of a takeaway. Ordered from here multiple times, food has always been nice. Placed a £50 order this evening, the food arrived stone cold. Chicken was awful and slightly pink. The shredded duck was so dry we couldn’t even eat it. Literally none of the food was edible we threw almost the entire order away. When we phoned Jade delight to explain how unhappy we were the customer service was beyond shocking. Initially tried to offer 10% off next order but we will not be ordering again. We said we want our order refunding or at least a partial refund. The guy we spoke to said because we threw the food away they couldn’t do anything with it and therefor couldn’t refund, so is that implying they would send some of this cold stale food to another customer?! Doesn’t even make sense. Awful takeaway with awful customer service would not recommend.

We visited on Saturday night and we're seated quickly without a reservation. We were greeted by friendly servers and chose to have the buffet option. The food was amazing quality and was being frashly replenished during our visit. This is the best Chinese buffet we have had to date and would not hesitate to return next time we visit Blackpool.

After reading the reviews on here thought we would give the buffet a try, food looked nice and plenty of it however as we were eating our meal it was getting more and more salty to the point that is all you could taste it also made your tongue sore ,it was such a shame never had a Chinese as salty as that, we did finish the plate although you maybe thinking well if it was that bad why eat it. We had to pay upfront of £42 which we paid in cash to us that was expensive to leave and go and get something else, also I feel by paying upfront you haven't got a leg to stand on if your not happy, like I said such a shame as this place had good reviews but for us we would not return far to much salt

Don’t be put off by the bad reviews and photos online. This place is so much nicer than we expected. We went as a family of 4. The food was great, loads of choice and hot. The staff were friendly and attentive. Reasonable prices. Would go again! Been to a few other buffet restaurants in Blackpool and this has definitely been the best.

Been to the buffet a handful of times over the past few months with friends who have been going here for years. The buffet has loads of choice and is always hot and delicious, being constantly replenished through the evening so it’s never stood around. Dirty plates are taken away quickly and the little desserts are delicious - especially the trifle. All staff are lovely but special mention to front of house Summer. Hopefully we’ll be back soon.

Visited this place for the second time. The menu is fantastic giving you a chance to try 6 starters, soup and main meal. I can recommend every starter (my family pocked one of everything). The main meal was fantastic, char sui pork with mushroom and fried rice, freshly prepared and hot. On a Friday and Saturday they have a buffet, which although not tasted, the food looks fantastic Service is off the scale, staff are so polite and attentive but not in your face. Great value for money. It's taken my family years to find a Chinese like this in Blackpool, it is almost as good as our local Chinese we use in Glasgow.

Food was delicious hot and fresh had the build your own. Had soup starters and main for 14.50 each. Everything was well cooked and the gentleman serving us was brilliant. Very cold inside and atmosphere a little dead but all in all a fantastic place to eat . Must try

Visited while in town for my cousins memorial weekend. Booked table for 8 and the sign on the door said close at 10.30. No fresh food after 9, table service was rushed and was general made to feel unwelcome after 9. Poor service and poor customer service. Very disappointed, spoilt the evening.

Highly recommend the buffet night option. Went last night. All you can eat buffet. Plenty of choice, soup, starters, mains and mini puddings. Staff so welcoming. Summer, restaurant manager, was so lovely, took time out to tell us some good cycle routes (thanks Summer we took your advice today). We usually go to the Mandarin Chinese but decided to give Jade Delight a try given their trip advisor reviews. Don’t hesitate as the food is absolutely delicious, replenished so you are not waiting for the buffet to be refilled. Cooked by a husband and wife team. You won’t be disappointed. Great value for money £18 per person.

I'll be honest, I wasn't stuck on the exterior when we arrived. But based on reviews, we decided to go for it. Small inside, and yes you have to pay first which is a little strange, but the food and service was second to non. Replenished regularly and it was all round a cracking little restaurant. Will return. Boss to see a small business thrive in hard times.

Hidden gem, genuine Chinese food, place reminds me of Hong Kong local eateries... worth paying a visit, buffet meals worth the money, if visiting, before 8.30, they stop allowing in house dining. Very friendly staff but could do with another member of staff as very busy not only restaurant but takeaway and delivery service. I have had the takeaway many times but decided to pay a visit tonight it was the buffet at £18pp Food was a good standard and warm would highly recommend

This place was fantastic for a reasonably priced family meal. The food was delicious. We sat in on the Thursday and had a take away in the Saturday. The food in the restaurant was more enjoyable but the take out was still nice. It’s unusual that my kids enjoy a meal as much as much but this was somewhere we all loved.

Quiet, peaceful place, there are not more people on Sunday evenings. At 18 pounds you can eat whatever you want: fish, meat, soup, desserts, everything is delicious.

All the food tasted the same, all the mains are the same the prawn toast is chicken. The duck and seaweed is always empty. Poor food choices, very old and cold. When went i end up just eating starters.

This restaurant used to be our favourite place to eat, we knew it wasn’t as it was but chose it for a birthday meal on Sunday, we booked a table but when we got there only 2 tables were taken and could pick where to sit, our drinks order was taken by the lady with the apron that has worked there a long time, we asked for separate payments and was told no we couldn’t as we were sat at the same table, her attitude wasn’t good and definitely not welcoming, we got up to get our starters the one choice of soup was nice but only warm, the drinks took ages to arrive by a very nice gentleman who took our payments and did do separate payments but said if we wanted anymore drinks we couldn’t do it on the cards we had payed on because they can only be used once? They food was ok not a lot of choice same as usual, but again only warm, on the next table was some young men with their feet on chairs slurping trifles out of the very small shot cups as many as they could plainly messing around, it was very uncomfortable especially when we had a 3yr old with us. I’m sorry to say after all these years that’s the last time we will be going to jades, there is a far more superior buffet restaurant also within walking distance, welcoming friendly staff that we don’t have to pay upfront can spit the bill get as many drinks as want that has far more verity and my grandson gets a choice of lolly pop on the way out probably why it’s extremely busy. What a shame you have lost our custom and recommendations.

WARNING I was ill the day after I had the buffet. Which I was forced to have as they make you pay before you see the food and they refused to give me my money back. The Chinese woman was very racist towards me. Don't order beers as you will need a bank loan, definitely the most expensive in Blackpool.

So many rules, they give you a sheet of about 10 to follow before you even order. The food was awful. Sooo dry - like chewing on a leather shoe. The dishes on the buffet rarely get filled up, most of them empty and ones that aren’t you can see they’ve been there for ages - sauces were like jelly. The desserts are like trial portions in the smallest shot glass, you’d need 10 to get a normal portion. Not worth the money at all. Atmosphere was dead.

Amazing food great prices, we have visited this Chinese several times. If it’s not on the menu it is no trouble for them to cook your favourite dish or adapt their dishes if you dislike an item.

So glad we picked here for dinner today. Staff very friendly, Especially the waitress. Really lovely atmosphere. Nothing to much trouble for any of the staff. Food was constantly fresh and so tasty I tried abit of everything and honestly couldn't fault anything. Can't wait to return here on our return visit end of year.

The staff demanded payment 3 times off husband when he already said 'my wife is paying' so not sure why they did that then they left the buffet price and rules on table after I paid.(the most appropriate way to say we need payment first or else no food)We had to ask for a highchair 3 times before we got one. The food was ok not great , we were visiting Blackpool so comparing food and service Michael wan Wok inn they were miles better. For us, we wont be going back again.

Came here this evening for my partners birthday, and wish we'd never!!!!! the food was disgusting hard rice, soup tasted like dish water and when we complained the chefs attitude stunk!!!

Hong Kong style sweet n sour chicken battered balls bursting with flavours and fresh tasting. The beef curry is also perfect . Highly recommended. 😀
