This is a good Chinese takeaway, I think it is run by the same people who run the one near Farnham station. They were just doing Fish etc and Chips for a while but now doing Chinese takeaway also, No real atmosphere as it is takeaway only,but friendly and professional staff.

Honestly best Chinese in the area - so glad we found it when we moved to the area 2 years ago! Always so fresh and delicious, so wouldn’t go anywhere else. I would advise calling in advance to place your order as it can be very busy at peak times. Always ready when they say it will be!

absolutely discusting service and horrible food stay well away from here I went back in to change my food Cold and disgusting I want to change for something else and she would not do it West of 30 pounds

Was extremely busy with phone calls constantly. But the lady who works on the front was very apologetic. I do not mind waiting for my food as I know the food is always hot and fresh. Another 5 star chinese again

Best Chinese in bishops Stortford. Don’t waste your time going elsewhere and being disappointed. Their sweet and sour sauce is on point and they do the best salt and pepper chips!

Having eagerly awaited an indulgent Chinese take away, this was rather a disappointment. It was hard to distinguish the difference between the chicken & beef - tasteless, soggy cuts in flavourless sauces. Will be avoiding in the future.

That was a terrible takeaway, completely tasteless And overcooked. Worth going into town. Complete waste of money!

Yes! Never been here before, visited on a monday night, bought chicken chow mein and chicken balls with lemon sauce. All three absolutely delicious, if it isnt a fluke I would definitely recommend here. Fast and I think freshly cooked. Great service, friendly and happy. Reasonable prices, just the same as anywhere else. No card machine but there is probably one very close by. They have canned drinks too and deals e.g. free prawn crackers and drinks on orders over a certain amount. Thank you Jade House Chinese for a delicious dinner after a very long day =)

I used to give this place 5* & I look forward to visiting my brother as we always get a take away from the local Jade House takeaway but not any more. . I believe the owners Moved to Ely & i think took the chef with them. The food now is OK but no way as good as it used to be. Shame. Note: I think the old chef is back or a new & excellent one has taken over. I popped in on 25/7/19 & had a great take away that i would of been very happy with in any top restaurant. Well done Jade House.

Have been using this as a takeaway for years, extremely happy with the service and quality of the food. My family have dietary allergies and often have a tendency of placing over complicated orders. We have struggled in the past with other takeaways sending dishes with alleregy ingredients still included but Jades have always done their best to be accommodating and ready to fix, if there ever had been a problem. Their customer service really does go above and beyond and I thouroghly reccomend them.

Special fried rice is too expensive and it’s bland and flavourless. It’s plain rice and meat, still disgusting with chilli oil

What has happened to the food in Jade House? We have been going there for years but the take away we had this evening was awful! The ingredients have changed and the taste and look has no relation to how they used to be. All I can assume is that it has recently changed hands... Oh well all good things must come to an end!

There are finer but it is a fantastic price and very quick to serve.

I live near, & was our local.. but was taken over, by a family member and things went down hill from then.. they carn't even get a pancake Roll right.. even seen I asked him, I wanted if crispy.. ( not full of oil dripping ) so now don't use them, and drive to another one .05 miles away...roll on new people... :- (

Just ordered Singapore chow mein and it dosnt have any taste whatsoever. Disappointed!
